This is complicated. You can lease land in Thailand. You can own a home on the land but not the land. You can own the land if you marry someone from Thailand and they own 51% of it. This keeps foreigners from buying everything up.
Thais seem to have an aversion to enclosed garages. I haven't seen a property on this channel yet that features a large attached garage. Not that it matters to me, since I can't own land there, which is a deal breaker.
