The true hack is hand sanitizer. Put it on the moment you get a bite and it achieves the same thing. Also works on those little irritation bumps you get on nose piercings.

Best thing to keep bites from itching-dissolve an aspirin (not coated) in a few drops of water. Put a dot on the bite, cover with a bandaid. It works the best I've ever tried. My mom taught me and her grandmother taught her.

My dad used to make a paste from baking soda and water on itchy bites and it helped a lot. Another is bee balm! It’s plant name is Monarda, though maybe not the most accessible or glamorous as the other remedies, chewing some of the flower and aerial parts on your bug bites as a poultice has been miraculous at healing them!

I know I’m not Tati, but the new ELF Soft Glam foundation is actually pretty good! It’s not super long wearing, but held up fairly well for my full work day and I am a pet stylist. Also, the TirTir cushion while a bit pricier, is actually quite a good value for the money. It takes so little and will last all day with little no transfer and I get so many compliments when I wear it. I think Tati wears shade 25 or 27N and I wear 29N. It’s $25 for the compact but they carry travel sizes for $15. Both in amazon 😊 I also have other suggestions if you like!

For mosquito bites, heat up a spoon under hot water (as hot as you can stand without burning your skin) and press it immediately against the bite. It breaks down the proteins that the mosquito left in the bite, which is what causes the inflammation and the itchiness. The sooner you do it after you get bitten, the better it works.

Does this actually work? I seriously cannot go outside without getting attacked. It’s so unfair. And I’m not walking around with bandaids or pimple patches all over me. I use to use tea tree oil but it stopped working. And I’ll swell up so bad for days. It’s awful.

Take oral Benadryl (topical doesn't help). I'm allergic to mosquitoes too, and prescription strength topical hydrocortisone stopped cutting it, but one benedryl took the bite down to less than a quarter of its previous size.

My current fav foundation (though not of 2024) duo is the Estée Lauder Futurist Skintint serum foundation with the Clinique Almost Powder Foundation. It’s amazing and both products are really good for my 44 year old skin! Love a thinner foundation, so I can layer a powder foundation on top. Wears great and the Clinique one is on my “ride or die” list, as I’ve used it alone or on top of foundation for years! The estee one is new for me in 2023. Also an honorable mention is Lancôme’s Serum Concealer with the other products.

Hey Tati! ❤I’m from Texas and very allergic to mosquitos! So first mosquitos love me, and second their bites turn into red whelps! Cortizone! Pharmacy dept at HEB! Worse than mosquitos, are chiggars! You can’t see them and their bite lasts for weeks. Severe itching and nothing helps. Their bites cause scars! So glad you’re here in Texas now!! 😊

Toothpaste!! Maybe im janky and feral but I grew up in southern louisiana and we all made the + with our nail on the bite in the center, and then slathered it with the really intensely minty crest or colgate toothpaste. It always worked every time. The cooling sensation feels incredible on the bites.

Florida girl, born n raised, have spent alot of time in the woods, camping, on the small islands, boating, mudding, fishing, 4-wheeling, we joked my kids were baptized in the compound, (basically huge mudding grounds) , lots of time at beach, etc. I have 4 kids, i keep a small bottle of bug spray in my purse & car at all times. Avons skin so soft works as well, and for the bites , dermaplast!! We stay with dermaplast, it works for everything!!! Burns, bites, bee stings, booboos. even! Its a clear spray on that deeply numbs the area! Soooo worth it, I use the blue one & the red antibiotic one.

I am a mosquito MAGNET and the best thing I did was get a bug bite thing. Literally, it’s called “the bug bite thing” I love it, it works, it’s amazing. For the spots that can’t get a good grip with the bug bite thing I use broadleaf plantain leaves. Most people consider them a weed but I SWEAR BY IT. Grab a leaf (make sure it’s from an area that isn’t sprayed with chemicals) rinse it off and you can either chew it up or crush it in a mortar and pestle but you want to make a little paste/poultice out of it and put that on the bite and you can either let it dry on its own like that or put a little cloth/bandage to help keep it in place. I promise it works. Leave it on as long as you can, I will let it dry on my skin and flake off on its own, at least 20 minutes. It really really helps. Google broadleaf plantain poultice for mosquito bites ❤

I watch all of your new videos and checking to see about just a skin tint. I also live in TX and am melting away. I have been searching through videos to help with shiny, sweaty skin. So thank you!

For mosquito 🦟 bites (I often get them too, they get in the house 😾) get Polysporin 1% hydrocortisone cream. Helps with redness and itchiness.

Try this Tati, for the misquote bites use a blister bandaid. They work like a hydrocolloid and pulls all the juice out. So gross but it works!! You can use a hydro colloidal zit sticka type you don’t have the other kind. Love your channel 🦋

I LOVE the CT skin tint stick. But I don’t really have problem skin other than extreme dry skin. But it’s soooo beautiful. Pop some powder where you don’t want as much shine & you’re good to go! & it wears sooooo beautifully!

The Gucci foundation has been my HG for over a year and I’m a foundation obsessed hoarder and besides the TirTir cushion, I haven’t even felt the need to try another bc the Gucci is soooooo perfect

What is the Gucci foundations finish? I'm also a foundation hoarder. I think at last count I had about 48. The Tir Tir looks amazing when I first put it on, but 8 hours later, prob really 6 or so it starts breaking down on me and I don't have oily skin. I actually haven't had that type of reaction to foundation since I was in highschool with oily teen skin.

@@calliew311it’s a matte finish but with a slight radiance to it, not flat like most matte formulas. Stays in place for my 14+ hr days without feeling like it’s caked up & hasn’t broken down. Absolutely amazing foundation that I never want to be without.

The "Purify" essential oil from the brand Revive EO helps so much to draw out the toxins from a bug bite. I apply a drop or two a couple of times a day and it helps so much with the itch and recovery!

For mosquito bites, the histamine is killed by heat so the quickest way to kill the itch is to run the hottest water you can tolerate over the bite for a few seconds. Once the histamine is killed, it doesn’t come back!

Alternately, you can put a spoon in boiling water for a few seconds and then place the back of the spoon against the bite, works super fast!!

I live in the DFW area too and I have a solution for the mosquitoes! It’s a product called AFTER BITE. It comes in a white tube. You just shake it and dot it on the bite and the itching stops immediately !! You can get it at Walmart or cvs . . It really works!!!

For Mosquito bites I use the Bite Away. It's a little device that gives heat to the area for 3 or 5 seconds and it stops the itching. It completely change the game for me.
    Love from Germany ❤
