This week i head out for a couple of hours on a quick reconnaissance mission to check out a field thats about to be drilled with crops to see if its worth detecting after harvest, and Wow! Double Silver in just two hours. Join me on another adventure as i take my metal detector and walk the historical landscape of our ancestors finding pieces of our history lost through time, unearthing treasures and the every day items that belonged to the people that once called this beautiful British landscape home. Brilliant that mate, what a strong 7 minutes of metal detecting. That field looks huge, its like you have a whole Rodney Cook kinda permission all to yourself. Has to be multiple gold hammered on that place. Enjoyed that, keep it up youth

Looks like you’ll be busy on this new permission next year. That’s great planning and will be rewarded with those early results being a marker. Brilliant finds with plenty more to come no doubt. Maybe treasure from a hammered era being likely. Yes, a busy year ahead, we’ll done.

The item at 3.00 looks like a 30 ft. marker off a "gunters" chain. This was a 100ft chain used for surveying.👍
