Have you checked that usb type is compatible? I had a problem with one I tried but then got a SanDisk which was compatible and all OK. Did need to format to Fat32. Windows default formatting tool cannot format drives larger than 32GB to Fat32, so I had to download a tool called Fat32 Format by Ridgecorp Consultants, its free. Also, for mine, the USB didn't work connected directly to the PS, but I think that's because it was large capacity but also was USB 3. I believe for those you have to use a powered USB hub as the console cannot provide enough power. But I think that is only an issue for USB 3 types, yours being USB 2 hopefully will be able to just connect directly to the PS. @@elpasomyk I found someone else experiencing this same issue. I'm gonna try this myself but he said that if you leave the drive in the console overnight (I'm assuming with the power supply plugged in with the ps off) then it'll read the USB. Hopefully once it's not a beta anymore it'll work!
@@joobakins i figured it out, on the powered usb hub, i put my drive in the port nearest to the power cable and boom autobleem loaded. hope this works for you
Or, have you completely unplugged the console, remove the power cord. Wait a couple mins, then plug the usb in, then plug the power in, wait 20 seconds and then power on?
RetroArch is a frontend for emulators, game engines and media players. It enables you to run classic games on a wide range of computers and consoles through its slick graphical interface. Settings are also unified so configuration is done once and for all.
They are all already compatible. You just may need a powered usb hub. It's not the software that's incompatible, it's the power limiter on the front usb port. So by placing a powered usb hub in, you will not have power issues with usb drives. Even still the 128 gb drive I have in the description is working for me without a hub, and it comes as fat32 formated out of the box :)
you need a usb stick that is low power but usb 2 at 128gb is slow. i switched to using multiple 64gb easy enough to fit 100 fighting games. fill the leftovers with retroarch stuff

I have a 128GB PNY USB 2.0 flash drive. Do I need to format it to FAT32 or ext4? Thanks in advance!
I would check the compatibility list though, just incase someone already has confirmed it not to work, to save you time
will this read iso files
I have a few bin and gue file and it doesn't see them
How do you format 128GB using FAT32?
You would use an external software like FAT32 Format: fat32-format.en.softonic.com/
@@Restalgia Thank you!!! Great tutorial vids btw :)
PS Classic is now 50$ in canada. It's actually worth the buy now I picked one up today.
Saw it @ 39.99$ in some Microplay Stores in Québec... :)
Thanks for the update on Autobleem, have they resolved the multi disk issues when using multi disk PBP files yet ?
I do believe it has been resolved :)
@@Restalgia Great stuff have been waiting for that before I did any builds.
@@Restalgia I just checked GitHub and found this ...............
Supports CUE/BIN and Not encrypted PBP (popstation created - PSN downloads will not work) file formats
@@chrisshaw451 yes, that just means that psp downloaded psx games that an encrypted won't work, but bin/cue converted to pbp will work fine. Also in the release notes, it does say multidisk support is working now. :)
@@Restalgia Yes but it does state multidisk all working for BIN/CUE, so putting it all together PBP created from BIN/CUES will work OK ?
how the hell do i get the retroarch and games folder!?!?!?!?
There music inside menu finally?
Yep!
how do we get a new game we don't have?
So can I still save my game data?
Yes, but the memory card manager which can be used ontop of the save states to share game data between games (usually used to unlock extra features in some games) is not working properly yet.
Where can I get Retroarch?
I made a video about that called HOW TO | Install RetroArch on Autobleem for your Playstation Classic. Check that video out as there are links in the description
Restalgia Thanks for the help, I found the link on your video and downloaded it
I can't get the games that I transfer over to play. Am I doing something wrong
Have you unzipped the files and put them in their own folders with the bin and cue files ?
I am having trouble adding cover art? suggestions?
U ARE SOOO SMART ?
HMMM, I bought the 128gb thumbdrive that you have in the description. seems to not be working. Can anyone confirm that drive works?
I personally am using this drive for my bleemsync build. There have been people that have hit or miss luck depending on the batch of usb. Can you confirm it's fat32 formatted and the label is SONY all caps? Do you have a powered usb hub laying around you can use to test it that way also?
I'm having the same issue. I bought the same USB flash drive, its 2.0, formatted to Fat 32, and named SONY and it's not even being detected. Dunno how to fix.
Restalgia thanks for the reply. I’ve tried a powered usb hub. It is fat32. Still no luck.
@@joobakins i figured it out, on the powered usb hub, i put my drive in the port nearest to the power cable and boom autobleem loaded. hope this works for you
Where to get the games?
sorry im doing a update but iv done a fresh one to still get a black screen
Is your drive fat32 formated?
yes
Or, have you completely unplugged the console, remove the power cord. Wait a couple mins, then plug the usb in, then plug the power in, wait 20 seconds and then power on?
the AutoBleem screen come up and i click on the x and then black screen
@@Restalgia yes
Merci beaucoup!
Can I do this on a microSD?
In retroarch how can I change disk?
Is it better than bleemsync 1.1?
They are both different for different reasons. I personally have 2 sticks, one for autobleem and one for bleemsync
So I can I have 2 sticks one for autobleem and one for bleemsync and switch between them whenever I want?@@Restalgia
@@GroverMonster that's exactly what I do :)
i like both
what is retro arch?
also does anyone have a list of PBP games i can get
RetroArch is a frontend for emulators, game engines and media players. It enables you to run classic games on a wide range of computers and consoles through its slick graphical interface. Settings are also unified so configuration is done once and for all.
I returned 0.5.1
Still waiting for an update that is compatible with 128GB USB
They are all already compatible. You just may need a powered usb hub. It's not the software that's incompatible, it's the power limiter on the front usb port. So by placing a powered usb hub in, you will not have power issues with usb drives. Even still the 128 gb drive I have in the description is working for me without a hub, and it comes as fat32 formated out of the box :)
you need a usb stick that is low power but usb 2 at 128gb is slow. i switched to using multiple 64gb easy enough to fit 100 fighting games. fill the leftovers with retroarch stuff
Thanks for the advice guys
@@Wr0zen You DO need to solder to do the mod.
@@Wr0zen Thanks for that info.
about time they give us widescreen option I hated black bars. I like 3d art i want it to stay
Unstable, freezing and the like.
Anyway to hide the stock games?
Yes, i covered this in the video. If you press select on the controller you can toggle between USB only games, Stock only games and all games combined. :)
Lol I can't believe I totally missed that! Thanks!!!
@@Restalgia also can you do custom box art??
@@theincompetentme not with autobleem unfortunately.
