Isn't it bad to have the pump at a pwm curve? I thought pumps need to be running at a constant power...

to get down the pump rpm is good, helped me with my h105 a lot, but the pump rpm should be stable... its not good for the pump to run on different rpm all the time

Fans vary a lot in price depending on brand and range. Price is also going to vary a lot depending which country you are from.

solution for the pump is to step down the fan speed from 1500 to 1200 using any step down adapter SP corsair fan series

I also want to run my pump on a curve because at full speed it makes that buzzing noise... Is it actually safe? How long have you been running it like that?

+SaladFingers Running it just fine dude, getting idle temps of around 30 degrees Celsius and 60 under load

the pump has only a 3 pin conector, just put it in cpu_fan and set DC mode in bios
