New Holland wasn't in the budget, but we didn't get to see the Massey Ferguson 690, and their Perkins engine is bullet proof. Maine is very beautiful, and the drive relaxing.
I live in Western New York but grew up two miles from the New Holland dealership you stopped at . It was a Farmall dealer when I left 40 years ago . I was married in the church that you said “ it’s pretty right here with the church “
Dog gone ya. You dragged me out into the middle of nowhere and didn't even show me the tractor we went to go look at. Love to hear you say "Praise The Lord!"
The two of you were like children in the candy store at the New Holland dealership.😀 It is so refreshing to see how passionate you are about farming. Well done.
I have heard that Maine is one the most beautiful states. Your videos are showing it is true. The right tractor will come at the right time. Brent is a really good boss you are very fortunate. God bless you both.
It is a very pretty state with many different types of scenery. Yes hopefully soon we’ll find the perfect tractor for us! I agree, I’m lucky to have such a great boss! Thanks so much 😀
Would love to send you guys some pics of my farm and cows here in michigan i have exchanged my number with a coue farmers we send each other pics what we are doing some people dont like to do that not very good at this phone crap how else could we do it
Tractor shopping is always fun. I watched your video from my 35 year old tractor in between cutting and tedding while I ate lunch. Enjoyed the road trip.
I love all that farm talk as you drive along. "look at that field, those apples are ready to be picked, oh that's some nice corn, there's a dairy farm" etc. People talk about things that they are living. Very interesting. And a nice, exciting trip to the tractor dealer. Something city people know nothing about. The world is such an interesting place, such diversity of careers etc. I used to work on a dairy farm when I was a kid. Cleaning those old Surge milkers twice a day, what a chore that was!! I remember it well.
Ah, yes. Going to see a thirty-five-year old tractor using an early Twentieth Century GPS system. I do keep a road atlas in the car for the (rare) cases when modern GPS radio signals fade or the battery in the smart phone runs out of charge, which is something a paper map atlas can't do. That's the upside. The downside is my atlas is a bunch of years old and roads seem to have a habit of changing for what ever reason. . .
Your new calf is cute, hope she grows up to be a great milker. Looking at tractors is as fun as looking at trucks. Neighbor had Massey Tractors from the 1970s and 1980s the tractors are still running the people that bought the farm and turned it from a dairy to a winery still use the Masseys. All makes have issues and some tractors are better than others in each brand. The Perkins engines are pretty stout. Good to see someone else that still knows how to use a map. Been a few years since I have been to Maine nice to see the scenery, some of Maine is much like the southern Wisconsin. That rolling terrain from the glaciers dumping material as they thawed is nice to drive in. Hope you all stay safe and healthy.
Taylor, you really looked at home in that New Holland tractor. Maybe Brent will wrap it up and put it under your Christmas tree. 😊 We visited Maine about 12 years ago and loved the scenery and I really enjoy seeing it again your videos. 🌲
I grew up in morrill maine, on a dairy farm, my dad bought a tractor from that dealership when it was ingrahams, when it was a international dealer, I enjoy your videos, I live in southern maine now, seeing that area brings back alot of memories
The road trip was fun. Maine looks a lot like northern Michigan. I think you're better off buying an older tractor than a new one. There is the constant worry of those computers making your work harder, not easier. Good luck raising the replacement livestock!!
Glad you enjoyed the ride, I’ve been hearing that it’s similar to Michigan from quite a few people. Im with you older tractor with no computer is the way to go( even though the new ones are SO nice) 😉. Thanks so much and have a wonderful evening!
Hey Taylor, I would have loved to have seen the tractor Y'all were looking at, Hint Hint...next time maybe LOL I would love to have a Newer tractor for my place, I just can't justifiy the cost even for a used small Tractor. I have seen some of the prices for brand new ones, Oh My God, Almost need to be a Millionare. Nice to dream. Enjoyed your video, Thanks for sharing.
Hi, maybe we’ll actually buy one next time and have something to show! I know what you mean pretty hard to buy a new one when there are plenty of good used ones that are much more affordable 😟. Glad you enjoyed!
Beautiful drive through the countryside. Thank you for sharing it! You looked great sitting in that NH !! I like that brand. I have a TD 5050. I hope you all can find a good tractor that will work for you. Please stay safe and God bless !!! Eddy
Beaureguard in Knox? Haven't been there since it was Ingraham equipment, seldom get down that way. Anderson makes a decent wrapper, I've got the automated one, 600 iirc. I've been tractor shopping, not much decent in our neck of the woods. Good luck.
I am loving your videos. Awesome job. I spent my formative years as a youth on a large horse farm in southern Wisconsin baling hay and tending to farm animals. The best years of my life. Keep the vids coming please......im becoming a farmer groupie lololol
Nice tractor. We had a New Holland tractor at work. Loved it. It was older, maybe late 90's not sure. These new tractors would require a college education to work em. First major tractor I drove on was a 80s Kubota diesel. I grew around Ford tractors and John Deer. The Ford was my dad's tractor. Noone at his job wanted to use it. It had no cab on it, just a black vinyl seat. I think it was originally an old farm tractor. Think late 60's or early 70's. Awesome video. ❤
... thx for the tour around the countryside .... only problem with those new tractors is they have computers. Computers are not the problem, the sensors are what give grief and part of the grief is that they require def and the sensors that regulate that ...... had a chuckle with the map across the steering wheel, thought everything was on google maps pins .... thx for the share .. as always .. never stop dreaming, ust dream bigger .. have fun be safe, save our oceans .....
I worked for the county DOT on a temp basis, they had a new holland in the shop on jack stands when I got there, they couldnt find the part for it, and it was still sitting there 7 months later when I left.
Cool video. I enjoyed the ride along. Good luck on the tractor hunt. They sure do have some fancy tractors out there. Keep making these videos and you will have a new tractor before you know it. You two have a good week.
Hi, we’ve definitely been striking out on the tractor end but at least the weather is finally cooperating! Thanks so much and you have a wonderful week ahead too!
Whatever tractor you find I hope you are well satisfied with it and you get good service from it. Be patient and keep looking and the right tractor will come along.
Good luck tractor shopping, it sure is fun. Ive been told by my wife that if I get another one Ill be sleeping in the shed with it. You cant go wrong with Masseys with the perkins diesels, I had a White 2-105 with a 354 perkins and wish I had kept it. Loved the sandwiches too, those out of the way places are the best.
Hi Taylor our fair just ended yesterday here in Indiana Pennsylvania and I seen a Massy yesterday and thought of you right of the bat. I seen it and thought "Hey Taylor uses one of those"
I like it Brent using a map, Old School for sure. Sure be nice to get a brand new tractor. Maybe someday, you always can finance it. Just so much money!
Definitely adds to the adventure! 😅. I know what you mean, it sure would be nice to have new but it’s hard to justify the price! Thanks so much for watching 😀
Hi Taylor thanks for sharing another awesome video, Brent and yourself on a road trip, what beautiful scenery on your trip. That New Holland tractor looked good on you, very impressive for a small tractor. Will you be getting rid of the Kubota when you get the new tractor?.The weather looked great hope you managed to get your hay. Thanks again take care and stay safe 👍 😊.
Hi, thanks for watching. It certainly was a fun trip even though we didn’t come home with a tractor😂 No the Kubota will probably stay, it’s been a very reliable old girl! We did finally get some haying done, thanks again!!
HI Taylor, I thought I was reading the description wrong. A new tractor would be a dream come true, but Brent is not a new equipment bloke. Updating one of the old tractors would be good cause of all the problems and repairs you had this year. The decision to have calves means you will need to have a barn for them and I can see you really enjoying being their 'mum'. Thanks for the video. Chris from Australia 🇦🇺.
Hey Taylor, I was wondering what an Italian was. Thanks for showing a pic. Down here in the Texas panhandle John Deere is king. That green paint sure is expensive though. I would say CaseIH is next , then Kubota in the order of popularity. New tractor shopping is an expensive proposition. No need to apologize about the shirt. Hard to eat or drink in a truck bumping around on country roads. Thanks for sharing some video of beautiful Maine. Nice to see something green. We haven’t had a rain since middle of July.
Hi Taylor. New Holland tractor looked good. Does the dealer do demoes. Is there a Massey dealer nearby. Check out their 5S 125 perfect for cutting and baling. Have a beautiful weekend.
Thanks for another great video. You looked like you were in heaven while sitting in the cab of the New Holland tractor. I didn’t understand why Brent was using a map when I’m sure you both or have a cell phone and could have used Google maps or Apple Maps to show you the way to see the Massey Ferguson tractor. Again, thanks for another informative and entertaining video. Already looking forward to the next one.
Thanks for joining us, it was such an awesome experience!! Love tractors if ya can’t tell😂. We like to do thing the old fashioned way 😃. I’m glad you enjoyed watching hope to see ya again soon!
I really hope someday Taylor that you and Brent can get and have all the nice and necessary equipment you need. You both are amazing and fabulous in all that you put your hands to and deserves the best in everything and life. God bless and best wishes to both of you. Regards from ireland Patrick Brazil.
Sounds like that Massey might be a good rig. Hey im not a Massey guy, but the White tractors with Perkins diesels are solid. Hope yah find something that fits the farm's needs and priced reasonable. Also, cut the wide end of the inflation off and you ccqn slide it over a pail handle if the plastic ones wear out.
Good video Taylor but I would stay away from the new TRACTORS I have a new .. New Holland work master 95 and it's electric over hydrolic but it's a good tractor ... And if you had a nother tractor Brent could rake hay with it lol ... Good video Taylor and Brent ...
Not many women in America get excited about looking at a tractor. Good for you.
It’s one of my favorite things to do! 😅
Or even milking and doing barn chores!
You should've had a cell phone with GPS. Nana, what are told you exactly work to go?
Blonde look better in red tractors 🤣
Not very many men get excited about going to look at tractors me ill go any day.
Best thing about an old tractor is no electic bs to deal with and you don't need a laptop to fix it
Yep, you’re exactly right!
Ha ha sorry!!! It was privately owned so just wanted to be respectful. Definitely wasn’t as nice as the New Holland 😂
No New England farmer has ever gotten lost. They only “get turned around a bit”. 😉
😂 lol that’s a fact!
You are very lucky you have a good boos that take good care of you I like that
Yes very thankful to have such a wonderful boss!
I like the blue one😂road trips are always fun.
Me too, just not the price tag! But definitely fun to dream😀
Nice. Your enthusiasm is charming and generally n ice to see.
Nice New Holland for sure! Dad always liked JD when he was a dairy farmer in the 90’s, I’m a Massey guy myself. JD isn’t what it used to be.
The two of you were like children in the candy store at the New Holland dealership.😀 It is so refreshing to see how passionate you are about farming. Well done.
Ya can’t take us anywhere near tractors or we drool awful over them!😂. Thanks so much!! Hope you enjoy your day!
Nice to see someone happy with their work
Taylor, once again another great video. I'm sure that was a good day. Take care❤
Thank you! You too!
690 production did end in 1986. Massey switched to the 300 series in '87. 690 was rated 65 pto hp. 2900 hours is pretty good for a tractor that age.
Thanks so much 😀
Thats the best way to eat lunch on a nice summer day or on the tail gate in a hay feild or corn feild thats liven
Couldn’t be more perfect!
Would love to send you guys some pics of my farm and cows here in michigan i have exchanged my number with a coue farmers we send each other pics what we are doing some people dont like to do that not very good at this phone crap how else could we do it
Beautiful and healthy calf. Have a great and safe labor day.
Thank you!
What could possibly go wrong, Wrong Turn, hahaha 😆
🤣
Tractor shopping is always fun. I watched your video from my 35 year old tractor in between cutting and tedding while I ate lunch. Enjoyed the road trip.
It sure is, glad to hear your getting some haying done while the weather straightens out! Thanks so much for taking time to watch!

I remember it well.
You make so proud too see a real women working on farms and not scared of getting dirty
Ah, yes. Going to see a thirty-five-year old tractor using an early Twentieth Century GPS system. I do keep a road atlas in the car for the (rare) cases when modern GPS radio signals fade or the battery in the smart phone runs out of charge, which is something a paper map atlas can't do. That would be the best Christmas gift ever!😆 Maine is a very pretty state so glad you enjoy seeing the countryside, thanks for watching!

Thanks Taylor 🙋♂️🐈🐈
So nice he included you in it all
Taylor you and your boss seem to get along great it helps alot when you both can get along, good for you girl

That was a sweet looking tractor. Brent should buy it for you. Love your road trip. Sometimes you have to get away for a short time. God bless.
Great video. Thanks for sharing your adventures.
When I saw your picture sitting in the new tractor, my first thought was that you were at the Farm Progress show in Illinois.
Unfortunately not but I would LOVE to go to a big show like that someday!!
I just found your channel and I love it. It really makes me want to become a farmer and get away from the city life
Welcome! I’m so glad you found us!

Keepin it real Ms. Tay!! hope one day you get that dream tractor!!
Loved the road trip..Maine is beautiful and the sandwiches looked delicious.
I’m glad! It is a very pretty place, and the sandwiches definitely didn’t disappoint 😉
Beautiful drive through the countryside. Thank you for sharing it! You looked great sitting in that NH !! I like that brand. I have a TD 5050. I hope you all can find a good tractor that will work for you. Please stay safe and God bless !!! Eddy

So glad! And thank YOU for watching!
Best day off the farm, have a good day Taylor.

Yup, it hasn’t changed much since then. I’ve heard that Anderson is one of the good ones. Hope you have luck tractor shopping too!
Another enjoyable video 😊
Thanks again!
Not lost. Brent knew exactly where he was and was just making sure the map was correct. Always enjoy your videos and thank you for sharing!
I am loving your videos. Awesome job. I spent my formative years as a youth on a large horse farm in southern Wisconsin baling hay and tending to farm animals. The best years of my life. Keep the vids coming please......im becoming a farmer groupie lololol
U looked very happy sitting in that NH!! The new calf is a cutie! I hope u find a tractor that suits ur needs & is priced right! Stay safe out there!
It sure was a looker of a tractor! Someday we’ll find the perfect one😀. Thanks and have a great week!

You are a rock star , Brent is so blessed to have you! I would give anything to have an employee with you do all style. Don’t work too hard!
Well thank you so much! I always try to take a minute or two to relax 😄
Hi Taylor our fair just ended yesterday here in Indiana Pennsylvania and I seen a Massy yesterday and thought of you right of the bat. I seen it and thought "Hey Taylor uses one of those"
Im glad to helps with u r farm❤🌹🙏
Loved the video, love New Holland tractors.
Anderson wrappers are made in Quebec . Canada
I like it Brent using a map, Old School for sure. Sure be nice to get a brand new tractor. Maybe someday, you always can finance it. Just so much money!

Great to see you and the boss smiling away from the farm
You do a awesome job Taylor keep up the great work hopefully your boss will get a newer tractor 👍
Thanks so much!
@@tayfarms no worries
As we say in Australia 👍

A lot of wows!
A man is never lost. He just hasn't found it yet 🙂🙂
😅
Be nice to have a new tractor. My newest tractor is 23 years old, and my other two are 74 years old.
Bons eram os tempos quando fabricavam coisas que prestavam.
Agora os maquinários não passam de bostas de plástico.
Glad to see you didn't waste your time and money on the new Holland a. Older one is probably a better choice keep up the great work Tay
The new holland is real nice..... but all I want is one of those italian sandwich
😂👍🏻👍🏻
Hey Taylor,
I was wondering what an Italian was.
Wish my wife would be as excited about buying a new tractor.😂
😅 we need people like that to keep our addiction in check!
That’s always fun!
Absolutely! I love seeing different tractors 😄❤️
Hi Taylor. New Holland tractor looked good. Does the dealer do demoes. Is there a Massey dealer nearby. Check out their 5S 125 perfect for cutting and baling. Have a beautiful weekend.
Good Morning Taylor. From one of your friends from Massachusetts. ( Taxachusetts ). Lol
Enjoyed your video have a great day Taylor
That new stuff is nice but you get to run the best of the best a 1066 my dream tractor
The older tractors are better I think. 😊
Bad time to buy a tractor prices are crazy
Have you guys looked at john Deere or White farm Equipment for tractors?
Try staying away from any tractors at have DEF fluid added extra cost to run it also a lot of problems with tractors running
Hey just want to say love your videos. I am from maine
Awesome! Thank you!
I feel bad with dirty fingers - uh, hmmn, check 'dem shoes out! 🥰
Some nice flat land there in Maine.
Nice vid! Just cut em a check!!
Thanks, it’s certainly tempting 😉
I really hope someday Taylor that you and Brent can get and have all the nice and necessary equipment you need. You both are amazing and fabulous in all that you put your hands to and deserves the best in everything and life. God bless and best wishes to both of you. Regards from ireland Patrick Brazil.
Aw that is SO kind of you! You are really so sweet and we feel so blessed to know you all!!!!
Have you ever discussed with Brent the possibility of you buying into the heard with some calves of your own?
when we get up to Maine we would like to buy you that tractor.
I've never seen you smile so big like that!!
What can I say, I LOVE tractors!!😁
Hi there kitty is so adorable

I hope so! And thank you, I really liked it just not the price tag 🫣
disapointed ya didnt show the tractors your looking at nice to see what your looking at for the heck of it probably not that many to choose from
Hi, Enjoy your publication. How did you get involved in dairy farming.? You appear to be extremely knowable and enjoy it.
Thanks
Good video Taylor but I would stay away from the new TRACTORS I have a new .. New Holland work master 95 and it's electric over hydrolic but it's a good tractor ... And if you had a nother tractor Brent could rake hay with it lol ... Good video Taylor and Brent ...
Another great video Tay, love seeing your excitement looking st tractors, as you know I prefer New Holland and love our 3. 😊
Oh yes!
I havent seen someone look at a paper map in quite some time!!! I would love to live someplace where google hasnt visited with that little mapcar!!!
We’re running old school around here ☺️. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
