Hello bro. Last night i already update my r36s to arkos ( 4/27/2024). Successfully even take 4 hours. Then i update installed core, download all core and download the scraper. In the morning i restart the console and the theme is change. And i go to stary menu and the option for ui theme is disappear.

be very wary on this update method . mines stuck on the black screen , tryed flashing new update to new card and still nothing ,.... THANKS !! 😪😪😪

where do you recommend to download ROMs (PS1, PSP…) from ?
I can't recommend anything since I haven't downloaded such games myself. They were pre-installed when I bought the console.
When i pressed ok to finish the update, the console didn’t restart and now its just black screen. Like it doesn’t work anymore, any help?

mine doesnt load any games now, just shows a basic image of a game boy with Ark os please wait, then back to the menu :(

What's new in this update ?
Each update has its own improvements. The current version is currently ArkOS V2.0 (05242024)
This doesn't work for me. When I connect the r36s to my phone, the phone starts charging and the "USB Tethering" option in android is grayed out.
(Obviously I used the OTG port)
I've tried it with two different Android phones already. Android 12 and Android 14
As I said, this method does not work with all models of Android smartphones. I don't know why manufacturers block this feature.
@@Blogoodf I figured it out. The problem isn't the phone, it's the R36S. Not sure why, but it's kind of a shitty device - it doesn't work with a "good" usb-c cable. You have to either use a garbage cable, or what I did was use the cable that shipped with the device (usb-c to usb-a) and then use a usb-a to usb-c dongle so you can plug your phone in.
I've also noticed that it doesn't work both ways. The dongle-side has to be connected to the R36S, while the native usb-c side has to be connected to your phone. Then it will finally appear as a device to your phone and you can change the usb-mode to USB Tethering 🤷🤷

@@tundrastreaming Thank you! I thought I had tried all weird cabling methods as I know my phone can do usb tethering and this worked! Had to try a few USB A to C cables though. And as you say, the cheapest one I had actually worked haha

You have three options:

What does the update provide?
It’s a very strange question. Each update differs from the previous one. Typically, updates are meant to fix a range of issues and aim to improve system stability. I talked about this in more detail in this video 👉 ruclips.net/video/czoq91PKJtk/видео.htmlsi=6mzRNZm_i_ANnWpc
It’s a perfectly acceptable question. The point is why should we upgrade? Does it bring new features etc? Why would someone upgrade if they have no issues, and there’s always a risk of the upgrade failing which you failed to mention. Probably best to tell people to backup their SD card before starting? As you off no help if the system fails to upgrade.
@@em00kVery good point. My system has 2.0 2022 Version and its running well so I don't think am going to update it because I see slot of fail attempts using this method he used.

You have a problem with boot files on the BOOT disk. This is due to a poor quality SD card or a failure during the update. I advise you to Google a solution to the problem or contact Discord discord.com/channels/529983248114122762/654277530462978059
Same problem what was the solution? I just connected the phone and updated in the menu of the 36s when finished it said restart push button and only shows black screen. After loading it shows a boot screen after the screen turns white and sometimes sound is playing.

Press the Start button, navigate to the UI Settings section, then go to Visible Systems, and at the bottom, check the Options[SD1] checkbox.
I get is as a fake. I've used Galaxy S23 Ultra and Poco X5. than 3 different usb-c to usb-c cables. There is no option to enable the usb tethering

If you're not able to see USB enable whenever you plugged in the cable, it means that that cable you're using is not the right USB supported cable. Not all cables are compatible. It happens to me and after trying a few different cables it is enabled once the correct cable is inserted.
