I think it was a classic case of people thinking “she’s fine. She’ll be here until the end. Let’s vote for someone else.” And it was probably the same thing with Chris Daughtry. That’s why I think the judges should choose.
She knows very well how to make the song felt very well with surprising high notes. Amazing.!!!
It's already 3am here my time, in the Philippines and my head is singing all Pia Toscano! I can't wait to see her live in the Philippines this coming March.

It's a shame that one of the very best singers 'Pia" didn't go through further. I think that America just thought we didn't need to vote for her because of how amazingly good she is. I understand that the judges wanted her to sing something other than ballads. That is the singer Pia is... she sings ballads and sings them great. She could have won just singing ballads, don't take someone out of their comfort zone just because they want to see something else. I still believe that she and Hailey should have been in the top 2. When Hailey was in the top three and didn't win it all. That was the last time I watched American Idol.
Pia is a patriot and that doesn’t sit well with that group.

💖💖💖 A few years ago, when I caught sight of Loren Alfred on AGT, I was absolutely captivated and couldn't wait for my fix of her videos. And then, lo and behold, I stumbled upon a vid Loren was performing with Pia Toscano on David Foster show singing "Tell Him" and "I am Telling You, I am not going" - boy, was I itching to uncover more Pia treasures after that! I mean, Pia's vocal prowess is off the charts, I simply crave more of her pipes, and she should unquestionably rule the divas world!

1 people thought she was safe and didn’t vote for her or 2 jealous female voters
She and Haley should have been the top 2 that season
Haley was really amazing. But honestly, Pia was very raw then. She got the range already, but very unrefined. The Pia Toscano now is totally different, she’s improved more than 100%! She’s at par with the best vocalist there is, she just needed some training.

Steven Tyler was the only one that got it right
This was the week that screwed Pia.....while I totally understand the dynamic of her singing uptempo songs, the bottom line is if ain't broke don't fix it!!! They put too much pressure on her to do that when it wasn't necessary.....there were plenty of other singers on the show who sang the same type of music multiple weeks in a row who didn't have that kind of pressure put on them.....plus they already foolishly used the save on Casey 2 weeks before this so they couldn't even save her.....
Song choice - great song but not a winning one for this “Moment”…it is 2023 now and she is amazingly better…but…needs signature originals to be another Celine or Whitney…at their level.

I can see why she didn't win. This wasn't very good. Wrong song for her. She should gone with an upbeat Motown song. Not enough maturity in her voice for this song.
