5:30 That's the clearest shifting demo tip. Thanks bro
Thanks for watching 👍🏻
Up shifting without the clutch doesn't hurt it you let off the power then shift quickly the gear floats in sometimes smoother then when you pull the clutch in
Thanks man! Not many videos about standing and shifting
Nice video! I'm learning motocross and this was very useful. Thanks!
Thanks for your tips,
Thank you so much for this videos man it really helps a lot! Thanks again!
Thanks man
Yes
That’s interesting. For sport bikes it’s no problem and even times smoother with good technique shifting up clutch less, but always shift down with clutch
nice one my brother. helped me alot🦾🦾🙏🙏❤❤
I had problems with my foot being stuck under the shifter, i put it up a bit now just like yours. Good to see you have the same shift lever position🤣👍🏻 Makes me feel like i did the right thing lol.
i learned the hard way when my foot got crammed between the peg and the shifter and causes me to lose control and fall over causing a minor leg injury after that i put that damn gear lever as high as possible
30 videos later i finally found my aswer thank bro thank you
Thanks for watching 👍🏻
I'm a beginner. Thanks for the tip.
Back in the day (70s) I would only use the clutch on my Yamaha 360s to start off or when coming to a full stop. Wondering why we need use clutches today. Bikes getting worse?
wtf is this? a joke?
No joke, that's what we did.
So you can stay on the gas and change gears without letting off on a dirt bike ?
Thinking about getting a Honda 80rxr as a beginner bike, any tips?
Depends on the age and height of the rider but it can be a great learner bike.
Well you don't need the clutch in a semi, so if you're burning your dirtbike gearbox out in a year, you're doing something wrong.
Syncromesh is there for a reason.
Do you brake then downshift or downshift then brake?
Get your braking done and then downshift when you are done braking 👍🏻
@@SocalOffroadSchool Thank you!
Does shifting down without a clutch hurt the bike ?
No 😃
So shifting up without clutch is not good and I shouldn't do it but shifting down doesn't hurt the bike at all?
bascially yes
Yeah
No you can shift up without the clutch twist the throttle as soon as you twist it back and there is no accelerating or engine braking shift got to be quick but it's smoother then shifting with clutch
It doesn't hurt you if you're riding a factory bike 🤣. If you do wanna work on your bike much you can shift without the clutch. Shifting without the clutch is sometimes good but not all the time as eventually it will wear down the gearbox. The two stroke I ride I have always shifted with the clutch in, seems slower yet the gearbox will last longer.
@@eric6rock it will last about the same but the clutch will last longer
im riding KTM 125 Sx
How you making out?
Cool bike 👍🏻
@@SocalOffroadSchool yes its a really good bike
@@SocalOffroadSchool and i meant 150 not 125
