The Activator Method Chiropractic Adjustment

- Dr. Scott Taylor shows how the Activator tool can be used to perform chiropractic adjustments in this video. This instrument delivers a gentle impulse to mobilize specific vertebrae.
He demonstrates Activator adjustments on the cervical spine and lower back. While it's not the primary method used on younger, healthy patients, it's advantageous for those with osteoporosis, acute injuries limiting mobility, or anxiety about manual adjustments.
The Activator allows precise targeting of joints needing increased motion. The intensity is adjustable based on the patient’s needs. It’s a safe option to restore function when forceful thrust adjustments are not suitable.

As someone who is treated by this method it was informative 👍
Great and thorough explanation, doc!
Thanks a lot! Glad you found the explanation helpful!
Hey Doc Taylor, I absolutely love the video. From one chiropractor to another, it actually isn't called the Activator method unless your running the protocol with the leg checks and short long rule. Dr Arlan Fuhr would be rolling in his grave if he knew you were referring to the art and science incorrectly. Spring loaded instrument is a totally acceptable way to describe what's going on. I hope Chelsea gets better, she looks like she is on a lot of pain in the video. Continue doing the great work your're doing!!!
Thanks for pointing that out! I appreciate the feedback and will make sure to be more precise in future videos. And yes, we're doing everything we can to help Chelsea feel better. Thanks for the support!
A close up will be helpful, it is quite difficult to see what’s going on exactly.
Thanks for the suggestion! We'll definitely keep that in mind for our future videos to ensure you can see the techniques clearly.
Your explanation of the activator is pretty boring.
Sorry to hear that! I'll work on making future explanations more engaging. Thanks for the feedback!
