I find it interesting you guys like the forgotten Ford's..Torino falcons...I know everyone likes mustang 64-69 mustang, but you don't see Torino, falcons around
We like weird stuff@@richdetlaff-5983
@@richdetlaff-5983w1q
Maybe a Fairline
I would like to see you get the creme colored one going. The one where you guys thought it would be funny if the front took off and the rear stays behind. That would be a neat trick with a rear wheel drive.😂😂 I would imagine the hoods are bent up same as the square bodies did, hinges froze up and someone tried to force it open. Some cool looking cars out there, you guys are like me, it's fun just to walk around and look at all the cars. To see what people left in them ( I've gotten some nice tools and other misc crap), to see some of the wild and sometimes sketchy ways people modified. Years ago I could always spot 5 or 6 of my own vehicles, back in the 80's people didn't keep the stuff we would now. Anyway, cool vid love seeing the old fastbacks.
These Cars Need To Be Restored! Plenty Of Them Are Nice Classic 😀
Who wants to see us save one of these classics from the junkyard?!
Hey I really appreciate the video I've been looking for a project car and I think I caught my eye on one in there thank you man
@@ronnorman1367 absolutely !
I need one muscle car project , but im in Spain ...
@@ferminamantedelosclasicos1979 do y'all have junkyards in Spain?
I was excited to see many ford mustangs fox body there. I was hoping they would have a 1985 foxbody mustang lift back with a sunroof and baby blue with two tone colour blue and bottom is black with V6 engine.
That Rx7 fc looks complete. Im sure it would be a great purchase for someone buying it. Also the red mach 1 looks like its asking to be saved
looks like a mach 1 clone. If they are for sale im interested in it
The rx7 was mint, hope somebody buys it.
That red Mach 1 is the one begging to be saved.....
Absolutely
I had a fully loaded 1968 Mustang off the showroom floor, $3,949, which was a lot for a new Mustang back then, but it was 302 V8-automatic, with every single option they had, cream exterior black interior and chrome all over it. I had to sell it to go to college...I should have kept it and sold it later lol.
I always considered Junkyards to be the Graveyard for cars....
At some point in time, these cars were at it's peak and had memories with it's owners...
And now, here they are... Dead in a junkyard...
Lucky the owner sells these for parts to help other cars get back on the road
@@Rustomod agree with you......
They aren’t technically dead because they can all be saved
@FireDemon 216 Yes but most of their parts would require lots of money and time... especially for older versions
Just began watching this - thanks for starting with the Cougar. My 67 xr7 is a 4-speed, 289 A code.
That’s awesome I love those I had a 67 289 4 speed wish I kept it.
This cool junk yard
IF YOU WANT TO SEE MORE CARS CHECK OUT PART 2 OF AN ADDITIONAL LOT BY THE SAME OWNER! ruclips.net/video/jTTXbWIeoWo/видео.html
I do
Where is that junk yard located
from where i come from in the rust belt all of those fastbacks are worth saving
Some of these are really bad but a few are definitely worth some money for sure could definitely be a good project
Great selections. Those two complete bucket seats from that 69 Stang would do me good.
First few minutes watching this I can recommend go with a straight 6, check the breaks, transmission, radiator, carb and electrical system this list should help you before the sun goes down❤
Them Foxbody parts are worth they weight in gold👌
that looks like a hot wheels collection because of how colorful the cars are
The red Mustang at twelve minutes in should be in his barn, it is a big block and if it has the original engine in it it is a collector. Signed-Richard.
Some cool stuff in there.. Found my first 354 Hemi in a place like that...Lots of memories in junkyards...
I wish there were more places like this still around!
That first black fairlane was a 65 one year only body style!
Greetings from the UK its wonderful to see this yard .In the UK those cars would have rusted into the ground decades ago!
Interesting! I’m glad these still have some decent parts left.
@@Rustomod if you do a search and type in UK classic car scrapyard you'll see how they return to the earth!
@@FenderTele not in Scotland, they are kept for only 3 months then fully crushed, shredded and recycled
That 63 with a sport top looks totally savable
I know!
I would get that Calypso green or Reef blue 90-93 mustang LX and build a saleen replica. Take a look at a calypso green foxbody Saleen mustang..They are sick.
A awd mustang ll would be sick actually
2:35, love to have that roof.
The Mustang II saved Ford from bankruptcy.
I want to see more then one being saved
Those three spoke wheels are lovely to look at, but they're metric and the rubber is very expensive!
84 turbo cars? Bfg metric tires
I love the 65 mustang
Yeah I agree with it get that running buddy
I think that fastback is a cyclone
The yard owner should take any amount for these. The people who are able and want to save these are shrinking. 20 years from now none of these will be in demand.
Think, do you want any original 40s or 50s rides?
I know I do haha
Great video!
Thank you !
The yard needs some goats to keep those weeds down.
FORD COUNTRY!! Where is this place?? Old and newer. Pintos, 2"s, TRX's, Fox's, Cougars. would luv to walk thru this place. Saw the hood I was looking for! Glad it is not that place in GA.
Indianhead MD
Foxbody heaven, I seen so many good parts. Gonna have to go there one day
You may think those are rough but being from Illinois where they simply don't exist anymore due to rust, these are clean.
That’s good to know lots of good parts left
Yeah get a V8 mustang running and going I love the fox man that's just me but any V8 mustang would be cool to get it running and driving definitely got some cool rods in there
I'm wondering you know just think about it I live in Maryland grew up in Anne Arundel county I think it's pretty cool that trucks down in that yard
Yeah very cool
13:15 I love the bullet birds too, especially the swing away wheel
15.11 save the falcon 😊👍
Love falcons
I had a 73 bankers special ,302 hi po, c4, vinyl top, Brown/Brown with flat black hood center..man I miss that ride.. (Fox Platform) people
Ford guy like me. Dream yard
Right!
Me to
69 or 70 Mach 1 Fastbacks worth Savin
I think you should definitely get the yellow mustang running
Awesome video!!!!!! I have a question about this yard. Do they sell entire cars with a title that does not say salvage on it?? There are a bunch of 71-73 fastbacks that I am interested in checking out. A good friend of mine has a 66 Mustang, and a 99 Cobra. I might also be interested in the Centurion conversion van, and that ramp truck / roll back as well. Those firetrucks didn't even phase me at all. I live less than 1500 feet away from a fire house that is VERY active.
I’m not sure I believe some have titles you’d have to call and ask. The lot is located in indianhead MD.
@@Rustomod TYVM!!!!!
dont need a title on 84 and older cars
@@fortheloveofnoise9298 Where I live, in ILLannoy, we have to show proof of ownership in the form of a title, before they will allow you to put license plates on it, and if it has already been issued a salvage title, they will not allow you to put plates on it.
@@Rustomod what is the yards number
you should have seen the junk yards in the 80s fantastic
I wish I had a Time Machine
Yep. I bought quite a few really nice vehicles , and gave more than a few back that were better than half the crap on em now.
Everything who has a beginning has an end. Even cool cars sadly ends up in that end.
Thanks for the tour!
Of course! Thanks for watching
Look how cool everything is..
Dual fastbacking got me 😆 🤣 😂
You hit the jackpot!
Awesome video. Never knew they were there.
Me we need classic cars back to life
Right!
Get it running.
My dream is to have a Mustang II.
Car not mentioned at 19:40 appears to be a 1966 Mercury Monterey standard 4dr (not Breezeway). Looks almost patina free & a potential saver. Give it some polish & it will look good.
Yes mercury looks very solid
What "hurts" me te most, is that a lot of classic cars should be stored protected from the outside elements.
If i did have a scrapyard, i would store all potential valueble classics inside.
I'm betting you would change your mind after spending a fortune putting up buildings to store em all. It's surprising how fast they accumulate. A lot of those cars are gonna rust inside or out without putting a lot of effort into cleaning off all the salt, and protecting them from rust spreading. Trust me, I've thought about the same thing quite often. Most these cars would do o.k. if they're far enough away from main roads that get salted, kept out of the dirt and grass, and kept sealed up. I'm sure you've seen by now that covering up with tarp etc. a bad idea. It is definitely sad though to see all the old metal, and think about what they used to look like.
9:54..what's with Ford's hoods being so thin, weak and flimsy from the mid '60's?..the hood on my '67 Falcon project car is kinked at the hinge and feels weak and flimsy like this, and the hood on my '66 Galaxie daily driver feels almost as flimsy, and it is kinked on one side and a previous owner has welded on a brace underneath...none of the '60's-70's GM cars I have owned had hoods that did this(Novas, etc.), and they felt much more robust and you didn't feel afraid you were going to fold it when you opened and closed them..were they made from thicker metal?...I do remember the '73-'80 GM squarebody trucks having hoods that kinked if you didn't keep the hood hinges oiled...
Get that '66 Pony running!
+1 for the will it run on the banana cream one
+2
You should make a build out of the junkyard
I’d really like to! We’re definitely going back for some more videos hopefully get a car running out of there!
Just a 1000 mustangs in 1 spot I think I need a picture of that
At least it's a good start of a good idea is he collecting the problem
Parts high hard to find talk copart dm iowa
Contact mustang club website sell part
Definitely !
where is this place
Indian Head Maryland
I wonder if theres a way to pick up a few of those fastback... If they're for sale I hope?
You would have to call and ask the number is in the video. Nice guy so i'm sure he can help you out.
@@Rustomod Ah good deal, thanks m8! Wonderful video btw, not too many treasures like this left to discover!!
I'll tell you what how about you get the first Fairlane with the hood scoop going where the engine is just thrown in there and get that running you'd be the first
People are talkin about that with the first Fairlane with the hood scoop you mentioned I got 19 hits on that mention alone
Awesome video of our yard bro!
Thanks for letting us come!
@@Rustomod absolutely man, maybe we can collaborate on something for both our channels
Um sonho para todos os amantes de muscle cars, Um sonho americano🥺
That rollback was probably somebody's race car hauler and there was probably a sleeper in between cab and the car rack
Or someone just set that cab on the chasis-good way to keep it out of the dirt and grass. Would be a badass looking ramp truck for sure. Now they referred to that as a cabover, but I always thought those would be a stubnose if you can access motor without lifting cab.
plz do one of the 70 mach one's
Kind of place you buy one to fix and 6 more for parts …. I’d go broke there !!
I'm going to go there when I'm old enough and I'm gonna fly over there and restore one of them
Anyone else notice the regular coupe had long tailights. Btw the roof cut was gt Torino/fairlane
Nice some 4 eyes 5.0,,,grab them now
Grab that cab over! Those are worth serious money now
Should deffo try save the red mach 1 on thtumbnail
This was very interesting, love them fairlanes/comets, ECT, 😁👌🇺🇲👍
Save as many as you can
Pick one and hell yeah get it running!!!
Now that's what I call a candy store
👍
Enjoy your videos
do they sell whole cars?
I’m not sure you’d have to call and ask
This is off 210 highway in Southern, Maryland. I use to have scouts with the owner's kids. I'm not a Mustang fan at all, but I have been there
I thought this was near me. Good ol Mike's mustang. Great place
@@mattproctor7593 that's it man 💪
@Not A Garage where u from? Somd?
@@mattproctor7593 yeah I'm from Charles County. In La Plata. Grew up near this in Bryan's Road, moved to Waldorf, then La Plata. I was in Port Tobacco off rt 6 until I moved out of state. If you're the Proctor's I'm thinking of, I think you know my brother Jonathan. He went by Schlub
@Not A Garage... idk ur bro. I'm not related to any of the Proctors in somd. My folks r from NY and just so happen to have one the most popular last names when we lived in brandywine. I'm the whitest Proctor u will ever meet. That what they always told me. I worked at the junkyard and ppl couldn't believe there was a Proctor that wasn't related to them and white lmao
I want to see you save all of them
Check out our newest video!
Enjoy your video
Morrison and Dean would feel at home at Gary, especially with those early american designs...
So Sad!! legendary Rides ..... Fox body Mustangs ..... 😭😭😭😭😭😭
Get the DJI Osmo Action Camera, it has great stabilization. Or a gimbal
How is it everyone knows where to abandon their classics except Me? Well Where Is it. I need to know where to abandon my Classic.🤷
Indianhead md
I know where exactly where that’s at I’ve been there. It’s a pretty cool place.
Try and get the 66 yellow stang to run!!!
We definitely will
Yes
If i ever had the money to do something, i would go find a junkyard and either restore a muscle car into it's former glory or turn it into my dream project: mad max style rat rod for shits and giggles :D
The red LTD? @12:35 looks like a good candidate
Yeah probably will end up getting that going lance has a thing for it 😂
That 65-66 yellow Stang would be a great candidate for restoration!! It looks better than my 67 when I started it. Andi it came from NJ! It was a rust bucket for sure and had plenty cancer!!!
were is this place?
Indian head md
Save the little mustang
TRX wheels with metric tires were so expensive here in Canada
My 1983 Mustang G.T. 5.0 convertible had the TRX wheels. Wouldn't want to have to buy them today. Big bucks, I'm sure.
do they have anything fixed to look at ..
These guys primarily deal with parts cars
Old car owesome
68 yes😊

At 14:07 what’s with the air raid siren in background lol
