Where can I find a z06 c8 for 120k 💀. The mark ups are ridiculous. I think that’s why the gt500 is more common and supported by the peasants like us. Bc you can pick one up for 75-80k used low miles.
For real lol Running 9.9 in the 1/4 mile for a car that is being sold for 160-180k is not impressive at all. A GT500, ZL1 or Hellcat can run that for a fraction of the price 😂

Tony’s red 4 eye hatch is a prestige 363 setup and that thing is mint. I’d be torn between Prestige and a ZSR setup when it comes time for an aftermarket block. More than likely ZSR.

But It sat in the service lane for 2 months getting service done because of park delays & then went out and did this. Also I feel attacked because I was one of the guys at barrett Jackson with the new car😂
No doubt the c8s are quick, even a base model. I'm just not a big fan of the car. Honestly I'm not super crazy about the s550 gt500. The gt350 is cool but I'm an s197 "fanboy " all the way. Only mustang I'd rather have than my 2014 would be a cobra r or a boss 429.
What's a zl1 running stock? That's the gt500's competition. Ford needs to come out with a Corvette competitor though, I know they had the last 2 iterations of the gt but they weren't really attainable for the average guy and they weren't mass produced like the Corvette.
I agree. I think GM has more "options" So there is currently no ford competition for the Corvette at all, and nothing for the Cadillac ctsv or any 4 door high HP vehicles, I'm still a Ford guy but ford doesn't have a 8 cylinder SUV or a light v8 sports car. Hence why I bought them.

If your fuel pump is pushing out more than that then you need a regulator to regulate it down from 5 to 7 psi. Usually the Edelbrock style carburetors run at five psi but seven psi is not going to hurt it and a Holley carburetor runs at seven psi. I know this because I used to mess with carburetors when I was like 18 years old and my first badass car was a 77 Camaro. Are used to run a transmission dyno For any rear wheel drive transmission that ran off propane with a 3.8 L GM engine. I don’t know how to rebuild a carburetor I know how they work but most carburetors run from 5 to 7 psi and anything higher than that it’s just wrong
Holly has an electric fuel pump where you don’t need a regulator and it runs exactly 7 psi of fuel pressure which is the orange one. The blue one is for a really high performance engines and you need a regulator to regulate the pressure. I remember I put that blue one on my 77 Camaro and that thing is loud as shit. Especially with a regulator. So I bought the orange one and it was quiet as could be and I ran it off of a toggle switch. The engine that I had did not have a slot for a mechanical fuel pump because it was a newer style 350 And the electronic fuel pump worked phenomenal I had a toggle switch and I never had any problem with that holly electric fuel pump
I watch cleetus purely for entertainment but it really bugs the hell out of me that he wastes "neighbor " doing burnouts. He's already got like 14 other cars to do burnouts in. I just skip over the burnout and drifting videos.
Well, I am a Chevy lover before anything else. And I am still surprised that heavy MF ran a 9 even in good weather. The car is impressing me at every turn.

Super light front wheels and tires and drag radials isn't stock, but yes, it's quick.
