Since you've done many of wouldn't the measurments all be the same? Wouldn't I be able to cut the frame with your measurements?
Because the tilt of the engine can be slightly different on your bike we recommend doing it this way to make sure you make the perfect fit.

What happened to the frame that you cut too much off . Did you have to scrape it or could you repair it
And did you have to modding the kicker could I use my 2005 crf kicker on it without cutting the kicker to fit
