How beautiful you are. I went to camp with my 3 children for years, and was going to camp as young as 10. (84 now). God is good. Lawrence, please take care of yourself. You are a treasure that cannot be replaced.❤

I devoted a large portion of my life to working with kids and I knew exactly the feelings you were trying to relate. Working with kids is not for everyone. Takes a lot of patience and love but the blessings returned are something special; something you cannot obtain anywhere else. God bless you my friend and God bless your ministry. The best way to know when it’s gonna rain is watch your cattle… if they all lay down in your pasture that’s a good sign… and if they bunch up in a corner of your pasture it’s another sign as well.
It’s wonderful how God encourages us to do things outside our comfort zones. And that experience changes us forever. Praise our Lord & savior.❤

Meredith, loved your camp wrap up. Glad you were able to attend and experience it all with your kids and all.
My two boys did church summer camps and they came back with the best stories. They loved it all and I loved how God worked in them. They are now in their 40's and those experiences at camp have helped them through some tough times in their latter years. It's so worth it to send them and I'm glad you got to go see it all happen. That age group , and you are right, can really teach you a lot.

We all have a lot to be thankful for. Sometimes we think we have it hard. But it says in the Bible that we are to make our living by the sweat of our brow. I’m thankful for my health that the good Lord gives me every day so I’m able to work every day. I hope you and your family keep making the videos. I watch them religiously. You guys are so down to earth and I like it when Lawrence tells his old time stories it brings back memories. God bless your family.
I still remember my church camp experiences and that was a long time ago. God is so good and faithful. I have done some outings with my mens group as well and God has done some amazing things through those experiences. It always takes some time to process those experiences which is a good thing in my view. My boys and I have wonderful memories of our camping experiences as will the three of you. Thanks for sharing.

The last few videos have left me with a heaviness in my soul, and I have to ask you a personal question.
Is Lawrence a born-again believer? With the challenges y'all have had, I can sense the anxiety and lack of God's peace, strength, and joy. I maybe wrong. I'm concerned, especially if things don't ease up.
I hope and pray that our Lord's Hand moves in your lives.

Great memories of my church camp in Glen Rose, TX growing up. My mother also went there when she was a child. There are dinosaur tracks in the stone riverbed there which is really cool.
Hope you all have a great camp experience, we went to Ridgecrest several years with our kids and youth groups loved it.
Our youth camp started up in the Northern Colorado Mountains and every other day we moved south along the Eastern range to the Southern Colorado Mountains 🏞️

you are a strong lady and a fighter, nothing comes easy, you are a great lady and you have a great family, never look back, kids are growing up and helping, and there will be a time for everything, you and Lawrence need a full day or couple for a break call it a weekend break, go fishing, go the river, just both, it can be managed, the kids will manage the feeding and the farm stuff, be strong and be safe

I live in and was born in Wise, Va. 74 years ago. It is a great small town in the Appalachian mountains. I suspect the camp in Wise is Camp Bethel which is about 5 minutes from my house. Camp Bethel has been operating as long as I can remember. In November 2007 I was baptized at Camp Bethel lake and we had to break ice in order to conduct the baptism. I can’t believe that you and the kiddos are going to be in my hometown.

I spent every summer in Wise VA with my cousins, it is a small town. The town next to it is Norton VA and there is a place call Flag Rock. You can see an American flag 🇺🇸 on the rock way up the mountain. The road to it is very curvy 😳 we had family reunions up there.
My mom was born and raised there in Norton.

As a farmer's daughter and a farmer's wife. I do not understand why those fileds are plowed/turned over before planting.. it boggles my mind. We plant some fields without rows, just as you do, but we turn the earth prior to that.

I've grown alfalfa all my life around 400 acres a year, we either bale at night 18 to 28 % with an inoculant to prevent mold and wrap everything over 25%

We raise alfalfa here in idaho but we get up to four cuttings and we bale at night for the moisture
