Ok that black bar, no idea why its happening. Or rather no idea how to fix it. Sorry for that, at least its only there for a few seconds
Whats the best class for farming legendary gear in borderlands 2
@@mysteriousboy7913 There isn't a "best" in this game. All situational.
@@LazyData ok ty
@@LazyData gun... Gunzerker.

The new DLC and equipment are just MADE For Axton. What a treat! Peak Opener is just fun as hell! And that new grenade Electric Chair....just WOW! I run a “Shock Trooper” Slagga, Peak Opener, Hector’s Paradise, Shock Badaboom, Antagonist, Electric Chair, Shock Bone and Legendary Soldier. I never really used shock that much in BL2 except on special occasions/some bosses. But the new DLC just makes Shock fun as heck.
Man, that Peak Opener is ridiculous! The Antagonist is awesome as well, although I hate it when the homing slag ball hits your projectiles. This is especially aggravating with Torgue weapons.
I usually use the blockade but havn't farmed OP10 dragons yet. But yes! The new DLC was a huge buff for Axton, Peak opener and the Double up gemini combo. So good.
Holy shit, I just noticed that you came back to making BL2 videos. You're without a doubt my favorite Axton player.
@@staviersss8039 Really? Thanks, man! I myself enjoy watching guys like Lazy, Demonite, and all the players in the raid boss time trials.
More info is better especially with the amount of new players in the community.
Yeah I figured. even though these builds are for lvl 80 OP10. Anyone who gets to that level knows what the skills do. But new players look at them anyway so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@LazyData as we all know certain skills sound great but in practice are poor. Just gives new players a heads up. Keep up the good work 👍
@@KellysHeroes777 just loaded up that oldschool 2012 save, farming up! Love the amount of content all BL2 youtubers are putting out, definitely helps :)
@@LazyData I thought he explained very well.
Been playing for years but never been Axton. Thanks for the in-depth breakdown
Just started playing this for first time. I love it! Solid video. Thank you for the info!
I know U said that you’re not getting longbow turret for the deploy range but the deploy range is still awesome and allows you to strategically place your turrets in better areas!
Big shoutout to all the Axton players out there!
I didnt watch your maya guide but this was the perfect amount of info thank you
Thanks lazy for the build. Happy Birthday
I am years late, but I just started playing BL2 again, it has been a decade lol. I am about to finish the first playthrough of the story, but I got to be real I didn't even know there were raids in this game. I'll have to google it and see if they are doable still since I doubt I can get a team together in 2025. I'll be testing this build for sure though, thanks my dude!
@@edward_the_bruce hiya! Raids are absolutely doable solo in Borderlands, they scale per player count. You do need alot of damage though. A Bee shield will be a must until you get a more advanced grip on what does damage.
You'll see OP10 or OP8 mentioned alot, its a post leveling system after level 80 but honestly they're poorly done, they're extra leveling if you want bulkier enemies. Playing OP0 is good fun.
Definitely an underrated class Axton is a Fuckin beast
I basically run the same thing except I go Scorched Earth instead of Mag Lock. I like the turrets being able to help out with a bit of extra splash damage. I made my Axton look like TF2 Soldier and I run the Badaboom most of the time, currently on OP6 trying to finish those OP levels and finally farm for the best gear. Rocket Axton is fun as hell
Some interesting choices. Points in weapon swap over gun damage seems like a mistake. Also i think most people take quick charge in the survival tree for the bee shield synergy.
Axton's swap speed is beyond nuts. In gameplay you are swapping alot. It saves more time in an engagement than a small amount of grunt. Without it you just become sluggish and more limited to one weapon, less access to slag, etc.
It’s not
Good build. Forbearance is awesome for the status effect duration reduction and able is overkill if you use any moxxi weapon. Personally, I use nuke with ranger on the community patch because they got buffed quite a bit, and the knockback the nuke provides is awesome. I avoid gemini because it's annoying having to throw out 2 turrets in the heat of combat, but I admit it is extremely effective
For gemini is nice so you get 2 nukes for every cooldown vs 1
good guide! I get a lot of topnea's tinder as well.
impressive
The main problem with most builds is that they include pink weapons which in order to acquire, you need to kill a raid boss. Which is hard enough as axton
You should try Axton in the UCP. Among a number of other changes and buffs, Resourceful and Crisis Management's positions in the skill tree get swapped, Crisis Management and Forbearance both get changed to provide Damage Reduction, and CM gets boosted by Legendary Pointman along with Grit. 60% Damage Reduction (10/5) + 40% Chance to Ignore Death (10/5) is pretty freaking sweet.
Starting out on Axton. which tree do you start on? My Axton play through is level 34 and starting TVHM and beginning to feel really weak. Any help would be appreciated. I caught your stream on the Borderlands Twitch channel yesterday. Fantastic job both here and there!
Glad you enjoyed the stream! For Axton I tend to do left tree for Double up, onslaught, ready etc. Then middle to pick up those damage skills. Then I go right tree to end it off.
@@LazyData Thanks so much for the reply. I'll do just that. One of my problems is not using the turret enough. For some reason I end up forgetting about it half the time. :)
I think you are making a pretty big mistake with those points in resourceful. The diminishing returns on cool down rate is pretty high, especially with the coms bonus and that of the legendary engineer extra points there. I would say 1-3 as it seems with bone and com it’s just overkill. There would be times where you might have just a soldier com and then it would be good, but even then the difference between 65% and 75% cool down rate isn’t that large anyway. Obviously it can still help to have more but with just 3 instead of all five you could get 5 into Grit which I think outweighs the second or two. Just seems like a bit of a waste is all. Especially with engineer as that’s 100% without bone and with bone is complete overkill
It cools it down faster 😂, there is no wasted skills
i like the kerblaster better than the peak opener
The highest character I have is a level 68 krieg named the meat king
Do you mind posting the save files. Thanks in advance
What would you recommend for those who don't have the Lilith dlc
as a forever axton main, i really enjoyed the build. i usually only spec into forbearance if im trying to farm dragons, its a lifesaver there. otherwise ill just toss the points elsewhere. i really do like scorched earth for clearing weaker mobs, but my build is really just geared to mobbing alone and less generalist (i dont like bossing in bl2 anymore cause i barely have people to play with)
good build. I like it. peak opener is fantastic. try toothpick also very good AR from this DLC
Nice video
Nice one!
where may i download
How do you get that head for Axton? The shift code video I watched didn’t work
Great clip
It seems like Phalanx Shield is immediately going down though. I would probably put that point into Quick Charge, to be honest
It blocks various raid boss attacks. EG: Hyperious nova
LazyData Doesn’t the naked turret already do that though?
@@ivarhaugseth7973 no
Which head skin is that? Looks good!
Goddess of wisdom
@@LazyData how do you get it bro?
Im still not sure why not get rockets on your turret? It still shoots bullets and slag. The rockets do massive damage and make mobbing easier imo
The rockets don't do slag, but any more of bullet reflect means the turret annihilates itself.
@@LazyData ok, gotcha. Thx for reply
long shot - but did you ever start or publish your op10 builds for all BL2 vault hunters?
I di a video for Krieg, gaige, axton, and maya.
@@LazyData thank you I didnt see if they had build in title but I know you did melee Krieger and showed fun shield with garage. I assume those and if not I shall search your entire library thank you :')
@@joekerthewizard Yeah those two are what i did to cover those characters. Then the Maya video is much shorter and more condensed
@@LazyData aces just wanted to ask.im case you had secret videos :-) as always your a legend and love your twitch and youtube
@@joekerthewizard Appreciate you!
Dunno if it’s my luck or not but grit seems to be way higher chance than it says it is. I often get grit to happen like 10 times in a row
With grit you get fake procs. Sometimes it can activate if you get health gated, even if you were going going to go down it can roll.
Why no Hail?
Great video, I'm 99% with you but can't understand how raw 16% gun damage from impact doesn't beat steady?
(I also fastball, but usually just to get up, and don't have to get up often)
In the end it depends what guns you're using. But impact is additive and steady is multiplicative. Also recoil is a nice QoL. And rocket launcher damage for Badaboom. But if you know you're never using guns with splash. (ie non torgue and maliwan) then yeah you can go impact.
Man one question is it level 72 is the max level in the original game
Original game? as in BL1? LVL 69.
BL2 Vanilla = LVL 50
BL2 with UVHM packs 1/ 2 = LVL 61 / 72
BL2 with the above and fight for sanctuary = LVL 80
@@LazyData Well am playing on Xbox 360 cuz i miss that console and am playing with out dlc packs so the last level is 50 for me then or 72 is max level?
@@lyonchemsou1827 Xbox 360 could get 72. Whether or not you have the uvhm packs is on you. Play the game and see?
@@LazyData alright bro thank you
@@lyonchemsou1827 you should buy "fight for sanctuary" dlc, so that you can up all characters to level 80
Which mask skin do you have on that Char and how do i unlock it
Icecold Angel Google “Axton as Athena shift code” if you haven’t already found the answer.
@@skechij5856 thank you really i appreciate that and didnt foubd that
Why no last ditch effort? I find that to be one of his best skills, couples well with do or die.
If i'm throwing damage nades for second winds I'm not shooting. If im throwing transfusions for slag I heal and lose the bonus. Not worth the points.
@@LazyData makes sense
Is there a save file
Why do you get Xp with every kill despite being max level?
I think it's cause he gibbed his save, not sure though.
I used a save editor to lower my exp after reachin 80 so I got XP gains again. Doesn't do anything. I just like seeing the popups
LazyData ok makes sense thanks
Ya gotta hand it to those bloodshots, makes great cannon fodder, no bloodshots we're harmed during this guide, well....their was...SCREW IT it's borderlands anyways, anyways torgue? Care to do the honors
Torgue: EXXPLLOOOOOOSIIIOOOOOONS!!!!
Would be nice if you explained how the skills are working while gameplay. But great video tho.
Don't get me wrong I can see what you are doing there. Its just too quiet without talking.
Most of em are self explanatory. More damage! Take less dot damage! The ones that need explaining like Sentry, I do explain.
I call omg binary
Grit is a great skill what are you smoking.
I know right
skips healthy lul absolutely haram
neo: am i a joke to you?
Yo Lazy, can you drop a save file? I'm a Siren main and I want to really play Axton but can't be bothered to start from scratch. Great video as always XD
There's a new option from the Select Character screen to start a new character that immediately begins at level 30. You'll spawn at the start of the Commander Lilith DLC with all the Normal Mode story missions completed except Talon of God. You can then go kill Jack and immediately start TVHM, or do all the sidequests and DLC for Normal.
ineex the save game
أنت بخير؟
Bruh u dont put the rockets are u not okay or ? Cause that is the most helpful rockets in the sentry guns
I explain in detail why I don't use rockets.
boop
as far as I know resourceful isn't a worthwhile skill, same with maya's left tree skill that increases cooldown rate.
Hey there! Can anyone In the comment section or the creator of this video could help me with something? What is the best way to get the legendary soldier?
Personally for the main legendary class mods I like to farm the legendary loot midgets in the wildlife preserve. There'll be a million videos on that farm. There's also a loot midget farm in DLC 5, fight for sanctuary.
If you don't have those available, my next stop would be tindersnowflake's train chest.
LazyData thanks, I have handsome collection so I got all those dlcs
LazyData I got it, thanks so much
@@Brock73 btw, the fight for sanctuary dlc isnt the part of handsome collection, you can buy it for 15 dollars in steam
Aryo Putro I realized that after he responded lol
Dude this is a bad build, no SCORCHED EARTH? i know turret damage is not spectacular but slagged enemies being barraged with 44 rockets does consistent damage and kills lower mobs. You also skipped perhaps the best defensive skill in the entire franchise, GRIT. Also some skills you picked are so useless, like FORBEARANCE which is only slighly useful when youre under elemental effect which is rare, QUICK CHARGE is also one of the lesser useful kill skills.
The classic look at the tree, type out a long post showing your displeasure without listening to any reasoning or anything.
@@LazyData No i actually did see the entire thing..thats why i gave my own reasoning too.
@@LazyData forbearance and quickcharge suck you stupid idiot why dont you roll a dice as your defensive skill instead? fuckin loser not shooting rockets out of his turret !
@@glorbus69 no need to be nasty. Lazy-D is trying to be helpful.
