  • This tutorial shows how to make a fun bracelet with a chain mail pattern. This is an intermediate level project because of some precise soldering. For materials, I used 16 (1.3 mm) and 18 (1.02 mm) gauge sterling round wire, and 3/16 inch (4.76 mm) fine silver bezel strip in 26 gauge (.41 mm). As always, I use hard silver sheet solder and a liquid flux, but also used some easy paste solder for this project.

Very nice bracelet!! I love the way the chainmail moves. Those pieces you showed at the beginning must have been quite the undertaking!! 😮

Hi Chad I have downloaded your book, but I'm having trouble opening the video link. Any suggestion?

That's really pretty Chad and would be a great piece to practice soldering (with an L 😊) on. I know it won't be as easy as how you make it look!
I might have missed you saying, but do you know what the total length of wire needed for the chain is?

Unfortunately I didn’t think to measure. 80-100ish cm?

@@chadssilversmithing I guess I can do some maths and calculate what I'll need. Thanks for replying ❤️
