I'd say Rebels are the worst on account of the AI's obsession with shooting corpses leaves them open to having entire groupa die to a single grenade. Honestly the amount of times ive seen nearly half a dozen rebels sitting around blasting a corpse with their heads all staring at me is endlessly hilarious
yeah it's a very neat detail of a faction AI's behavior but it definitely is not fun to play on Polis Massa as the rebels and just see your reinforcements plummet because of thermal detonators killing like 10 of your buddies at once.

This isn't pointed at the OP who made this video. They're just doing a fun comparison between the factions. But, this was during a time where people played video games for fun. The whole meta bs came along from MMOs, where they try to get every decimal point advantage out of whatever they are working on. Which makes sense for THOSE games. However! Then it started to bleed into other games, such as shooters. Like if you weren't using a specific gun in CoD that had a 0.002% faster kill rate. And that's when it got to a point where people would shit on someone and bully them (and sometimes grief them ingame) because they weren't playing the game the way they think the person should have to.

@chataclysm2112 CS is different, in that it has a purposefully tiered structure. The weapons are unbalanced in performance intentionally. More expensive weapons are more expensive, because they are better in about every way on purpose. No one is going to be using the uzi when they are sitting on 15k cash. They are going to be using an AK or awp. Because those weapons do more damage, more accurate, etc. The most recent example of what I'm talking about is a meta crowd in Helldivers 2. Most weapons have been pretty well balanced in performing in what way they were built to function. Rifles at long range, shotguns are close range, etc. But Helldivers 2 is a PvE coop game and yet you can go on the Steam forums and people have reported being team-killed or kicked out of the match, because they aren't using specifically the Breaker shotgun, because that's the "meta".
Another thing that I'd say gives CIS an advantage is their units have smaller frames. I don't necessarily think their hit boxes are smaller (or maybe they are?) but I think it just takes that extra millisecond to see them, especially on darker maps and at range. Was even worse on a traditional TV back in the day. Clones you can spot a mile away.
The rebels have a penchant for losing, because their coded to shoot at dead imperial bodies with their secondaries until the body prop despawns. Theyll acknowledge your there, and keep shooting at the body, like literally look at you as theyre shooting
@@vandad13The Rebels in Legends weren’t as black and white as you’d think. Many times the Rebels ventured into extremely coordinated terrorism. Considering this is a Legends era game, I feel like overkilling Imperials fits their ruthlessness.
I think the Republic gunship has limited missiles because of a line in Episode 2 where a clone pilot says 'We are out of missiles' or something like that to Anakin while piloting this type of gunship. Like, they tried to stay true to the source and added it as a mechanic to the game
1:00 Something about the basic storm trooper shooting off center really quickly is extremely fitting considering all the jokes about them missing all the time
The Emperor has a bit of a different playstyle. One thing the emperor does have that's pretty good is the ability to block instantly while you are doing force lighting. So basically you shock your target once, then block and repeat that process until you are close enough to slash your enemy. I recommend only doing 2 slashes, the third slash is very slow and engineers and wookies can shoot you before you hit them with third swing. Also the sprint is pretty nice, since you can keep moving after a slash. If you encounter a lonely hero, you can choke and lightning them with the glitch.
As the emperor if you force choke and then while holding the force button alternate quickly between lightning and choking you hold the target in place and deal damage while not draining your stamina meter, its impossible to counter or break free of. The emperor is the most busted hero in the game because of that
Yes it lets your stamina meter recharge for some reason, but idk it just feels cheap, they HAVE to patch that out for online when they release the classic collection tho
The Emperor is an absolutely devastating hero if you know how to use him. Force choke is unblockable and completely disables any unit it catches, including other heroes, for the duration of the grip and a few seconds afterwards, allowing you to close the distance and get free hits with your lightsaber (his dash attack alone is enough to almost one-shot Luke). Force Lightning is a very powerful mid-range attack that damages multiple units without the cost of losing access to your saber, allowing you to switch between offence and defence safely and easily. Oh, and his jumping attack can also nuke an entire room of enemies.
Yeah tbh I was playing him badly, after experimenting with his lightning, sprint and jump attack, he's actually pretty good, lightsaber should basically be used majorly as a blocking tool
@@Dankakin-SkyWalker-the emperor is more of a force user than he is a lightsaber user which makes him a pretty weak hero for hero vs hero. But for basic troops he is insanely good
On PS2 there’s a glitch with the Rebel’s LAAT where its particle cannon/torpedos aren’t sighted correctly, and don’t shoot where you’re aiming. Which is really weird since it’s the same ship the Republic uses, and the Republic version doesn’t have that issue.
Idk why but I actually get great results from the Imperial officer’s Sonic blaster. It’s really good for bunched up troops in tight spaces like mustafar and Tantive. I tend to treat it like a magnum type pistol. High damage but unwieldy and slow. At mid range it shines and is one of my preferred weapons to use on the Wookies. His grenade launcher outshines it in my mind but I think the sonic blaster gets a bad rap
IMO 1. CIS 2 Empire 3. Republic 4. Rebels The CIS and Empire have some of the best vehicles in the game. That the developers put ATRTs up against AATs is laughable to say the least. Plus the rebels only tank has rockets that go basically everywhere except where you are aiming. Maul and Jango are the best heroes in the game in my experience. Jango’s hitscan pistol is slept on, plus with his jetpack he can escape from bad situations easier than any other blaster hero besides his son. I don’t think Palpatine is quite as bad as you give him credit for being. His lightning slam explosion thing is beastly in small rooms like you see on Jedi Temple. I’d give worst hero to Chewbacca. The remote control rockets are cool but using it is just asking to slowly lose all your health while trying to find a target. Or dying because the enemy found you while you can’t defend yourself.
That's fair, I do also think jango is pretty underrated, his pistol is a one shot kill if you land a head shot, and his time bombs are great for tanks and turrets, the empire also definitely have awesome vehicles, but yeah Chewbacca is definitely the worst hero, played the emperor a bit more recently, with his lightning and ground slam, he is pretty usable, just different
Id rank them like this: 1. CIS: SBD is super accurate but blaster fires too slow for my liking. Droideka is the single best unit in the game. Darth Maul is the best Force user by far, Dooku is the worst (even worse than Palpatine imo) but only appears in one map. 2. Republic: the hero’s do a lot of lifting here. Every single Jedi is at minimum an average hero. There are no bad Jedi hero’s. Jet trooper is based. Clone trooper has the best rifle imo, fires faster than the SBD, but is less accurate. Sacrifice I’m willing to make for rate of fire. 3. Rebels: tough decision to put them below the republic for me. The Republic and Rebels would be 2A and 2B, but the reason they aren’t, is that they stand around shooting dead bodies and that the republic’s Jedi are all so good. That’s why I’m giving the edge to the Republic. 4. Empire: Stormtrooper has the fastest ROF blaster among standard infantry units but is very inaccurate. Works best in close quarters maps such as the Death Star, Tantive IV and Jabba’s Palace. Dark trooper is really good. Vader, Anakin, Emperor, and Boba Fett are the worst lineup of hero’s for any faction by far. Anakin is the only average or above hero.
I wish this upcoming classic collection allowed us to have different factions going at it. Like the story did with the CIS vs the Empire, or Empire vs the Republic
You're definitely using Palps wrong. His melee is a backup, his real weapon is force lightning. The man is basically a roided out dark trooper. Camp a corner or chokepoint and zzap entire waves of enemies. Easily the best hero that isn't 'press RMB to saber throw (win)'.
Everyone also sleeps on the magnaguard's neuro posion ability too. That thing is op! If you land it on a group of enemies they're all going to die no matter how much health they have
Edit: Just my opinion 4 = Rebels because of missions where vehicle advantage for Empire is numerous (Endor) allow to be pinned down very early in game. Y-Wing copilot has a minigun? 3 = Clones because they are easy to spot from distance and droid sniper has better range. LAAT is good but not better than droids. 2 = Droids for they are hard to spot from distance and droidekas can solo checkpoints. Space battles are very easy for them. 1 = Empire for multiple missions where they get clear vehicle advantage, allowing very aggressive early game rushes. ATAT only vehicle in game requiring dedicated teamwork to bring down. Jawas can heal them allowing them to hold positions longer. ATST has only threats in the form of dedicated rocket teams from Rebels and traps on Endor and no way to be killed at Mos Eisley (very hard to obtain and I forget which game). In maps where vehicles don't exist, dark trooper and Palps don't need grenades to squad kill with lightning and rebel sniper doesn't get many locations to hold positions. TIE Bomber can single-handedly crush positions with bombs and fighter primary hits hardest and has fastest fire rate. Some vehicles like ATST get homing missiles for copilot. Now if teams could fight each other in what-ifs like rebels v droids defending on Hoth: 4 = Rebels 3 = Clones 2 = Empire 1 = Droids
Fair points, but despite the vehicle advantages on certain maps, endor for example, it's surprisingly easier to win as the rebels, I do agree with you otherwise, but the empire do have the worst special unit in the game, the imperial officer, which i think drags them down
@@Dankakin-SkyWalker- I will agree that the officer is the worst special as he's the only one I had to look up just to remember what he did. Also, the only times I would use him was to orbital strike after rage buffing so I could actually kill something. Also, the only officer I regularly used was Otto from SW Demolition probably doesn't help much. But to be honest, Endor was always a hard map as rebels for me because of the walker and the ewoks usually got friendly-fired as I am very trigger happy. Also, I never really had issues with the troopers accuracy as I always charged groups with them.
Yes the ewoks can be easy to miss and shoot, but on the contrary they're a royal pain in the arse if you're a stormtrooper surrounded by 4 of them all knocking you all over the place with rocks
CIS main battle tank, the AAT, is my favorite ground vehicle, albeit clunky. Republic is a close second in terms of ground vehicles while the Empire is either fun on Hoth or copying Republic tanks. And rebel vehicles are somewhere between absolutely fun and trash. The rebellion cut funds on quality tanks in favor of mass peoducing rockets and spamming them all over the place. It's sheer devastation.
The Emperor is genuinely terrible. He's pretty much the opposite of how he is in the lore. The only thing he has going for him is a glitch where you can force choke someone, then switch to force lightning while still choking to use both at the same time.
One thing that I think you downplayed was the differences in blasters between the factions. The Clone Trooper seems to have the fastest firing blaster, the Stormtrooper has the next best one, the Rebel Soldier's is noticeably worse and the Super Battle droids wrist blaster is pretty bad due to its slow fire rate.
Clones and Rebels have the same fire rate, and kill a blaster rifle wielder in 6 shots. Stormtroopers shoot faster, but deal less damage. Takes 7 shots. Super Battle Droids shoot the slowest, but take 5 shots to kill.
Really? I thought they were all the same and the 4 base units (besides the Super Battle Droid) were all the exact same. I never noticed a difference in all these years I've played 😅
@@fuzzyotterpaws4395 Yeah, you can test it out if you want, or you can watch other videos and spot the difference. I only recently found that out, aha.
@@Dankakin-SkyWalker- Suppose if one was to test the kill times of the SBD, Stormtrooper, and the Rebel/Clone Trooper rifles, it would be more worth mentioning. Feels like the SBD ai outguns the Clone Troopers more often than not. And as far as long range combat goes, the SBD does better, followed by the Rebel/Clone, then finally the Stormtrooper, due to different damage per shot.
Palpatine certainly isn't the greatest at fighting opposing force users like luke in regular saber combat, but his lightning attack chains, and can drop very large groups of enemies really quickly, especially for how quickly you can fire off that lightning and for how little energy. Also, his groundslam attack is one of the best hero attacks mid-jump, since it can OHKO a lot of enemies at once within an area, and it's pretty spammable.
Given the remaster collection coming out soon, I don't want to get too imaginative since i'd rather see the core classic experience preserved first with online play, but it'd be great to see them add in cross era faction warfare to the game now that they have the chance, like droids vs imperials, rebels vs clones, or hell even clones vs Empire, they could totally do it without having to record new dialogue too since there are specific story missions in the game that do exactly that.
You’re not using the Emperor correctly. While his saber is lacking, his force lighting can net you countless kills. It’s like mauls saber but at range. CIS is def the best though. Between Droidekas, B2s, their vehicles, Maul AND Grievous… you have everything you need to wipe.
100% one of the BEST crowd control force users in the game. his jump attack is a spammable AoE on top of the fact his dash attack is an instant 100-0. Sidios always despised sabers and prefered his raw power and command of the Force, and that is perfectly reflected in how he plays.
Yes, I was using him wrong, I actually played about with him using his sprint attack, jump attack and lightning more and he's actually not half bad, lightsaber should be used as more of a blocking tool
@@Dankakin-SkyWalker- yeah, I think with just how agile and overwhelming (in melee) all the other force users are, picking up Palps can feel… odd, to say the least haha.
First time I've watched a video after stumbling across your channel. I never played the originals but buzzed for the 14th of March. Love this video with some tranquil music and captions instead of other You Tubers that just scream at people
If you use the E-11 properly then shot for shot it can be incredibly deadly. I find myself tapping for single shots and doing short bursts with it. Once you get yourself into a habit of shooting like that you rarely ever miss.
Emperor is a monster, if you use him right. Don't rely on the normal attacks, use the lightning slams and sprint attacks. You can also fly and use lightning at the same time. Lastly, I believe he can force choke individuals, which is deadly against other heroes. Unlike Darth Vader though, you don't have to be as precise with the sprint attack to capitalize on it. I will agree that Empire is probably the worst, in terms of infantry. However, their vehicles are awesome. As for CIS, they are the ROFL stomp faction. They are seriously broken. Literally the only way you can win against them normally is because the AI doesn't use their abilities properly. One such ability is to walk around in SPACE, but they RARELY ever use this on Polis Massa...and I think they only do if they abandon their vehicles that are too damaged.
I agree with putting the CIS faction at the top, but I tried to post on Twitter that the CIS are the best faction and Elon banned me for using a slur 💔
For standard units: The empire has the highest rate of fire, With both the rebels and the clones being on roughly equal footing, with the cis being the slowest. This means in tight spaces the empire has an advantage, but lose it when they have to do sustained fire at range. Magazine size is also a huge factor, with the empire and clones getting 50 shots before a reload, and with the rebels as well as the cis getting 100. The slow rate of fire and mag size makes it feel like the sbd can shoot forever. The sbd can partially overcome its slow rate of fire at close range with the tri-shot, which does kill very quickly, but also overheats quickly too. So the sbd can quickly dispatch a few troops that get too close, but can struggle if overwhelmed. I say can because the wrist rocket is also the best ''grenade'' in the game. The sbd is by far the best overall standard unit in the game, with the storm troopers being more niche than the clones or rebels..
It's really cool how the rate of fire and accuracy is different based off the units, and yes I agree stormtroopers would be better for tight spaces, like on the Tantive IV at the begining of a new hope
They have my second favourite bomber after the Republic bomber, but it's a bigger target and easier to shoot at which gives the Republic bomber the advantage to me
I'd say Republic personally. Their Hero selection is always a lightsaber user on each map and the special units are decent. Rebellion and CIS are great but sometimes you'll get blaster wielding heroes which are great but nowhere near as good as the force users
Informative vid ! Once i told a guy who went 13-0 I would go deathless the next round..they said I wouldn't..if I recall. The more kills you get. The stronger your unit becomes..but you have to give the hero to someone else. I went 98-0 😎. Cant wait to experience this game again..and I may be the only person buying it regardless of all the nitpickin'.
Actually playing the empire and got the emperor as a hero and played around with that and his lighting, he's actually not awful, just different, still probably my least favourite force user tho

2:45 I actually think Jango Fett is the best blaster hero in the game, not Han Solo (yay, more points for the CIS). Jango's pistol is essentially the OP award pistol. You can zoom in with it, and I think a headshot is an instant kill on anything except other heroes. And you can spam fire it SUPER quickly if you're fighting another hero or if you're dealing with a lot of enemies. I would also much rather have an ammo weapon than a cooldown-based weapon. Granted, if you're playing with the Award weapons enabled, then all the pistol units have access to this OP pistol, but still. And Jango's Time Bombs are the strongest tank buster in the game, even if they're harder to use.
Droideka is so OP because of 2 things : - if u know how to play it it’s reallly good -but the biggest things is that once CSI got it, they MELT the clones like it’s not even funny 10 troopers can die on one of this guy if u don’t intervene
Ngl I've always loved the rebels. For starters they got the only female unit in the game via the rebel marksman, and plus i love playing with the wookiee warrior.
0:59 stormtroopers rifles have a accuracy decrease in comparison to other factions but the highest rate if fire 😱. So try to get more up close, if you can not firing in bursts should help increase your accuracy 🗿. Also the super battle droid balaster has a fire rate decrease but an accuracy increase 😱
A lot of people don’t know that they can double shoot the dark trooper’s arc canister by using the jet pack after the first shot. If you’re on a map with a fairly low ceiling, you can literally shoot>jet pack>shoot and it’s similar to a double pump shotgun in fortnite. You need to know this for the upcoming re release. The Death Star is easily the best map to do this on
“Double pump shotgun in fortnite” Right, because obviously fortnite invented and is the only game ever to have double barreled shotguns. Don’t worry, you don’t have to tell me how old you are, I got it.
@@tempestshadow5152 You must struggle with reading comprehension. I’m not talking about a double barreled shotgun you Neanderthal. I’m talking about a double PUMP shotgun. It’s a mechanism in fortnite where you switch from one shotgun to your other shotgun to bypass the slow rate of fire. The pointer I’m giving for the dark trooper is essentially this same mechanism. You shoot the arc canister faster as the jet pack bypasses the reset on the rate of fire
@@tempestshadow5152 Maybe you’re struggling with reading comprehension at your age and that’s okay I’ll help you out. If you re-read my comment it says “double pump shotgun.” Google will explain it better but it’s basically a mechanism in fortnite where you can bypass the rate of fire on your shotgun by switching to another shotgun. This got abused and they had to take it out of the game. There is a similar mechanism with the dark trooper and that’s what I was explaining.
That is a fair observation, I just feel like the rebel units are just slightly better for example the Botham's regeneration in a group is busted, better than the clone commanders armour buff
I didn’t know the factions have different spread for the main infantry unit, makes me sad the stormtrooper unit has worse accuracy because I really like role playing with the Empire
Here's my ranking 1: Obviously the CIS, they're so overpowered it hurts. Magnaguards are great at destroying stuff and Droidekas are both killing machines and grenade magnets, plus the infamous polis massa bonus, i love playing as Jango and Maul is super OP They also have the best bombers too 2: Empire, probably the worst ships but i love dark troopers which a lot of people underestimates it (his jet is really great for escaping grenades/spies and saving command posts), imperial officer sucks though (if only they replaced that blaster with the "Award Pistol", then maybe he'd be great), Sidious is actually pretty OP if you know what you're doing, though Boba feels like a downgraded Jango Rebels: The bothan spy is a hit or miss, they can be a huge beast or...a disaster, wookie warrior is crazy though. Luke and Han are also pretty great for hero units Republic: Hot take, but the Republic isn't that good, the commander is a bit underwhelmig and honestly i prefer BF1's Jet Trooper (they're pretty much the same, except for the EPM gun, but since BF1 is a more tactical and slow game, Jet Trooper is really handy.)
I would have a different order: 1: CIS (simply the best faction, no downside) 2: GaR (second best as the heroes are awesome too, and they are perfectly balanced) 3: Empire (for me, the dark trooper is way too overpowered, able to destroy any unit in seconds (except for vehicules). imperial commander is a useless unit, except if you love to do suicide run with scout droid Last one: Rebels. bothan spy can be good, but their range is way too short, and they can still be killed quite easily by someone that knows how to spot them. wookie warrior is nice, but its reaction time is too big, leaving it exposed to fire too often. even though rebellion has heroes that are awesome, a single dark trooper can stun lock them into a death loop quite easily.
The emporer is better in this game than the new one. Basically you use him as an arch trooper lightning crowds the saber is just your shield. When fighting a force user use force choke and then slash them before jumping back and shooting lightning if they manage to survive. Hes hit and run not a lightsaber tank like Vader.
Luke as the “best force user” in the game is kinda crazy to me. Especially with Maul in the exact same video, who I believe outshines Luke completely. Maul’s sprint rush can kill a lot more soldiers at once than Luke’s. And his primary attack finish has larger range of knock back than Luke’s; making for a far deadlier combatant against other force users. Force ability wise they’re the same, but dueling wise Maul takes it. Also, Han most def isn’t the best blaster user in the game 😂 Boba Fett outclasses him completely. At close range he can light you up with his flamethrower which slowly eats away at your health. At long range he and Han both have burst rounds in their guns (Han with a slightly faster fire rate), but Boba also has rockets with a small AOE. He’s instantly more versatile than Han at range and at close combat. Close range, Han only has detpacks, and considering Boba has a jet pack, the distance can be expanded very quickly to avoid any damage from it. Not to mention with the jet pack he just automatically has way better mobility than Han.
One of the best, Darth maul or Aayla Secura are definitely the best force users, good base attacks, good jump attacks, awesome sprints, saber throw (things luke has) but to give it to Secura, force pull can wreck in a 1v1
@@Dankakin-SkyWalker- Haha yeah, no worries. Everyone is good with different people in games anyway, and I still prefer characters like Maul myself lol
I think the Republic might belong in the number 2 slot just because every one of their heroes is an honestly really good lightsaber hero, making them an incredible choice for Galactic Conquest. I’d love to see a video where you compare more vehicles than just the dropship though. Because that would be interesting see how it plays into the rankings
I think with the Emperor you need to just get good tbh. He's not like most heroes with a focus on saber combat. His strength is in his force capabilities. Really I only use his saber when multiple enemies are present just because of how much of a range he has. You bring valid points though and I respect why the Empire is last. I can tell you really love the game, though. You've found how to skillfully use wookies and clone commandos. That's where I need to get good 😂
I question sbd's being the best trooper unit actually. Sure they go hard offensively when they do, but defensively its probably the safest and easiest unit to headshot in the entire game. Their head being in their torso makes it childsplay to hit and thier wristrockets being a linear attack makes them rather predictable and only really good at chokepoints.
I feel you. I like the Imperials the most although I know they have the worst faction. If the following things were changed, I think the Imperials would be much more competitive: 1. Fix the Stormtrooper E-11. Spreads too much over longer distances. 2. Fix the Imperial Officer. Replace their Sonic Blaster with the pistol.
My favorite: 1: CIS 2: Republic 3:Empire 4:Rebel Alliance - they are easier to play than clones and stormtroopers, because they use camo - white, shining armor was a very bad idea (and best target) Also, their units are strong, but other factions have more interesting toys, vehicles and visually looks better.
This is also how I would order in terms of favour, (switch CIS with republic) but I do love the camo element with the rebels, but i do find their vehicles especially the alliance tank somewhat lackluster
I'd say Rebels are the worst on account of the AI's obsession with shooting corpses leaves them open to having entire groupa die to a single grenade. I believe that CIS also have by far the best bomber in the game, while rebels have by far the worst one.
That Hyena Bomber is one of the best ships in any multi-player game 💣
@@SquibbeyJenkins when I play republic or rebels on space - I always invade enemy hangar to steal CIS and imp bomber.
Yeah the rebel bomber is mid, but personally I prefer the Republic bomber
@@Dankakin-SkyWalker- cuz shotgun main weapon?
I think the Republic gunship has limited missiles because of a line in Episode 2 where a clone pilot says 'We are out of missiles' or something like that to Anakin while piloting this type of gunship. Like, they tried to stay true to the source and added it as a mechanic to the game
That would be ridiculous but funny if true. Maybe it’s to encourage people to actually land in the enemy hangar.
That's pretty cool actually, kinda like how Anakin never meets with Grevous in the clone wars because of one line in revenge of the sith
1:00 Something about the basic storm trooper shooting off center really quickly is extremely fitting considering all the jokes about them missing all the time
It is, it's so cool that each factions basic Trooper has accuracy accustomed to what their aim is like in the movies and such, amazing detail
“Stormtroopers also seem to shoot off center”. That’s not a con. That’s a massive pro for the game having lore accurate stormtroopers.
Kinda sucks for balancing tho.
CIS absolutely destroys other factions in BF1 and 2. The Droideka is just too much, insanely overpowered.
Droidekas are so fun. I remember them so much as a kid, on both sides haha. CIS is obviously number one😎
Yeahh the CIS are overpowered, I'd like to play them against the Rebellion or the empire tbh
Respect for calling the Rebels space terrorists
to be fair the empire deserves it
I kinda agree
Darth Maul was just always s beast when you were using him.
Also CIS had the best bomber out of all the factions. I loved it so much.
I think you downplayed just how good the CIS are in Galactic Conquest since they start with SBD's for free
I am aware of this, I am working on a video where I played galactic conquest as the Republic without any other units or bonuses, they're a pain
The emperor is the most busted hero in the game because of that
Dooku can also do this.
Yes it lets your stamina meter recharge for some reason, but idk it just feels cheap, they HAVE to patch that out for online when they release the classic collection tho
Yes, Dooku is probably my favourite force user in the game tbh, it's a crying shame he's only playable on Geonosis and hero assault
Just like the reboot
But for basic troops he is insanely good
The emperor has the best jump attack in the game. A complete AOE that devastates everybody!😂
CIS thanks you for such a high rating
The CIS have me welcome
On PS2 there’s a glitch with the Rebel’s LAAT where its particle cannon/torpedos aren’t sighted correctly, and don’t shoot where you’re aiming. Which is really weird since it’s the same ship the Republic uses, and the Republic version doesn’t have that issue.
That's pretty interesting, I wouldn't know about this because I never played the rebels when I was a kid on PS2
Doesn't the CIS also have the passive buff of not taking damage on the outside part of polis massa?
Yes, as shown when I blew up an AAT as the manga guard, cool detail as they don't have to breathe
Brilliant video - CIS supremacy! I can't wait to replay Classic Battlefront / Battlefront II when the collection comes out
Glad you enjoyed, me too can't wait for the classic collection 👌
Maul is also the best saber hero in the game with his throw hitbox being so wide as it is.
IMO
1. CIS
2 Empire
3. Republic
4. Rebels
The CIS and Empire have some of the best vehicles in the game.
Id rank them like this:
That's fair tbh, the corpse shooting and the Republic always having good heros are good points , they're always lightsaber heroes as well im sure
Jeez didn't know the Radiation Launcher was so good
It is, it's always a 1 shot on soldiers and messes up tanks
Always loved the CIS's aesthetic and they have the best vehicles
I wish this upcoming classic collection allowed us to have different factions going at it. Like the story did with the CIS vs the Empire, or Empire vs the Republic
For real, like even if they add it a few months down the line as paid DLC I'd be overjoyed at that
I personally like the droids and the clones
Same, clone wars > galactic civil war
You're definitely using Palps wrong. His melee is a backup, his real weapon is force lightning. The man is basically a roided out dark trooper. Camp a corner or chokepoint and zzap entire waves of enemies. Easily the best hero that isn't 'press RMB to saber throw (win)'.
Yeahhhh this is the 100th time I've been told this. I must get a palpatine video out soon and correct this XD
Also, don’t forget that jump hover and slam lightning move. Legions born and died by that move.
I think about this. How that attack of the clones line: "We are out of rockets sir" is the reason why Republic gunships are limited on missles
That's actually kinda hilarious, kinda like how in the clone wars anakin never meets with Grevous because of one line from revenge of the sith
exactly lol @@Dankakin-SkyWalker-
Everyone also sleeps on the magnaguard's neuro posion ability too. That thing is op! If you land it on a group of enemies they're all going to die no matter how much health they have
CIS for the win. They are the best faction in the game.
roger roger
Absolutely, and it's not even close, especially since they go against the Republic
Very fair ratings. Apt analysis. Thanks for sharing!
Cheers, glad you enjoyed it 👌
Edit: Just my opinion
4 = Rebels because of missions where vehicle advantage for Empire is numerous (Endor) allow to be pinned down very early in game.
Now if teams could fight each other in what-ifs like rebels v droids defending on Hoth:
4 = Rebels
3 = Clones
2 = Empire
1 = Droids
@@Dankakin-SkyWalker- I will admit it has happened on occasion.
Whenever I play empire it always happens at least a handful of times
Also the B1 battle droids of the CIS (heavy, enginer, sniper and marine) have a smaller hitbox compare to their counterparts.
Honestly only just remembered how much harder to headshot B1's
CIS main battle tank, the AAT, is my favorite ground vehicle, albeit clunky. Republic is a close second in terms of ground vehicles while the Empire is either fun on Hoth or copying Republic tanks. And rebel vehicles are somewhere between absolutely fun and trash. The rebellion cut funds on quality tanks in favor of mass peoducing rockets and spamming them all over the place. It's sheer devastation.
That's fair enough, I do agree with that, but the AAT is definitely the best standard tank unit
The Emperor is genuinely terrible. He's pretty much the opposite of how he is in the lore. The only thing he has going for him is a glitch where you can force choke someone, then switch to force lightning while still choking to use both at the same time.
yeah i mean you kinda have to abuse force powers as emperor, which is also lore accurate!
Slight differences yes, but I thought the only one worth mentioning was the tri-shot
Yeah I would LOVE cross era, I've wanted that ever since I first played it on PS2 when i was like 8, would be dream come true
Didn't want to believe this at first but you have very sound logic friend. Great video.

I think I’m the only person on earth that likes the empire
The CIS is also op in the first game.
The rebels are visually unappealing, but CIS is definitely the best.
Yeah rebels are basically designed like realistic military, which compared to clone troopers stormtroopers and battle droids is kinda meh
I like how the Rebels have so many unique uniforms for different planets
You’re not using the Emperor correctly. While his saber is lacking, his force lighting can net you countless kills. It’s like mauls saber but at range.
CIS is def the best though. Between Droidekas, B2s, their vehicles, Maul AND Grievous… you have everything you need to wipe.
100% one of the BEST crowd control force users in the game. his jump attack is a spammable AoE on top of the fact his dash attack is an instant 100-0. Sidios always despised sabers and prefered his raw power and command of the Force, and that is perfectly reflected in how he plays.
I think Jango fett is the best hero in the CIS. if used correctly he rips
@@RONALDDELPERidk about best. Maybe beast non force user. I do think he is def better than Han.
Yes, I was using him wrong, I actually played about with him using his sprint attack, jump attack and lightning more and he's actually not half bad, lightsaber should be used as more of a blocking tool

Will do, I'll shout you out at the beginning of that video when it gets made for the idea 👌
If you use the E-11 properly then shot for shot it can be incredibly deadly. I find myself tapping for single shots and doing short bursts with it. Once you get yourself into a habit of shooting like that you rarely ever miss.
I love the clones but the CIS in this game are absolutely goated
Short video with good information quality and chilling soundtrack... Nice one!
Awesome, glad you like the vid style 👍
I agree with putting the CIS faction at the top, but I tried to post on Twitter that the CIS are the best faction and Elon banned me for using a slur 💔

@hermos3602 too right buddy
Ive unironicly only ever played the CIS theyre so fun😌
That's fair, they are really fun to play, they're just so powerful and awesome visually
@@Dankakin-SkyWalker- yeah!
I also remember the CIS having the best bomber ships, though maybe that was just personal preference?
They have my second favourite bomber after the Republic bomber, but it's a bigger target and easier to shoot at which gives the Republic bomber the advantage to me
isnt republic bomber the one with worst weapon?

Droideka and B2 combo for the CIS is just unfair with the clones. But GAR is the favorite
Yeah droidekas are absolutely busted, but nothing a detpack and circling with a shotgun can't fix, FOR THE REPUBLIC
I'd say Republic personally. Their Hero selection is always a lightsaber user on each map and the special units are decent. Rebellion and CIS are great but sometimes you'll get blaster wielding heroes which are great but nowhere near as good as the force users
That's actually a really good point, can still absolutely tear through with a blaster hero tho if your aim's good
Informative vid ! Once i told a guy who went 13-0 I would go deathless the next round..they said I wouldn't..if I recall. The more kills you get.
That's fair, however Jango has limited ammo, which has stumped me on a couple occasions, but time bombs are absolutely great for tanks
@@Dankakin-SkyWalker- The fetts randomly having limited ammo when none of the other blaster heroes suffer from that is weird
Droideka is so OP because of 2 things :
- if u know how to play it it’s reallly good
-but the biggest things is that once CSI got it, they MELT the clones like it’s not even funny 10 troopers can die on one of this guy if u don’t intervene

Jet Troopers can take down rollies pretty easy

From a purely statistical standpoint yeah id say this objectively correct. This is especially true in bf1 where the factions are far less balanced.

The Death Star is easily the best map to do this on
underrated comment

Rebels have good uniques, but I still think the tactical mobility of jet trooper and the clone commander NOT being a bad unit makes the clones #2
That is a fair observation, I just feel like the rebel units are just slightly better for example the Botham's regeneration in a group is busted, better than the clone commanders armour buff
Cis has always been the best faction since the original battlefront.
Definitely, they absolutely kick ass
I didn’t know the factions have different spread for the main infantry unit, makes me sad the stormtrooper unit has worse accuracy because I really like role playing with the Empire
I think it's neat, but somewhat unbalanced
Here's my ranking
1: Obviously the CIS, they're so overpowered it hurts. Magnaguards are great at destroying stuff and Droidekas are both killing machines and grenade magnets, plus the infamous polis massa bonus, i love playing as Jango and Maul is super OP
They also have the best bombers too
2: Empire, probably the worst ships but i love dark troopers which a lot of people underestimates it (his jet is really great for escaping grenades/spies and saving command posts), imperial officer sucks though (if only they replaced that blaster with the "Award Pistol", then maybe he'd be great), Sidious is actually pretty OP if you know what you're doing, though Boba feels like a downgraded Jango
Rebels: The bothan spy is a hit or miss, they can be a huge beast or...a disaster, wookie warrior is crazy though. Luke and Han are also pretty great for hero units
Republic: Hot take, but the Republic isn't that good, the commander is a bit underwhelmig and honestly i prefer BF1's Jet Trooper (they're pretty much the same, except for the EPM gun, but since BF1 is a more tactical and slow game, Jet Trooper is really handy.)
That's fair tbh, but I agree the dark trooper does give you a huge advantage as the empire, and Boba is just a worse Jango I agree
I would have a different order:
1: CIS (simply the best faction, no downside)
2: GaR (second best as the heroes are awesome too, and they are perfectly balanced)
3: Empire (for me, the dark trooper is way too overpowered, able to destroy any unit in seconds (except for vehicules). imperial commander is a useless unit, except if you love to do suicide run with scout droid
Last one: Rebels. bothan spy can be good, but their range is way too short, and they can still be killed quite easily by someone that knows how to spot them. wookie warrior is nice, but its reaction time is too big, leaving it exposed to fire too often. even though rebellion has heroes that are awesome, a single dark trooper can stun lock them into a death loop quite easily.
I do agree with you, but the Wookie warrior and Botham spy (especially with his regeneration effect) put the Rebels above the Republic for me
The emporer is better in this game than the new one. Basically you use him as an arch trooper lightning crowds the saber is just your shield. When fighting a force user use force choke and then slash them before jumping back and shooting lightning if they manage to survive. Hes hit and run not a lightsaber tank like Vader.
Fair points but the only way I can really play him if I ever do is by abusing the force choke ability and sprint attacking groups of soldiers
The emperor has the best jump attack in the game. A complete AOE that devastates everybody!😂
I know I've now said 100 times the emperor is good I was just crap 😂
Might make an emperor centered video at some stage to address this, it seems I've caused a disturbance in the force
@@Dankakin-SkyWalker- Haha yeah, no worries. Everyone is good with different people in games anyway, and I still prefer characters like Maul myself lol

I enjoyed the music and on-screen text. It's a good change from ADHD personalities.
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it :)
Great video you should keep doing OG BF2 content until it comes out
Absolutely, I've got quite a few videos lined up for the near future
I think with the Emperor you need to just get good tbh. He's not like most heroes with a focus on saber combat. His strength is in his force capabilities. Really I only use his saber when multiple enemies are present just because of how much of a range he has. You bring valid points though and I respect why the Empire is last.
I can tell you really love the game, though. You've found how to skillfully use wookies and clone commandos. That's where I need to get good 😂
"inhales": FOR THE REPUBLIC!!!
"ELIMINATE THE AAT!!!"
Empire and CIS have the best vehicles in my opinion. AT-AT for the win!!
Oh definitely, the AT-AT is busted
darth mail was so fun to play at mustafar
Darth mail goes hard as frick
But yeah you can win by getting all the command posts easily on Mustafar with him
I question sbd's being the best trooper unit actually. Sure they go hard offensively when they do, but defensively its probably the safest and easiest unit to headshot in the entire game. Their head being in their torso makes it childsplay to hit and thier wristrockets being a linear attack makes them rather predictable and only really good at chokepoints.
My favorite is the Republic, my second favorite is the Empire, and my third favorite is the CIS.
Can you rank each faction classes and explain which and why it's better
That's actually a neat idea, when that video gets made I'll credit you for the idea 👍
Very solid list.
Cheers glad you like 👍👍
Also has the balls to go into battle dressed as a blueberry tart. Thanks for making my day!
Don't forget that the CIS has the bomber with the fastest proton bomb discharge
Yes, the CIS bomber is my favourite after the Republic one
I feel you. I like the Imperials the most although I know they have the worst faction. If the following things were changed, I think the Imperials would be much more competitive:
1. Fix the Stormtrooper E-11. Spreads too much over longer distances.
2. Fix the Imperial Officer. Replace their Sonic Blaster with the pistol.
Empire actually my favorite faction lol
My favorite:
1: CIS
2: Republic
3:Empire
4:Rebel Alliance - they are easier to play than clones and stormtroopers, because they use camo - white, shining armor was a very bad idea (and best target)
Also, their units are strong, but other factions have more interesting toys, vehicles and visually looks better.
This is also how I would order in terms of favour, (switch CIS with republic) but I do love the camo element with the rebels, but i do find their vehicles especially the alliance tank somewhat lackluster
