Christopher as a character just felt spoiled and entitled with everything from the way his food needs to be prepared to screaming if he doesn't get what he wants i.e. taking his math exam. His mathematical worldview was interesting but I kinda just felt bad for the parents. I agree that the book wasn't really a mystery as the mystery is solved half way in, and more so on the family dynamics and his growth which I was slightly disappointed in as I came in expecting something else.
