The same way I make my Thai tea, even the brand of tea leaves. I had a small glass of it five minutes ago. I make it in my coffee maker, though, that’s the only difference. SO SO SO GOOD!!
I love the Pantai brand loose leaf tea he uses! It costs about $5-6 at my local asian supermarket for that one pound of tea. Store in an airtight jar/canister to keep it fresh. I switch up the sweetener for my diabetic family members, so that they can enjoy thai tea too. Thanks for this video!
@@hazeylulu Monkfruit is my favorite to use for baking/cooking applications , Erythritol and allulose are also good choices, although some may find Erythritol or "Swerve" to have a bit of a "minty" taste. Thus I like the monkfruit blend that my HEB grocery store sells, it mixes erythritol and monkfruit in a good ratio that makes it more neutral to taste. This brand of Stevia that I can by in my local grocery store called "Svetia" is the cleanest pure stevia I have ever tried, highly recommend. In a pinch Splenda works fine too. Everyone's taste buds are different, and some are more sensitive to the after taste of each one, some may not sense the after taste at all. I suggest making a small single size portion, taking a little sample and sweetening it a bit with the sweetener of choice and tasting it or whoever will be drinking the sugar-free serving, and choose the sweeter that the prefer. Good luck! To make it richer you can add a little bit of butter and blend well (used in making condensed milk), or just evaporated milk, note the net carbs per volume if you are keto.
OMG ! It’s really so sweet, (waan mak krap ❤) For those who cannot take so sweet better ask for a little sweet ( waan noi krap❤) For me I rather to have waan noi ❤. Jing jing!!! ❤❤❤Pom maa jaak tee Malaysia liaw gor chorp aahaan thai pet (spicy) mak krap❤
You aren't "brewing" the tea inside the plastic container.... The tea had already finished brewing in the 1st massive container. What you're doing is _straining_ the brewed tea into the plastic container.
Ghetto:Kool Aid (a lot of sugar)
Thailand:Thai tea (a lot of sugar).
I can confirm, Andy’s recipe is quite addictive! A “must-try” when you visit Rice Barn or Buddha Thai Bistro!
Thank you

Making This for the next big party !! Thank you 😊
I use the same tea mix. I feel so special. I use condensed milk & evaporated milk though not Half&Half. I might just try it now!
How long do you let it cook?
Great video! You are great on camera!
My favorite
mmmm....clover dairy, that is the best!
Favorite line: "omg this is the best for the part"
Can you verify how much water you use? Because that 5 L seems like it’s a lot more than 5 L?
Look like 5 gallon to me
How long did you let the tea sit in the pot?
Let it boil for 5 minutes then turn off let it cool down
That is hell a lot of sugar. I prefered with 1/4 of that sugar for that whole bag of tea.
I think those tea sellers from bkk street must be laughing.
That is not 5 liters. Maybe 5 gallons 😂
What’s the ratios for 1 cup? Please
I use 8 cups of water for 1 cup of Thai tea and 2 cups of sugar
How many cups of sugar? And also how long to brew?
10 cups of sugar and let it boil for 5 minutes
How can we make the Thai tea powder mixture at home (to have it without the food coloring)?
5 liter? It looks more like 5 gallons
I think is 5 gallon to litter is pretty small
No way it’s 5 liters. Must be more. They won’t tell us exact measurement bc they own a restaurant 🙄

Read the label on the back of the packet it’s known to have carcinogens you guys should make it out of scratch instead.
Omg, the sugar scares me!
That's why I stop eating at restaurants whenever possible!
Restaurant food are super unhealthy!
Gross! U didnt remove sticker on bottom of the pitcher to scoop the tea out of the pot.
