They were absolutely dripping in elite talent up and down their rosters & have nothing to show for it, as they could only muster 1 division title and never advanced past the second round.
Will agree that that team didn't do much but disagree that the team was stacked with elite talent. The D was great for a season or two but after Jerome Brown's death it was never the same.
Fun fact: the winter weather which blanketed Pennsylvania enough to create the snowballs Fanus Philici (the proper scientific name for the degenerate Human subspecies often colloquially referred to as "Eagles fans") rained onto the Vet extended all the way West throughout Ohio...and as such all-but-simultaneously produced the snowballs whose throwers Sam Wyche was calling out when he reminded Bengals fans that "You don't live in Cleveland, you live in Cincinnati!"
It comes full circle 😂
I thought that I said it best, but yours is making me covet! Thank you!
That always makes me laugh when I see that video.
No one likes us and we don’t care
More fun facts. You get on your knees. But it's not to pray
Bet Aikman’s boyfriend had a hard time watching Troy run for his life scared to death that day
Well done video. Hilarious in parts. What would Eagles fan think if Dallas had placed a bounty on Cunningham?
Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl appearances =8 with 5-3 record
Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl appearances = 4 with 1-3 record
Any questions?
Always with tht back in the day bs. U ain’t much now.
This is something that should’ve been seriously investigated back in the day. The fact that they allowed this back then. If they had seriously investigated this, they probably could’ve prevented the New Orleans Saints doing the bounty gate that they did later on in 2009. By allowing this to go on in the late 80s, it gave people comfortability to continue doing the shit. Which is the New Orleans Saints bounty gate ultimately was created.
I can't believe Aikman made it through that season.
This might've helped explains why 90% of the eagles fan base is trash. Because the organization is trash
Lol someone jealous
@@Sean-bw2yj jealous that most eagles fans are scumbags? Not quite 😂
No that's just because the city of Philadelphia is a festering sore on the rest of the state.
Don’t speak like you know from experience. You probably never even been to Pa before stay in hill Billy Texas you clown
best turkey day ever
Buddy Ryan changed how the NFL played defense as much as anyone in the game's history, but that man was a son of a bitch. I'm very glad he is not in the Hall of Fame.
Dallas later got the last laugh into the following years…
And my eagles getting amazing laughs last 27 years in counting 😂😂😂 #birdgang
@@Sean-bw2yjpush your crack pipe your burning the Brillo! DAK OWNS YOUR TEAM! see you shortly for another smashing
The 80's were the most violent decade for the NFL.
I love the Dallas Cowboys blue jerseys.
Let's talk about DIRTY RAMENROBBIE, Larry Allen used to poke Reggie White in the eyes to take him off his game. America's Team?
Have you studied Larry Allen's rise to fame and the way he got to play at that level?
Someone connected with the nfl talking about integrity. Laughable. The nfl issues injury reports so vegas can establish the odds for each weeks games.
This was nothing compared to Wyche v. Glanville
Ashamed to learn of this as an Eagles fan born in 1991. No wonder our fan base gets so much hate to this day 🙄
The Most satisfying thing was A Year Later, Jimmy Johnson won Coach of the Year, and on the Same Day, Buddy Ryan was Fired! Karma is A Bitch...
i was at the snow bowl game...Epic! the vet was on fire that day
4:34--Referee Gene Barth literally added insult to injury by calling the foul on Zendejas, when _he_ was the one being fouled. If I were Jimmy Johnson in that moment, I would have done everything in my power to get the refs to *STOP THE GAME.*
That’s not a thing that would happen in the 80s
Good times.....good times..
