CFD of Cavitation in ANSYS Fluent using Multiphase Mixture Model- ANSYS Fluent Tutorial

  • In this tutorial, we will learn how to model cavitation in ANSYS Fluent. You can use this tutorial to model cavitation in pumps, turbines, propellers, orifices, etc.
    Results were reproduced for a test case given in ANSYS verification manual:
    VFML021: Cavitation Over a Sharp-Edged Orifice Case A: High Inlet Pressure.
    Experimental coefficient of discharge is 0.62 while we obtained a value of 0.628. CFD results provided in ANSYS verification manual have discharge coefficient of 0.631.

    I have taken vapour volume fraction as 0 but in solution not getting any contour for volume fraction. Why?
