And he was saying how much better the 165hz monitor will be. That card will barely manage 60 fps in new triple a titles. And that’s with the settings turned down
Correct me if I'm wrong, but a GTX 1050 surely cannot play all the latest AAA games at at 60fps, let alone anywhere close to the 165fps of that monitor. I've still got a GTX 1080 from 4 years ago, and even that can't run Cyberpunk 2077 or Halo Infinite (for example) @ 1440p on decent settings at more than 50 - 55fps.

1050 is more than i had at 12. Would still run decently
Halo infinite is really poorly optimised, you need a 30 series to run it properly without making a lot of sacrifices really.
I just got rid of my old rig that had a 760 in it and it could just about run warzone/apex but not really at a playable framerate, a 1050 should be fine for any games like that.

A 1050? Even my old laptop had a 1050ti and that was bought 3 or 4 years ago (and I’ve moved on now to an iMac M1.) I’m not a gamer, just editor, but the 1050 seems like a low spec. What type of processor does it have? I7 at least?
i love it, but 1050 playing AAA games? maybe but not at anything over 50fps on the lowest settings.

Why do you always price everything in $ when you are in the UK not USA.
Perhaps majority of his viewers are from the USA, that or because sometimes it is easier to work out currency transfer from USD to other currencies. In my experience I have often seen in Southeast Asia they prefer to be paid in USD instead of their own currency.
