When it comes to titan marvel they are so good that they will just pick any team and go crazy. The way I see, it goes 2 ways: 1. It tells me you can’t beat my team with your original main team (which in mvc2’s case) is the team you put majority of your time, heart, and soul into. Instead of trying to find an answer an answer on your own or just improve, you switch to a team that helps solve the problem for you instead of solving the problem yourself. Basically it says something about you as a player. 2. On the other hand, if we’re talking strictly high stakes competition with lots of $$$ on the line i.e. Evo GFs (even tho in reality, they don’t really payout), then swapping teams to counter isn’t received as badly and might actually be encouraged. I think counterpicking outside a high stakes tourney setting is corny af tbh but everybody has their own opinion. If you’re counterpicking in a beef set or a MM, you’re whack lol
