With this dash kit are you still able to control your dash display behind the steering wheel? I just recently had this kit installed in my 2015 Camaro and I cannot control or cycle through my display anymore.
I didn't see the point taking the screws off from the back of the original dash because I didn't see put anything from the original to the new dash. Video at 3:05. Unless you were trying just to get the black bracket

Some head units could have different wiring configurations that can vary. Unfortunately we do not have an installation video for any specific wiring set up.
From the feed back we have received and from the reviews on the product page, 6.95 inches or smaller is usually what will fit this dash kit. Head over to Phastek.com and Search "Pac Dash" and you can read the reviews from others that have installed this kit.

The unit used on this kit was a Pioneer. There are different models that will work, it is just a matter of finding the one that has the options you would like.
There is a dial that you can set for different brand for your steering wheel control, I believe Pioneer is #7 on the dial. It will interface with any model of Pioneer radio.
Hi, I do have a question: Can you connect the pioneer head unit you're showing in the video to the console USB plug thanks to your USB harness? I am asking because the Pioneer 4200nex requires a USB connection to run Android Auto, and their plug is a plain USB one on the read of the unit.
Loay Dakamseh Guages are handled by another piece of hardware in the vehicle, it won't affect it. This is only for Radio feature and steering wheel audio control.
This is just the housing to change the radio out in a 5th Gen. The bluetooth will come from the radio that the customer buys. This is basically the replacement housing facia.
This one is far superior than the other two in looks and functionality. I’m also not sure how you think adding an aftermarket stereo is not going to look “too aftermarket”. Not a single aftermarket stereo is going to look like it belongs in a 5th gen Camaro. None! And the non MyLink stereo is atrocious. This is a much needed upgrade if that’s what you have and it looks absolutely fine.

My 2014 doesn't have the door lock buttons, only the hazard. Will the door lock button work after the install?
I'm looking to install this kit in my 2012 LS, but there are no steering wheel controls, do I need to upgrade the steering wheel?
No, upgrading the steering wheel is not necessary. The functions for that would simply not be used.

Great looking kit! Would the unit integrate any OnStar features on a 2010 Camaro SS (for example, the call buttons on the rear view mirror)?

Those functions would be controlled by the headunit that is installed with the kit.
Will this kit work with any head unit? Say a Sony XAV 8100 or an alpine ILX f509? Both models are floating screens.

There is a USB retention harness within the kit that allows you to hook your Pioneer USB to the vehicle USB slot.

The navigation is based on your aftermarket radio. Your OnStar navigation will remains if your radio does not have navigation feature.

Michael Kinney that still works without a radio, it will no longer display what song is playing though. I could be wrong though
