Mine’s ran 10.1 at 140 with a trash, poverty, standard inlet 2.9 whipple. Stock motor, stock ecu, IRS, t56. Wayyy back in 2015. Super easy to get low 10’s, high 9’s stick car if you can drive worth a sht

Gen 1 coyotes and some gen 2 cost less than most nice terminators so maybe the coyote guys are the ones that are for broke people lol. Idk why we have to separate and be on different teams I love cobras gt500s coyotes and alot of other Ford stuff and other makes as well. But as far as Ford why do we gotta be on separate teams going at each other why can't we just all respect each other's rides. Clearly the coyote is more capable for the average person who isn't building a full out no budget race car it is much newer and has more displacement, compression, rpm, tech etc. I don't see why we gotta diss on cobras it's a car from 2003 that yes is essentially a fox body under like you said that can make 800+ wheel pretty reliably with a blower swap and fuel system. This was way before the coyote came and was extremely capable in its day. Matter of fact they can hang with alot of modded modern vehicles with fairly simplistic mods the car is literally 20 years old now they first dropped summer of 2002. Honestly I think they deserve more respect than they get.
Yes there is alot of toxic stupid cobra owners but there is a ton of toxic coyote guys too they're all in the car community.

I mean the car is almost 20 years old dude of course the ecu isn't gonna be as capable. It has less displacement way less compression less rpm and alot less tech overall of course a coyote setup is gonna be able to beat it. But I've seen them with blower swaps and fuel system going mid 9s with a stick shift more than once so clearly they are capable.
Did you dyno the ZR1 before you got rid of the dyno? Just curious what it makes at the wheels from the factory.
You keep saying 79 Fairmont but that 79 Fairmont has a blown gen 2 coyote in it yes its on 15 psi with 11:1 compression probably on e85. So yea an old light car with a badass modern driveline with a legit setup.

Not all Terminator Cobra owners are that way. Technology keeps improving that’s a fact. The 4.6L Supercharged V8 was labeled at making 390 hp and trq in stock form. The 5.0L Coyote V8 makes 460 hp and 420 trq naturally aspirated. It’s just Technology evolving nothing to be butt hurt about. Im a 03 Cobra owner and I give credit where it’s due, won’t find me knocking the new Mustang 5.0. Both cars can be very fast, nothing to piss and fight about!

I bought a 99 cobra built motor built t56 2.2 kenne bell and it ran 12s 😭 cobras are nice and all but if imma be driving something almost as old as me it’s not going to be a cobra

You ran 12s with a built motor and 2.2 kb? If you run 12s with a setup with that kind of potential it's nobodies fault but your own. Not everyone has the driver mod or a properly setup car clearly.
A 99 cobra can get into the 12s with bolt ons slicks and a set of steep rear gears. If you're in the 12s with a built motor 2.2 kb setup you Def ain't doing something right.

From the factory they make damn near 400 to the tires and they can do over 500 to the wheels with the stock tiny blower still on the car. A simple blower swap and fuel system and you can do 800+ rwhp pretty reliably. I feel like this is extremely respectable for a car from 2003. 1st gen coyotes make almost exactly the same power on dynos as 03-04 cobras they both dyno 360-380 rwhp depending on the dyno etc. The 1st gen coyote came out almost a decade after the 03 cobra came out I would hope it made some advancements. Stop quoting crank factory hp ratings trying to sound smart you're just showing how much you don't know about 03-04 cobras. They deserve alot more respect than they get on this channel that is for sure. They can hang today with modern cars similarly modded and they are working with 4.6 liters and alot less tech etc I think they are impressive for what they are and deserve respect.
With that being said alot of cobra owners are stupid but coyote guys are just as bad if not worse they all have toxic people in their community. I don't see what is wrong with having a car with good bang for the buck a car that goes fast for little money guys on a budget like it why is this a knock on the car? I'm not sure.
