The Guide elaborates on the techniques used on the show. The examples given in the ruclips.net/user/postUgkxECnmSvBSv_NGWx4_ChD73pF3NYZwI2F3 are helpful and some of the techniques suggested very useful. One such technique/tool suggested was the lure stick to encourage a small dog to keep up with the heel command. I have a small dog who lags behind smelling any and everything and find it hard to keep bending over while walking to his level. The lure stick is great also for another dogs focus and sprinting at anything that catches her eye. The stories about different dogs, their different temperaments, have been helpful, especially Lulu's: After reading about Lulu's challenges I felt relief concerning one of my rescues that I have had for 10 years. Over many years I have checked out many training books from the library, watched different shows, DVDS, bought training books, taken lessons and this book is the best by far! Kindness, patience and perseverance works.

@Pinky can't thank you enough for your reply! I was seriously on the fence questioning whether the small would be long enough for my bud to lie down and stretch out in. Truly appreciate you and wish you and your fur baby the best🙏🏽🙌🏾
I would get one of these but based on the sizes available my husky will outgrow this as soon as he isn't a puppy! Hopefully they have a large size soon...but I'm kinda worried about that price tag 🤣 I do love this crate though!
I’d love one of these, too, but getting a standard golden doodle puppy, so need a larger one than they offer! Anyone have any recommendations of something close to this but for bigger dogs?
Such good training! We are getting a puppy this Friday and we have the crates set up in car and house. I did crate train my last dog and it helped him so much.
Love this video - we got a 5.5 month old pup from a rescue 2 days ago and they said she is crate trained and slept in it at night with no issues - both nights we've had her she cries for an hour. Two questions, 1. what are we doing wrong? 2. if they get up to go potty in middle of night do we just put her right back in? when we do she cries again :(
Dogs are situational, which means being comfortable in a crate in one place may not translate to the same thing in your home Start at step one, make the crate Disney land and go slow. You got this!
Need a video on how to get an 5 yr old to get used to puppy he is afread of. Her as long as he is going to her to snuff but if she come to him he backs away & shows teeth
My biggest issue is that I have dachshunds. My older girl is 4 and overweight which I know is ultimately my fault but before I got her I watched all the videos and did all the research and they talk about using food and treats. She is only food motivated and won’t play with toys. I just feel like I failed her. We just picked up our new pup yesterday so I’m really hoping to do things better this time and that she helps our older girl with being more active. I just wish more trainers would give ideas about small dogs that can’t eat nearly as much as larger breeds.
I bought this crate in a large to accommodate my Labrador Retriever puppy for his lifetime. It is huge and I can not fit it through the doorways of my home. I have to sadly return the crate. The large crate is also very heavy.
This video was by far the best that I’ve seen. I watched 3 before this video. My dog is barley liking his crate. Do I put him in his crate at night? I don’t want scare him if he is barley getting use to it.
Any chance we can get a video eventually of you doing some of the training tips with leaving the room and coming back? I just got a 14 week old pup and its been the first week and he really likes his crate (used your tips). He will go in there to nap or play himself if I'm working in the same room, he will let me put him in the crate and close the door while I am in my bedroom but out of sight..... so I know he likes the crate and uses it/trusts it.... but whenever I try to do anything with leaving the room he goes nuts. I try leaving and coming back quickly (10s for example) and that works the first 2 or 3 times, but after that if I leave even then he starts barking. Once he's worked up no matter how long I leave or how often i come back as soon as he is quiet, he just won't get it yet. I think patience is obviously the key, but I would love to see what you do once they actually love the crate. I've tried to avoid leaving so I can ease him into this using the crate tips, but I've had to go get the mail or go to the store once or twice. If I go to the store or something for 10 minutes he just goes bonkers 10 minutes straight. Do you think this stuff sets him back? Like if I leave for 10 minutes before he is at that stage he will start hating his crate? Feel really stuck here because obviously I want to ease him into it -- but at the same time there are going to be times I need to leave before the few weeks it takes him to get there!
Hi Rachel!🌸 So I was thinking of getting a dog and a cat. I just wanted to know if I should get a cat first, a dog first or at the same time.💐 Anyway your videos are really enjoyable and helpful! Keep up the good work!🌻
I would recommend one at a time, new pets take a lot of work and getting two would prevent you from spending individual time with each. Make sure you do your research and match the pet with the amount of time you can spend with the pet. Also, adopt or shop responsibility. Best of luck!
I m good. Travel crate is the best. It breaks down also, you can travel with it, and it gives them a sense of protection. This is just a glorified metal crate. Put plastic trim on it and charge them triple. Lol. I also never had a metal crate collapse on me, or pinch a finger. It’s like stabbing your gum and tongue using a fork
I’ve been watching your videos and purchased this create for my new puppy coming soon. Would you make a video that how to train 8 weeks puppy with this crate with a divider? I really want to train my puppy with this crate to be able to sleep / be in there comfortably. I got playpen as he will be 8 weeks, however I love ti use this crate on the first day he comes. Again, thank you for your tips!!
Getting puppy in 2 weeks... his life with me will start with 8h drive in a crate while I drive solo ... and then we will get home late and have to go to sleep... in the crate ... my puppy will have ptsd 😅
Watching all of your videos to prepare for our new fur baby I really love this crate but not sure about the size and if my dog mini labradoodle will grow out of this. How is Wally fitting into the crate now?

These products look stellar (I’ll definitely be checking out the groov tool)! I can’t get enough of this channel 🙌❤️
I’m watching your premier live Rachel and I love you so much and just know your amzing l!
I ordered my Diggs crate the other day! +the groov tool! I can’t wait to use it. Thank you for all these super helpful videos
I get to bring my puppy home in 10 days, and I just ordered this crate!
Such good training! We are getting a puppy this Friday and we have the crates set up in car and house. I did crate train my last dog and it helped him so much.
I can’t wait for your video!
Love this video - we got a 5.5 month old pup from a rescue 2 days ago and they said she is crate trained and slept in it at night with no issues - both nights we've had her she cries for an hour. Two questions, 1. what are we doing wrong? 2. if they get up to go potty in middle of night do we just put her right back in? when we do she cries again :(
Dogs are situational, which means being comfortable in a crate in one place may not translate to the same thing in your home
Start at step one, make the crate Disney land and go slow. You got this!
Me and my family are getting a poodle so your videos are very helpful!🥰🐩
Need a video on how to get an 5 yr old to get used to puppy he is afread of. Her as long as he is going to her to snuff but if she come to him he backs away & shows teeth
Hi Rachel!! what other crates would you recommend that are a bit more affordable?. Sadly this goes out if my budget :(
Go onto Facebook marketplace, craigslist, or even your local thrift shops but I would call them To see if they have them before going all over town.
Thank you I get my Corgi next month! I used your code thanks :)
Hiiii😄❤ I love you, you have helped me so much!
What size is Wally's crate? The $245 or the $325?
I can never remember your name right 😭😭😆 I legit just typed in rachel suffaro trying to find your channel lol
I’m mg her videos are so helpful
Don’t care about the crate I already have one…what do I do to get him to like being in there
Thanks for the tips. Bringing home our puppy tomorrow and we wanted to start crate training.
I bought this crate in a large to accommodate my Labrador Retriever puppy for his lifetime. It is huge and I can not fit it through the doorways of my home. I have to sadly return the crate. The large crate is also very heavy.
Rachel can you come live at our house for a week to train our baby!😁
Yay new puppy video I love these! ❤️🦮
I need to control my dog from breaking thing while I’m at work
Can’t wait for the video
You are great.
Would you do the same for an older puppy?
This video was by far the best that I’ve seen. I watched 3 before this video. My dog is barley liking his crate. Do I put him in his crate at night? I don’t want scare him if he is barley getting use to it.
Great video! Very informative!
Do you know who Wally's mom and dad are? We got a puppy from the same breeder over the weekend and they look very similar.
I feel like all this is is trying to promote the crate. I want tips faster than 15 minutes.
Hi Rachel!🌸
So I was thinking of getting a dog and a cat. I just wanted to know if I should get a cat first, a dog first or at the same time.💐
Anyway your videos are really enjoyable and helpful! Keep up the good work!🌻
I would recommend one at a time, new pets take a lot of work and getting two would prevent you from spending individual time with each. Make sure you do your research and match the pet with the amount of time you can spend with the pet. Also, adopt or shop responsibility. Best of luck!
I would say get the cat first because cats take a longer time to get used to things.
Thanks for your opinions
I was wondering what you put at the bottle of a train in puppy mode since Diggs doesn’t have a bed that fits.
Thanks for the great tips!🥺
I love Kong crates!
I need this omg 😱😱
Great videos. Can you do a video on puppy regression with crate training? Seemed okay at first but now at 4.5 mos, Lord help us at bedtime! 😳 Thanks-
He was biting hahah
Watching all of your videos to prepare for our new fur baby I really love this crate but not sure about the size and if my dog mini labradoodle will grow out of this. How is Wally fitting into the crate now?
