- I stopped by Maple Motors in Hendersonville, TN to check out what classic trucks, vintage cars and muscle cars they had for sale. It was awesome to meet part owner and fellow You Tuber Nick Southgate from the channel@MapleMotorsNickSouthgate
Nick is third generation car guy and him and his family have been selling classic cars for decades and after meeting some of the members and seeing the wholesome vibe it’s no wonder Maple Motors has been so successful in providing affordable classic cars and running and driving project cars for decades!
Video features full walk through of the current inventory (April 2024) while Nick and I talk shop, I was able to get several 60’s and 70s muscle cars, chevy tri-five restored cars, project cars ready for restoration, classic chevy corvettes, classic roadrunner plus so much more! Check out the full inventory on Maple Motors RUclips channel or visit www.maplemotors.com online or in person 829 W Main St, Hendersonville, TN 37075 - Развлечения
I lived by this place in 07, they legit have a museum out front everyday. I stopped several times just to look, as far as I remember everyone was very nice and glad to answer any questions I had. It's good to see you guys are atill around.
It does feel like a museum with all the cars out front, but yes still around and I don’t think they’re going anywhere, very nice family.
Been watchin Nick an family for around 5 yrs, sell alot of muscle cars,, tks for sharing
You’re welcome, I was glad to meet the family up close and these prices are pretty good!
Hey Thanks Nick for bringing us these Beautiful old cars in one place ! Ppl gripe about the cars, shouldnt own one ! 👍
I watch their videos all the time, and I'm so surprised to see you there. Thanks for the video
Welcome glad you liked it!
I bought mt 67 camaro from them just a great experience! Super good people.
That’s awesome!
Classic cars are going for what a buyer is willing to pay... seriously I purchased 4 months ago at Maple Motors a 1971 Chevelle with a SS setup still a clone but had the S&S package.
it was 1 off 3 on the front row, in December 2023.
I chose the 1971 with the 454, I watched the video scrutinize the video 6 times I could see the visuals under carriage and the interior, I processed what's under the hood - aluminum heads Eldebrock Victor Jr intake intake manifold - 750 quick fuel carb - electric radiator fan - American race wheels M/T tires, Upon receiving it I pulled the brake drums it had Yukon chrome moly race axles - Yukon Locker posi-tract chrome moly limited slip rear-end with 4.11-T pinion shaft packed into the 12 bolt rear-end, 3 speed horseshoe 350 turbo transmission in the center console with a 3,000 rpm torque converter, with a lock switch set-up of which locks up the torque converter released by brake switch for intown driving. Basically a lot of love went into this classic car by the previous owner in this 1971 Chevelle Pro-Street Car, The previous owner did the main share of adding or replacing parts like 3 new inner fenders, front floor pans, new interior and headliner, SS dash and new fuel tank, figure the owner did all this work back in 2015, how did I know this ? Research... little tid bits showing when the work was done, sure there was some finish work touch-up paint to do, but not a problem for me, we fixed up what wasn't working...
I knew investing another $3,000.00 over what I paid them for it, would bring it into what I would invision it's worth and selling value... having great interior not hacked up... a built 454- 4 bolt main full race engine with with good internals big Lunati 240-252/575-575 lift@108 LSA full race aluminum heads 1.6 rockers Moral Lifters.
bored to a 468 drag car... now after going through the car compared all this to what I would have paid for here close to home it would be a $39,000.00 to $40,000.00 car here in Oregon
I came out ahead paying 33,500.00 investing 3,000.00 and still having fun
That’s awesome! Attention to detail I guess is key but your right a little time love and some money is always needed if your in this hobby.
I am so glad you did this video. I was recently watching one episode of you in California and was thinking I wish she would go to Tennessee and cover Maple Motor Company and here you are. Thank you 🙏
So happy to read this, trying to cover everything you viewers would find interesting and classics for sale is always a hot topic !
I really love Maple Motors; and the way they do business. I hope they don’t change anything! I think they are the very best auto company out there.
Maple motors do price their vehicles below others. But most need work.. few are turn key.. good canvases to build to ones liking.
Paint on the Roadrunner is called Butterscotch. Factory color.
Factory paint, nice
Anyone looking at these cars has to have some knowledge of what they’re getting into because of their age. It’s a matter of doing your research on what you’re looking for as some people have their personal mechanics look at what they’re buying. Just check out the videos and go from there. Nice selection of cars to get into!👍👍
I guess anytime you buy a used vehicle there is a chance something may not be right , now you put a classic in the mix and of course there will be problems but to see something in one piece running and driving is definitely the best start anyone can wish for, thanks for watching and welcome to my channel!
My right ear enjoyed this video.
We bought our '57 Bel Air from MM. Absolutely love it.
Nice! Congratulations, they good people
Love Maple Motors!!
I didn't buy my Chevelle there , but they have a lot of good quality classic muscle cars!!!!
Big fan of Nick and Maple Motor and get to see the car before I even buy it. ❤ Thanks
Heaven let u light Shine down.
"I check everything" except the brake lights !
Those people sell junkers usually bondo buckets
Nice project cars 👍🏼
Agree!
Personally I would rather buy a real project car. These are lipstick jobs, with many hidden issues. So buying one of these means you pay a premium then end up stripping it and then restore it. A rear project car can be found for far less money and you can easily see up front what needs repaired. In the end, restoring a rear project car would be a lot cheaper in the long run.
@@ohioken1 markups are outrageous they by a car for 6 to 9500 then triple it
😮
@@ohioken1 i agree always nice to get something you can get yours hands on, but so hard to find these days.
It´s a great start to the day to look and dream of owning one of these wonderful unique cars
one day. Thanks Rana for as always an interesting car video.
Welcome Mats, yes it gets very tempting visiting these lots 😆
Maple motors have wonderful family operating business, Rana u need to cover Vanguard motorsports as well, thanks for your efforts.

Just stumbled across this ! Way to go Nick! World wide ! Ranas Radar, thanks for recognizing Maple Motors. Been watching them for a couple of years now. Always look forward to Monday's now. Never really liked them!
Family run business with decent prices on popular old school hot rods and classics. Always interesting inventory.
Awesome prices!
Maple motors is awesome
Great video Rana, their cars are reasonably priced !
Thanks Jimmy I thought so too
If you all knew what I & others know about these people, you wouldn't give them one second of your time. I've been in Nashville since the 60's.
What did they do?
Nick is the most honest salesman ive seen

Kool channel definitely subscribing
Thank you! And welcome! There’s lots to see happy viewing!
Hey sorry it's 3 days later but did you guys get rid of that old javelin
I noticed he's been showing more lower cost projects lately. Actually somebody named Elaine who is totally off base is the reason why I'm stating my original comment. These are some great people. They come through some health situations as well. But when I brought up how great these people were my comment disappeared. As far as the prices I think on some of these things they're a bit high. But obviously people are willing to pay them. Obviously they're not paying the prices that they're selling them for. So he knows where to buy them cheaper like some of the rest of us do. And the number of cars that he sells is just outstanding. Now this way Elaine cannot bad mouth anybody and she won't have to be thrown under the bus figuratively speaking. Which when she was talking about me and being thrown under the bus she didn't mention the word figuratively. But that's RUclips for you. I don't think it was the host of this particular interview. I did not catch your name. But regardless of what I think of the price is if you went out to hunt and the expense to hunt down a particular car that he would have already at Maple motors. I do believe you'd have more involved in the hunt as far as cost and what you could possibly save. I enjoy looking at the cars and he demonstrates.
It's Blue!
I see purple 😆
Are these Bondo rides or do they have steel sheet metal?
being olskool, it hurts me to see these cars with LS motors,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Nice aray of affordable classics Rana 👍🇦🇺 Aussie girl loves a blower .you rock any thoughts of putting one on your your c 10 🤔
I really did consider it to be honest! But I do want to drive this and I live in suburbia so hopefully one day with some land I could have a big block with a blower
Understandable I myself run a worked 302 Windsor in a xy ute goes hard was a daily untill prices tripled and now drive it sparingly .
Everything You sell is a project car! 3/4 the stuff you feature on test drives have many things that dont work🤔
Aren’t all classics projects that need fixing, some more than others
Isn't that part of the fun? Owners are usually gearheads that don't just buy a perfect classic and simply drive it around
They would be Double that Price if it all worked Brother !
Project Motors 😂
Buy here
Fix it at your home 😂
I agree with you. Air specialties what I would call light repairable vehicles.
One of these days I will have the opportunity to buy one of these cars
I hope you do!
Ain't she Sweet ❤
Is there a video on the toyota
Hey!! Canada is part of North America Nick!! Like your lifelong buddy is family,,,,,. Eh!!😊😊😂😂
😆 love this!
My first 1967 camaro i paid 600.00 .I can not believe these people paying 3x,s the price.
Were you get them for 10-x cheaper
🏆🍀👀✌️
A lot of really nice stuff, but that Impala is worth $7500 on a good day.
If you travel to NC and like auctions, there is one being held 25-27 April. Greensboro Auto Auction. Thanks Nic for Mecum tip.
Hello , hello !!!! CHEERS from HUNGARY !!! GO NICK GO !!!!
Hello! Welcome!
Is your dads twin turbo corvette bone stock?
I had to fast forward to the '57 Imperial. I thought it was under $6k.
How much for the green mustang
Rev Um Up!.
They do have several vehicles that are pretty decent not all are project cars or project trucks
I saw heaps of cars that were ready to drive out and not be used as projects
1/2 the stuff on those cars is broken.
1st gen Camaros and firebirds don’t look the same 🤦♂️
⁉️However, one huge issue, regardless of condition (unless a true rust bucket) ALL muscle and classic cars NEED to be protected from the weather, PERIOD!!! These cars easily start the rusting process if sitting outside, it’s unavoidable unless they’re protected. Not even a cheap canopy? But thank you for sharing a great video
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, I don’t think these cars stay in the lot for too long but absolutely I hear what you mean and hopefully others can understand and keep their beloved classics sheltered.
BONDO BABYS
Most are not road legal and are sold as-is with zero warranty. I drove 1600 miles to look at a car that was a rusty POS junk.
No sound
You are absolutely stunningly beautiful
thank you!
Sounds like your from the other side of the pond . lol
Moved from Australia
He just admitted that their mark up is more than the $2-3000 that he says they only get. If you only pay $20,000 per car the lot price wouldn't be over $30,000!!!! I would say they are about $10,000 to $15,000 over priced for what the buyer is getting! Either that or they are negotiating the price for alot less than the windshield price!!!!!
Guy is a typical used car lost conman.
They need to much work for the price
???
Maple motors : requires $2,000.00. Non refundable deposit
What is the point of this channel??? Does she travel around promoting RUclips channels?
Not not at all, but if I come across someone with a channel then I would love to mention it because as someone that has started RUclips only in the last couple of years, it’s nice to recognize other channels so my viewers can see what else there in case they don’t find what they’re looking for on my channel. The point of this channel is to share my journey in the world of hot rods and classic cars this includes car shows, hot rod shops and my first restoration project 1972 Chevy c10 . I hope you like it there’s lots to see!
Hey, see a lot of whiners on here but you know you get what you pay for and you should expect to have to do work on old classic cars that’s the fun of it
Everything is a Project there !
Nick has a bet going to see if things work or not !
They simply polish the Turd and talk it up , but at the end of the day its still a pile of $H1T .
All auction flip cars ..janky builds sold for 10x cost. They buff them, put cheap wheels and tires on them and flip them to rubes. Only fools think this place has good deals and is reputable. Good news for them Is that fools in the car scene are abundant.
Damn fool. Your panties are in a bunch. Just keep making those payments on that dodge. I bet you have the gay parade lights on that pile too.
This place sells junk.
You talk to much.
Thanks for stopping by, sorry this channel is not for you.
i think what is scaring everyone on the 75 impala is its full of rust and you want 15,900 lol lol its worth maybe 5000 tops, what a undesirable valueless P,O,S....FACT,belongs in the junk yard not on a lot
there all junk and all need work ,there called "THE BEND OVER SPECIALS" its more of a junk yard
REALLY? No
No sound
