Every time, you seem to come out with another banger! May I recommend "Poverty Knock", it's a British socialist song, which feels rather fitting looking at this totally great island over the past few years
The american accent is noticeable but more than made up for by your great style and energy. Super enthusiastic and inspiring, though you do other songs well too.
the refrain reminds me of one of Robbie Burns' pieces. a man's a man for a' a that... I went and looked it up, and it's the same song! Might be worth covering the original too..
Nice work, as usual, comrade! I suggest checking out the Italian anarchist/socialist song “Stornelli d’Esilio”, it’s quite famous, yet I don’t really know how much it is so, it could be quite a nice niche song to do
It's from 1843, and then modified during the revolutions of 1848. The lyrics & tune are inspired by the Scottish poem "A Man's a Man for A' That" by Robbie Burns.
“You hinder us, yet you don’t compel us- the world is ours, despite all that!”
Beautiful and true.
You’ve been doing a lot of good German songs so I was wondering when this one was coming
Honestly I've always just known the Hannes Wader version from like the 70's or 80's. Nice to listen to the original.
Hannes Wader has an original version of the song, I think it's on Hannes Wader: Volkssänger, with "Die Freie Republik" and "Das Bürgerlied"

Can you do Yma O Hyd?
Einmal werden wir frei sein von unseren Ketten, ewig kann nicht Winter sein!

Might I suggest a song called "Rise up the starry plough"?
Es ist an der Zeit by Hannes Wader would also be cool
I'm trying to find some history on this song, and Google is being useless. Any help?

Do you speak all or some of these languages, that you sing your songs in?
...it’s still you
Not first
