I have to admit... the fail#3 is quite good and it is something that is quite close to my style of writing... im a beginner type and interested in the copywriting world...I may have read self help and personal development materials alot that I have developed that depressed and philosophical way of thinking and writing... is that something that I would need to improve on?
Well, it's definitely going to depends on the audience that you're targeting. But in general, no you don't want to be too philosophical in your copywriting. You want to make it simple and easy to understand!
Worst case of bad copywriting I have seen is Pampers nappies 'Poonami' ad slogan. Not only an inappropriate slang word for a lady's down below but a bit thoughtless with regards to anyone who has been affected by an actual Tsunami.
Hey Alex, so you made a video on the bad examples.... You could've mentioned how you would've written or changed them to give us an idea on how to improve them (just a suggestion).
Been there too! What I did to break the pattern is to always, always just try to switch the feature to the benefit. How's your copywriting doing now by the way?
In English I pronounce it "djif". In my native language I pronounce it both ways, depending on my mood :))) but most of us, I believe, call it "guifka" :))

It's pretty specific! Perhaps you can specialize in branding copy? Home pages, about pages, videos, etc.
