Hey Posse! Just wanted to pop in and say I hope you're having a beautiful day wherever you are in the world!!
What you are saying is relatable. I am a Filipino indiefilmworker. I did content research for Film and TV before the pandemic and I am seriously working on crossing over Copywriting milieu that I had always been curious of and set to live and love at 63 and on.
I can do this, learning skills and acquiring attitude workable from your videos. Thanks, you are generous.
I love watching your videos Alex!!!!

I open my eyes at the sound of music. I wake up to my alarm playing the local radio station every morning. This is the first time i don't shut it off right away; its playing my song. what a pleasant surprise. My music is filled with good vibes. I hope other people are waking up to my song and smile as well. after all, that's the reason why i made music in the first place; to spread happiness.
Love these storytelling formulas - straight and to the point!
Alex you rock. Your value packed content is easily some of the best I've come across here on RUclips. Cheers to your success! Keep up the fabulous work!
XffTheGrid411 thank you!!!!
I’ve actually used some of these before! They work AMAZING!
So glad I stumbled on to Alex Cattoni prior to trying to become a Copy Writer. Thank you! I have learned so much.
Loving these! Full of wisdom..thank you Alex..you are awesome!
We Hindus have Ramayana, much earlier to all of the other stores somewhere close to 7100 years ago. For us He is "Lord Ram" or the Protagonist. So this form of storytelling, "The Hero's Journey" is quite old for us, Indians.
This was so helpful!
I just purchased a salon in Fort Collins, Colorado, and it is HEMORRHAGING money! Covid19 is tearing through the salon, and if we can’t get our staff busy, and if the state shut us down, we will bankrupt.
The salon had been in business for 16 years, and over that time has seen a tremendous number of people. We have all of the email addresses of those clients since the salon went into business 16 years ago. Now it is time to invite them into our story, to help them not only look good, but to feel good! And when you feel good, you do damn good things!
So the fuel to keep me going
wow! i'm so sorry to hear that! hopefully you can reel them back in :)
With the Powerful and insanely informative content that you have the 100,000 subscribers is not very far away.
Love these ideas so much! Excited start spicing things up :D
I wake up one day from the sound of sparrows chirping right outside of my window. I check my phone and it gives me the notification that you're now the top-rated writer on Upwork. Yay.
Packed with value. Love it!!
Just found this channel today and I've been binge-watching all day. So much fantastic content to help me launch my new business, and I love your energy! And yes, I've subscribed to everything 😃
Woohoo! Thanks for watching!
O.M.G! This video is the bomb!!!
I'm an email copywriter with undying love for the world of copywriting and so ventured recently into sales copy writing. I wrote a sales letter last week for a campaign set to launch next month (I know, I'm an obsessive planner) and just discovered I used the B.A.B method. Story telling comes so easy for me and till now it's been via intuition for me. But I've recently become concerned about a writing structure I could merge with my intuition. This video was my answer. Thank you for sharing Alexa. New fan🙌🙌😍😍
So happy to hear that! Thanks so much :)
Fave story formulas:
1. Hero's journey
2. Before after bridge
3. Future pacing
Problem facing is another one type..
Can you explain future pacing?
Hey Alex. This is by far the best channel on copy writing. I have learned so much. I have to take notes with every video. Thank you and please keep these amazing videos coming!
Aw thank you!! This made my day.
I also am writing notes -- into a document. Good idea!
I'll second that. I take copious notes. There are little gems Alex throws in there. She (you) do not expand on them. They are in the course I imagine. I'll write some in the comments. Great channel. Well produced. I"m learning so much of this fundamental skill eh!
Agree drawing
True!✨👍
This was great! Thank you! Love your energy!
Interestingly enough, I began to use storytelling not only for ad copy but also to patients that I tend to. They seem to enjoy it.
I go to bed everyday satisfied and all-knowing that I am living with purpose. I am impacting lives with my work and others look upto me with respect and admiration. And as I am ready to wind down, I have my husband by my side. I hold his hand and life is good.
What a great video to start the day- love your work! Thank you for your information and inspiration 😊
Such great techniques - love this video thank you!

Nice!!
Alex Cattoni Thanks for all your advice and tips, I am new copywriter (1 week). I am a little nervous about where to start, I am not sure if I need to pay for a mentor or get a lot of books to read ( you suggested ). How do I put my self out there as a newbie to start?

I loved Ragnar Lothbrok's journey in Vikings. From being an ordinary farmer to the most famous man in the world, his journey is amazing. The tales of his triumphs which led him to be king of all Vikings show how a hero evolves and becomes the best version of himself.
Love it!
very insightful, thanks Alex
Alex! You make sense always, that's why I'm so glued to your videos 😂
Thanks so much!!
grateful for your share, Alex
Good morning Alex. Thank you so much for this video. I learned a lot and realized I love story telling. So instead of saying I am at my desk working from home, as a copy writer or course; I will say as I was sitting in my office working from home on a Saturday afternoon, I had soft music playing in the background and a delicious cup of tea. I'm feeling the warm rays of sun coming through the branches of my favorite tree right outside the window. I feel a pair of soft lips on the back of my neck as my husband sneaks in to steal a kiss and it breaks my daydream. Now I'm back to work !!!
I LOVE IT!
Hey Alex, thanks for your content about copywriting
You’re welcome Danny!!
Wow I didn't know that you can't tell if a positive feeling was from the past or future. I always learn from watching you
Wow.. this is great. Thank you

"You open your door to go out being met by smiling people, birds chirping, joyfully making your way to the work you love and that feels meaningful to you, your year-old self couldn't even imagine being this happy but now you know the trick." Here is my try🔮🔮
This is amazing. I went to film school and just learned something new! Yay! Thanks
Awesome!!
I wake up in the cozy Sunday morning. Its so cold that I couldn't let go my blanket. Suddenly the sound of the birds singing magically pull my body out to the window. After I fill my skin with vitamin D from the sun, I pull my scale under the bed and realize I just lost another 2 pounds this week!
The best channel on this subject! Kudos.
Wow, thanks so much!
Thank you so much Alex. I just subscribed.
Welcome!
This is so amazing. Super helpful
So glad!
Wow! All this for free! I am blown away by your tips! Thank you so much Alex! You are the best!
Thanks for watching! ⚡️
Alex, you don't know how much value you add to small entrepreneurs like me.
I've a Trekking agency in Nepal. Since, I don't have a fat budget to spend on quality copywriter like you (sometimes I wish I had), I do it myself.
And you know what?
Tips and tricks you share on RUclips and blogs have helped me at least save my face by making my copy not that horrible.
I'll lunch my website next month.
May God bless you. 💖🙏
Awww, thank you so much
@@AlexCattoni 🙂🙂🙂🙏
Alex , muchas felicidades 🎉,you rock ,
Admittedly, I only clicked on this video, due to the thumbnail. You're unbelievably beautiful -- with movie star looks like Sherilyn Fenn and Ava Gardner in their heyday. Adios...
Outstanding video Alex ,Joe Campbell's the power of myth series with Bill Moyers, it's a masterpiece
I love Star Wars! Fantastic hero's journey :) And I am learning so much from your channel!!
Thanks for being here!!
Geez..I'm mesnerized..you're too good..
Interesting video! The Truman show is one of my favourite Hero's journey
i thought "farts" was the answer, but nope... "storytelling" is the answer. i was close though 😂
Time to tell some stories…about farts
Now describe the hero’s journey of the fart
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Happy birthday to your 8th anniversary. 😆 Let's say it with Star Wars: May the farts be with you!
Hi Alex! New sub here. I love your channel, planning to be a content writer someday!☺️ Your tips are easy to understand! Thank you so much!
Thanks so much!
Excellent.
I'm the person for whom the B-A-B example was created. Shopping stresses me out and this storytelling technique would have easily lured me in🙂🙂🙃
X-Men, particularly The Wolverine and Rocky are my favorite Hero's Journeys.
One of the best storytelling story I remember as kid was "Sparky and his magic piano"
You now have 175 thousand!!👏🙊🙊🙊
Fantastic presentation that's highly informative
Glad it was helpful!
Love your tips on storytelling.
Thanks so much!
Amazing!
Future Pacing
You wake up, you look around your boho-themed bedroom; everything is so in order. The alarm went off minutes ago, yet there is no sense of rush. Just calmness. Slowly you stretch your body and push away the dazzling white duvet with a smile. You cannot imagine this is what you previously dreamed of months prior. What a beautiful day. Everything speaks -serenity.
really good video
I’m in love with your channel and how magnetic, clear and energetic you are! I’m want to transition and start a copywriting freelance business... Definitely gonna check your course!! ❤️💜
Amazing! Thank you so much!
so helpful thank you
Glad it was helpful!
Storytelling evokes all of your senses
coming back here, after alex get her 100k play button :D congrats
Eeeeek!! Thank you :)
Super useful video, many thanks. I have to ask what the song was in the background, I love it!!
Of my intro? I don't actually know, it's just one of those 'video theme songs' you can choose when editing! haha 😜
Alrightyyyy! So I got a lot to say. Mostly of what I learned and evaluated from the video.(Note - I'll try to break it down, as I rewatch the video)
1) As much as I am embarrassed, I didn't got the riddle(ig I need to work on that)
2) 2:45 yup, I'm part of posse
3) *Technique #1*
Alright, this seems good.(added to swipe files)
4) 5:22 WoW! This was knowledgeable
5) *Future Pacing*
O.K. so here it is. It might not be best, but I wrote this from the top of my head. (Do bear with me)
"The sun is already up-shining. I've just waked up. It's Monday 11:37, almost noon. Next to me is sleeping the girl of my love and dream, Suz. My eyes, barely awake after the full night party-2 of us had.(We slept at 4 am)
Who she is?
She is someone I met online 3 and half years ago.
We came to know each other and eventually fell in love. Although, there is a major twist to this love story-that didn't allowed us to even see each other for nothing less than 36 months. But more on that later.
She and I have finally achieved our dream of financial and freedom today. But even more important, we have won the right to love and stay with each other. We won "us" today.
The dream we had seen together 3 years ago is turned into a reality, with nothing but our own dedication to credit.
As I see through the window. A valley of mountains unfolds. A sight certainy to behold.
It truly is a glorious day. A day, that denotes our victory."
6) 7:16 *Nothing is more interesting than trouble*
Haha this reminds of the line.
"As the troubles have a tendency, not to disappoint" fr a certain popular book
8) Talk about troubles.
So I take it, raise the possible objections that readers might have in mind either at the very start of copy or build an *environment* when you reach the objective (trouble)
9) *Before After Bridge*
O.K. I got the fundamental down.
You describe a current problematic situation(of audience). Then you describe the resolved ideal scenario.
And bridge the 2 with your product/service.
So yeah. Cool video, Alex. As you can see(Hopefully) I learned a lot. And I'd really appreciate if you reply at least something to this. It took me a lot of time to write this (28 minutes :p)
Sincerely
Jatin
JATIN!! This is by far the greatest comment I have ever received! Thank you so much for doing the 28-minute breakdown!! Gold star ⭐️ !!! Thank you so much. SO glad you learned a lot!

Thank you so much for your opinion about me being as writer what most important thing to make personal thinking and bring it into the 🎁 writing skills, is really your effective speech
That screen writing book 👌💯 I have already seen it in the library and many You Tuber had been showing me. I have also buy new books 😁 about Google an copy writing skills book 👌 but I like your speech 😁 and 🎁 presentation style, that I like most.
Thank you so much for your good wishes and advice.
Nice video Alex. It has really given me inspiration! However, I haven't understood the trouble maker technique. I wish you had a practical example like the last one
Check out the book Save The Cat! - really breaks this one down so well
