Very handsome Michael.

Those flowers are the beautiful ,super hearty camellias .... early bloomers !
Oh I was just getting ready to say the same thing, I never wanted to go to Japan until I saw how much fun Stephanie seemed to have , simply wonderful
I really enjoyed it! So inspirational
Michael Potts always reminds me of Hugh Grant in his prime!
This has been the most amazing experience especially with the cherry blossoms, the ancient castle, the thermal springs and monkeys, dear friends and a special mention for Michael Potts, who's happy disposition and company is most welcome on any journey. Thank you for including us who may never visit Japan. What a place, stemmed with boundless history and traditions. Loved every minute with you Stephanie and many thanks 🙏💕
I am a retired airline flight crew member for 38 years and have seen a lot in my career but you must of done the best site seeing show ever ! It was so much fun seeing all of it again ! Now I know how much I miss Japan ! Thank you Stephanie ! 🌸💖👍
It's been so nice to have you and Michael and then you on your own. Just like old times. Really enjoyed these videos
I absolutely loved having this glimpse of Japan!
The Japanese eat healthy ❤love seeing you and Michael together ❤
Again I love Michael and his lovely smile🇨🇦🇨🇦
LOvsly to see see you with MIchael Potts and the two lovely chateau friends for breakfast. Have a lovely last day in Japan. Best to you all, David
You were brave to try the natto (sticky bean dish)
but it's one of the Japanese secrets of good health! 👌
Such a large bathroom on the train and the train seemed as clean as a brand new train.
The footage of the houses, the tree and the foggy mountains is amazing! I expect Michael will have a great shot of that! 😄🥰
I so admire your curiosity of all things and your courageous spirit of adventure
Loved the video of the walk with Lancelot. Marie, you sound so happy. Obviously LaLande is your happy place, the place where you belong. Enjoying the beauty of everyday things around you help keep you grounded and that is when happiness is experienced. Well done. Happiness is a personal achievement.
Oh, I love that airport hotel! I stayed there March 2023 and I couldn’t believe how wonderful it was. I recommended it to all my coworkers who were traveling with me throughout the year!
Thank you for the Japan tour.. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing it all! Beautiful.
You should plant some more Camilia bushes.
Seven years ago this week I was touring in Japan too. I encountered very 'English' weather during my visit as well but it didn't stop us doing anything and seeing so many places of interest and experiencing cherry blossom time.
You and Michael are such happy travelers. You make it fun to watch
Thank you for taking me along. So wonderful, special and different.
Japan is amazing! What an adventure.. … fun tip: watch out the window at the ground staff when your plane takes off.. they are so sweet they wave and bow 😊
Glad you had a great holiday in Japan Stephanie, everything you experienced looked amazing especially the stunning food. Thanks for including us in your trip, fabulous 😘🤗😋🙏🏻💯
Can’t wait to see u reunited with Phillip ❤ it’s just not the same without him. ❤
I really enjoyed these videos. My health keeps me from traveling but I love that I get to do it through your eyes 💜
The chef of the restaurant at the end was so sweet the way is said Bye!!! 🥺😍
A lovely, but short Ruby sighting❤ I wonder if he and Lancelot are friends. I guess Ruby is bigger than Lancelot. We used to have a ginger kitty like Ruby. The sweetest cat ever❤❤❤
I’m still trying to work out when Michael fitted in the Grand Prix at Suzuka!
Marie's shots of La Lande are nice (a different perspective). Lancelot is a happy kid. Wonderful travel. I wonder what happened to your luggage?
Yes! I was wondering if it ever caught up to her!!
It did arrive just in time before I left!
@@TheChateauDiaries lol, better late than never, blame it on mercury retrograde! 😋
Stephanie, thank you for sharing! It is a pleasure to be taken along. The company feels comfortable at ease, joy. .. hurried busy lives, the care you all share for each other is heartwarming. ❤
LOVE the photo @ 14:03 - Nice to see Michael P - my husband and I think of him at EVERY race!
Most wonderful experience thank you Stephanie for sharing such a delightful time with us
I really appreciate the Japanese aesthetic, everything you shared with us was so beautiful!
That is the nicest train loo I have ever seen. Very nice.
Last thing you need is another yellow outfit, but my goodness that yellow suit is stunning!😊
Thank you from the bottom of my heart Stephanie for taking us along, how beautiful everything was. Thank you 🌸🌸🌸
So glad you visited the vintage designer shops - they are amazing! You 100% should have bought those clothes and bag! They suited you well!
Thank you for such a wonderful view of Japan it looks very different from what I had thought it would be. So beautiful. Everything looked like a painting ❤
you found a truely special sushi restaurant
Thanks for another lovely days trip with you to Tokyo.
I thought your breakfast look delicious. Have fun shopping for the rest of your time there. Safe travels back to laLande. X Anna
Beautiful country but I'm with Philip on the "food situation"!..where is Ruth?
I love how Lancelot catches air with every bounce. I bet he could pull off a backflip!
Miss not seeing Sonya & Christopher! Just love your friends. Bonus visit with Michael thrown in! Need to revisit Sonya soon.
That cathedral is so stunning. I feel like I’m on vacation with you.❤
There are cities with large skyscrapers and a ton of people. You stayed in the right city by yourself. We stayed in a city with hardly anyone around too. We felt so safe. Yay! You had sushi!! Did you like all of them? Is it different from what you are used to? My family just came back yesterday, and I think you guys were at the same fair. I was searching for the video and couldn't find it. LOL it's on of your Patreon videos. I had to rewatch it to see if I could find them in the background. Nope! But their pictures of the blossom trees are beautiful at night too. Have a Safe trip back home.
Loved seeing Japan through your eyes and always see such beauty and learn so much when you travel bc you’re so kind to share. Thank you
Your narrative is of a higher and more powerful level when ur on your own… truly entertaining Stephanie… well done 🌈🌈🌺🌺😍
I'm not a fan of sushi but I am a great fan of Stephanie's vlog from Japan. What a wonderful adventure she has taken us on.
The streets of the area in Tokyo you visited are gorgeous!
Have thoroughly enjoyed your trip to Japan and learnt so much from it. Back in Lalande, put children's seaside 'windmills', if you can get them, into the mole hills. The moles don't like the whirring and vibration and they move on to pastures new😁
Amazing! Thank you! It is so difficult to get rid of moles!
Marie is an excellent substitute for Stephanie to walk us around the gardens 😂
Hi Stephanie from Round Rock, TX! I'm so glad you enjoyed your trip to the vintage clothing store. I think you should have purchased that Chanel bag. It was gorgeous! Safe Travels!
What a beautiful end to your holiday Stephanie! The Japanese breakfast looked indulgent. Perfect amounts to explore the delights of a morning meal. Your dinner looked even better. Sometimes window shopping is the best activity. It's easier than buying.Thank you for taking the time to share your holiday with us Stephanie. You really get the most out of every day.
Michael is so handsome
Thank you for this amazing experience of Japan - incredibly beautiful. Those outfits looked amazing on you - they show your lovely slim figure. I don’t know how you get any sleep editing and uploading videos on your trip - I am very grateful though.❤️The chateau gardens and forest area and dear Lancelot looked magical too.
Great adventure. The hotel bath looks divine. Marie's cam of the Camelia in bloom was perfect. The other side of the Chateau is so unbelievably beautiful in person, I am so glad you showed the perspective. It is incredible!
Loved seeing Japan through your eyes! Is it unusual that there were not many people out and about? Just seems a little odd? Curious about it! 😊
I am constantly amazed at how much food you can eat ! I eat two sushi and I'm done, full ! My assistants at work used to joke that I would tell them I was starving and after two bites was done but I do enjoy afternoon tea.
In our previous home we planted a mature garden which had 3 Camila bushes each over 6 or 7 ft tall, one bush was covered beautiful in bright pink flowers and had 1 deep red flower, and our 2 other bushes had similar quarks. After selling the house we built after 27 years to move to france the new residents daughter stripped the mature garden to create a seaside theme, covering the ground in sand. they took evey plant and shrub out, even all the old fish from pond lost out as she turned that into a paddling pool, even though we had an indoor pool.
When we visited friends next door they showed us over the fence and I cried. As I wish I hadn't sold it to them.
Japan is so mesmerising to the senses, I would be dreamimg all day long.
Have enjoyed every moment of your time in Japan absolutely fascinating. Where to next it's .Ike I was on holiday with you. Thank you for sharing and brightening a drab dreich day here in Bonnie Scotland.❤❤❤
Thank you Stephanie for showing us the streets and sights of Tokyo! It's amazingly clean everywhere in Japan! I did not expect such a high order of cleanliness! Sayōnara and many happy returns!
Dear Stephanie
You amazing live commentary on the breakfast itself was truly incredible….
So natural and authentic….
Delightful to watch your narration, on the food ,, your sensations on consuming it and the actual visuals of the foods… bellisima..!! 🌺🥳🤩😍
So many beautiful and interesting things on your trip. But it is also good to see Lalande and how grown up Lancelot is these days.
These Japanese travel vlogs have been such a treat!! Thank you for taking us along on your journey!!
thank you for a side of Japan I never imagined! beautiful stunning and inspiring !
Thank you for another wonderful adventure 😊❤😊❤
I really enjoyed your informative tour of Japan things looked so beautiful ❤
Fabulous trip. You are braver than I am. But what you said about not at least trying the food you’d never know.. made sense. ❤
I laughed so hard when Marie said you pee on the mole hole lol
Wow - that shop was amazing. You looked beautiful in that yellow outfit!
Loved this adventure so much. Thank you for sharing.
I don’t have a garden of my own (just a few pots) but now I want a camellia 💗
Excellent last Day! Such lovely companions curating an authentic, less crowded path!
Marie’s view of Lancelot stopping to pee on the molehills:priceless💕
Perfect vlog @TheChateauDiaries
Although I do wish you would have bought a kimono😊
I love that everything is so clean. Respect and keeping others & community property clean for everyone is something we need more of in Europe!!! Btw. more and more great wagyu meat farms in Germany! 🥩👌🏻What a trip it was. I also liked seeing you enjoy the different dishes! Thanks for taking us along! Best place to come Home Sweet Home to the people and chateau you love.
❤❤❤❤❤ Thank you so much Stephanie.
Lancelot and Marie are so adorable.
Thank you Stephanie this has been an awesome trip!
How I wish that you had stayed much longer. You presented an excellent “taste of Japan”
My son went to Japan last spring, so this was particularly interesting! I love that yellow suit you modeled !! Thank you, Stephanie, for always having such nice vlogs! Enjoyable, fun, and you tell the history of places so well, it makes me want to travel to them all!!! ❤
It is good to have a chance to see another outstanding place. Thankyou
Never really fancied going to Japan, but your vlog was really good and now I want to go😂
Yes so envious of clean trains. I always use hand wipes to clean my chair and area, guess what their are always filthy 😮!!! What our visitors must think 😢. The people i complain to only travel first class not with us, the masses. End of my gripe 😅. Anyway love the video safe journeys my lovely Stephanie ❤ x
If you want the busy streets, you should have also explored Shibuya, Shinjuku and Harajuku. Super crowded there.
I hope you get to come back to Japan because you only scratched the surface. There's a lot more to see and do.
Its so nice to see a travel vlog with someone who's not a chef, but just as curious about unfamiliar foods as I'm that way as well. I rarely ever see that online. For some reason food is like the last bastion of security and identity for many people, irl as well.
To me, it's such an important key to unlocking a culture and understanding it better, and full of interesting discoveries. I live Japanese food, and can't muster sushi that's been in a fridge for hours, so I save it for when I know I can have a really fresh experience and cook soups, dumplings and udon at home (lucky for me I gave a small but good Asian store in my neighborhood!). I'm a sucker for Vietnamese food too, and it's happily one of the fantastic cuisines Paris has to offer, so that's a Paris tradition for me, especially Phò. 😋
I loved the walk at Lalande too, isn't walking so much more enjoyable with an enthusiastic dog? I think so.
He's so cute, little Lancelot. Bon Voyage back home Stéphanie !
❤
I adore Pho as well, and I especially like the fresh Asian Basil they garnish it with , along with the 15-20 other herbs & spices they use ... especially the allspice and coriander!!
@@kindlydude Agree! YUM! Now I'm hungry again...
A great adventure, Stephanie. Thank you for sharing this with us. Bon voyage home to Lalande ❤️
In the previous vlog, you mentioned growing wasabi at La Lande, and it is totally possible! Trying to grow some in the La Lande stream might work for roots. If there's not enough sun, it could be grown in the garden for its delicious leaves. There's a big wasabi farm in Nagano open to the public. Next trip!
You’re very lucky that you had the breakfast you did! I had a Japanese breakfast at in Kyoto at a traditional inn. Among other things, I was served in a soup sized bowl of tiny little white fish with tiny black eyes and there must’ve been 50 of them! A surprising find when I lifted the cover. It really looked like ‘sperm fishies’!
Truly, the most engaging and magical RUclips host and channel. Love it from Canada!!
So curious how much that Chanel bag was 😊 thanks for taking us along, Stephanie! Japan was already on my travel list, now it has moved up 😊❤
That sushi place, damn I'm jealous !
Marie with Lancelot 💙 so lovely, she’s so gentle with him. ❤️
A Pet Garden would be nice now, catnip for Ruby and plants that the peacocks can munch the bugs around on.
Loved the trip! Thanks Stephanie❤
Steph, you should watch Bullet Train. There are a few Japanese train toilets in that movie 😂
So excited to see this today. I have so enjoyed getting to see Japan through Stephanie’s eyes.
I have really enjoyed this Japan tour and hope you get to return someday!
Thanks for sharing this! I've always wanted to see Japan. 💯❣️
I loved the last dinner of sushiI you had (& filmed so nicely too!). I just wanted to be there, it looked extraordinary and so delicious!
Very interesting and educational video! The wedding venue Cathedral was gorgeous! Admire their train system, minimalist lifestyle and their decor. Safe travels home. Thanks Stephanie🙏❤️
This was such a beautiful, and amazing piece, Stephanie... Thank you soon much for sharing it all with us!!!
