@@Emanouche 1st source was from a biologist, not a climatologist. 2nd source source is the exact same as the 1st source, not sure why they posted it twice 3rd source was from a chemist, again not a climatologist 4th source was from an ecologist, not a climatologist. 5th source was quickly debunked by stephen schieder in his paper, later stating that aerosols(Which were the driving force for the cooling effect in their paper) as poorly understood. Several other papers reached the same conclusion that we still had a lot to learn about aerosols effects on climate. However, his paper did accurately predict a 0.5C increase in global temperature due to CO2. Funny how your source failed to mention this. 6th source That seems taken out of context without the Brown University conference discussion. The main theme of this conference was about the present interglacial. Which, in case you are unaware, yes we are in a interglacial period. George Kukla himself thought the Earth's recent warming was mostly natural and would eventually lead to a new ice age. Then again, he was a geologist and not a climatologist. Not really an expert when it comes to the climate of the Earth. 7th source Not sure what is true in that article since it labels George Kukla as a climatologist now, even though I cannot find any scientific source that called him a climatologist, except for media. 8th source Again, it uses George Kukla, talk about cherry picking. It as well uses meteorologist data, weather patterns and climate patterns are not the same thing. 9th source This was about what COULD result from the ozone layer receding. Not what WILL happen. It even states in the paper itself that these are estimates and that proper studies need to be conducted. 10th source Not sure why they are showing a chart from data collected about the ozone hole in the antarctic. That's not a prediction lol 11th source Same source as source 5, are they having problems cherrypicking sources that they have to resort to reusing previous sources? 12th-13 sources I'm not really sure why they used that study about acid rain when several other government studies were conducted, which concluded acid rain can indeed kill fish. Even the EPA states that fish can die from acid rain, it just depends on the type of fish in the water. Again, this is cherrypicking 14th source The website for it currently is experiencing problems, will get back to this source when I can 15th source Hmm wonder what would happen if they instead looked at the atmosphere in the higher atmosphere. Its' almost like they ignored it because it debunks the argument. 16th I wonder why they left out the droughts in the midwest and southeastern US and instead used a graph from the upper midwest. The midwest did experience a drought in 2012, like Hansen predicted. There was also a flash drought in 2019 in the southeastern US. This looks like cherrypicking again, espically when you consider Hansen didn't say upper midwest but talked specifically about the midwest and southeastern US. 17th source Oh look it's Hansen again with more cherry picking. In this prediction, he had 3 scenarios. Scenario B Closely matched what occured, but he also got the temperature increase very accurate. His B scenario the temperature between 0.6-0.7C. Almost spot on, the paper they used for their source was copied from another newspaper (WSJ I think) which removed the other senarios. Again, cherrypicking 18th source A scientist isn't even listed, instead it's a government bureaucrat. This isn't a prediction made by a scientist. 19th source Again, not a prediction made by a climate scientist 20th source This is anecdote and cannot be confirmed, plus the name isn't even right. You would think if you met another person and talked to them several times you would at least get their name right. It's James Hansen, not Jim Hansen. Taking this with a huge grain of salt. 21st source The problem with this graph is it disregards the surface temperature of the Earth, the most important data set 22nd source No cited research for the prediction, no one should've listened the prediction to begin with and is yet again, cherrypicking. Since the rest of the article has no other quotes from scientists. I could keep going and I'm probably not going to find the same problems. If you really want me to continue, just respond to this comment.

Life most certainly came from organic materials spewed out of Hydrothermal Vents at the bottom of the ocean like adenine, guanine, cytosine, and thymine, which are all Carbon-based, and in the right conditions which Hydrothermal Vents have, can, and will cause these molecules to fuse and bond into organized structures which we call DNA and RNA, the DNA encodes information through the order, or sequence, of the nucleotides along each strand, almost the same thing with RNA, and for these structures to be created you need heat and of course organic material like I said.

Weezy Almon Sure nobody “has to”’ agree with any given scientific theory but if they wish to overthrow a scientific theory (and by theory, I mean a system of ideas which explains observations and known facts, backed by evidence and experiments, that is repeatable and makes accurate predictions about the real world), then they have to use science and the scientific method to do so. They have to understand what it is they are trying to disprove at a deep and fundamental level. Simply declaring, for example, that evolution and heliocentric theory are false with nothing to back the claim makes anyone who does it a science denying idiot.

According to most scientists, we've passed the tipping points have done irreparable damage to the atmosphere. It's already too late. Another 100, maybe 200 years humans will most likely have completely destroyed the ozone.
@@thisguyy I'm glad they yet again pushed the predictions, but 100 to 200 years from now so we won't be alive to call on their bullshit when once again it does not happen. 😁 cei.org/blog/wrong-again-50-years-failed-eco-pocalyptic-predictions
Agreed. Heavy and undeniably unfortunate. The last couple generations have really regressed. Poor guy was trying to push progress and this is what he gets in return for his efforts. Such a shame.
@@Emanouche 1st source was from a biologist, not a climatologist.
2nd source source is the exact same as the 1st source, not sure why they posted it twice
3rd source was from a chemist, again not a climatologist
4th source was from an ecologist, not a climatologist.
That's not a prediction lol
11th source Same source as source 5, are they having problems cherrypicking sources that they have to resort to reusing previous sources?
12th-13 sources I'm not really sure why they used that study about acid rain when several other government studies were conducted, which concluded acid rain can indeed kill fish. Even the EPA states that fish can die from acid rain, it just depends on the type of fish in the water. Again, this is cherrypicking
14th source The website for it currently is experiencing problems, will get back to this source when I can
15th source Hmm wonder what would happen if they instead looked at the atmosphere in the higher atmosphere.
Again, cherrypicking
18th source A scientist isn't even listed, instead it's a government bureaucrat. This isn't a prediction made by a scientist.
19th source Again, not a prediction made by a climate scientist
20th source This is anecdote and cannot be confirmed, plus the name isn't even right. You would think if you met another person and talked to them several times you would at least get their name right. It's James Hansen, not Jim Hansen. Taking this with a huge grain of salt.
21st source The problem with this graph is it disregards the surface temperature of the Earth, the most important data set
22nd source No cited research for the prediction, no one should've listened the prediction to begin with and is yet again, cherrypicking. Since the rest of the article has no other quotes from scientists.
I could keep going and I'm probably not going to find the same problems. If you really want me to continue, just respond to this comment.

I could not understand how anyone could accept science and not accept the earth was a globe. During the debate with him, I could not find any seam in his argument, so it appeared he actually believe the earth was flat.
On the flip side, I find it hard to understand how anyone that accepts science does not accept that the standard scientific procedures laid down by centuries of scientist and their predecessors, to prevent scientific fraud had to be followed. So many people that know that science is real are willing to throw away the procedures when it comes to agw.

@@naprice79 No, it isn't, a belief is trust, faith, or confidence in someone or something, Science is not that, it's based on evidence, and the people who say "Life can't come from nothing" or "The Big Bang cant come from nothing" doesn't understand the science and evidence, like there are reasons for these things happening, stop dick riding the 1st law of thermodynamics and learn how this shit happened, like for the big bang it was probably (mostly believed) that it was caused by Quantum Fluctuations, which can create a lot of energy, and energy can fuse quarks and gluons creating things like protons, and those can fuse to create things like hydrogen and helium.
People saying they hate science make as much sense as saying they hate screwdrivers. Science, like screwdrivers, is a tool that when applied properly can help us learn more about the world than we previously knew.

He might not be a scientist, but he’s a _science guy._
@@nikhillimgala1870 In engineering. But then, engineering relies heavily on science, as it is applied science.

There’s literally a branch of science dedicated to farming and farming patterns
why do so many use the "hes an engineer, not a scientist" cop out reply to their anti-science opinions? just because the guy majored in mechanical engineering means that is all he can be and the only topic on which he can expand upon? he couldnt expand his horizons for the rest of his years among the science community? so if youre a biochemistry major and after you achieved your degree you thought "hmm..im also really into sports medicine, maybe ill look into that too" and you gain a vast knowledge of sports medicine and you go on to give lectures on the importance of stretching, the dangers of head injuries and the like, youre a fraud because your major was in a different field even though you do know what youre talking about when it comes to sports medicine?
Zap Actionsdower He is a political actor over being a scientist
Dig Bick There's actually nothing wrong with LARP, but it's true about the underqualifications of most anti-scientists. Even if Bill wasn't so vastly invested, that degree in mechanical engineering would be enough for me to give him more credit than someone who's unemployed or never saught out the higher education.
Offensive Bias better educated and smarter than you...
Rob Darling Yes because you know everything about me.
Do a Google search of "bill Nye Speed Walker" and you'll see this guy is an actor and the science guy is just his best paying role. He will literally do and say whatever for money.
the people who posted these tweets fell off the tree of life and hit every branch on the way down
they probably convergentally evolved like humans from big slugs with 69 braincells
Amd bill landed on a mattress
That's why they don't have brains, must have hit the bacteria branch first.
I disagree heavily. Who are you to assume they were in the tree to begin with?
The tree of life isn't really science though. It's an imaginary tree that evolutionists made up. I can design an entire circuit board, or computer without ever subscribing to the theory of evolution. It isn't necessary to believe in for any reason, not even in virology.
"dingbaticalness" Bill, I'm using that, thank you

@Martyr4JesusTheChrist lols. I think you should take a re-look at yourself because you just assumed that I am completely idiotic, gullible, unable to think for myself simply for agreeing with a person that I may or may not use a very specific word. You clearly integrated wrong. You clearly are pretentious in your set of knowledge. You clearly don't understand what you read, just know the words you read.
And because of this, it shows you're ignorant to yourself and gullible to just accept things without even questioning or re-thinking your own message you wrote.
Unless you wasn't taking it seriously. In which case, you shouldn't not take it seriously. It is philosophy and meant to be taken seriously when you integrate such information into your knowledge and begin spewing it on to real life examples as you'll gradually adopt those examples as if it truly was an example of the "stupidity" that you read of.
Prick.
Bill Nye roasts people who should’ve been paying attention to Bill nye in school

"Dingbaticleness" is the greatest word ever
I loved Bill Nye as a kid, I have mad respect for him as an adult.
He was in one science show, and now he's qualified to be a scientist.
@@Trillion_Dollar_Extreme well being in a kids show doesn’t mean he didn’t have a degree or get one afterwards

That’s a tongue twister!
Anti-Science is the same thing as hating existence.
isn't what he is doing in this video antiscience? isn't the scientific method testing something over and over again with single variable changes to discover different things?
Truly Infamous no, because I hate living but I'm all for supporting science

I hate existence, but I love science xD
TokenOtaku no I don’t do drugs, I just don’t like existing. Me not existing doesn’t mean there’s no science but I already exist so I guess I’ll exist. My comment meant my own existence, not just existence in general like other people’s existence
