I think you can try all kinds of bread in the world, but only if you made it your life goal, that's the level of dedication needed. you will end up visiting warzones, remote tribes, crime-filled cities, and even places that ban people from your country etc..... you will experience all kinds of hardships all over the world, but by the time your'e on your deathbed, sorrounded by grandkids you made with spouses from 28 countries, you can tell them (I made it).
We in jammu &kashmir india also prepare same way lawasa but not so big it is like our Indian punjabi rooti method is actually the same what they r showing
As a Pontic Greek, i am also very well aware of lavash bread as it is part of our cuisine too (we call it λαβάς). :-) Trully amazing bread, everyone must try it! Greetings to Armenia :-)
Watching things like this make me so grateful for our differences. Otherwise, we wouldn't have so many different incredible forms of talent and cuisine. So thankful

In Northen Mexico (a part of the country that has mediterranean weather) we have something similar called Flour tortillas, you can enjoy them as they are, with butter, or wrap foods, like cheese, spiced chicken, meat or even to make a giant burrito, with meat, cheese, chopped onion, chili sauce and guacamole...they are so big that you'll be full with just half of it... it's a meal for two

Lavash is a really good general use substitute for high carb breads. I can't speak for traditionally prepared lavash, but I use the Arnold's lavash bread for everything from wraps, grilled sandwiches, and even hotdogs, and the lower carb and higher protein content is game changing when you're on a diet and without sacrificing enjoyment by eating something disgusting.
I do put those lavash to make them more crispy in the oven, baste with some garlic oil, top with boursin cheese crab dip and top with chervil. Man delicious!!!
When i was a kid we mixed flour and water and fried it in a hot skillet. It was like a very thin pancake and we only made these because we were hungry. We had the flour and water on hand usually all the time.

Wonderful video!! Can you tell me the location of Tsirani Garden Restaurant and the Megerian Cultural Complex? I can't seem to find either on google maps..
The difference between Armenian/Turkish bread and that of Indian,Pakistan or any type of middle eastern bread is in the type of spice they use. I personally like, they Turkish meze bread.
Perfect meal, pinto beans mashed like frejoles, add green onions, a tiny bit of chicken bullion, cumin, chili powder, a pat of Garlic butter, mozzarella cheese, sour cream, wrap in big Lavash, I have it everyday for lunch
Litteraly takes 5 sec to google bro that it's origins are either armenia or Iran I haven't seen a single source that makes lavash this way or says that it's azeri, sure azerbaijan people do have lavash but armenians ate them bc
@Mosero Mosei same site so here is also my evidence ich.unesco.org/en/RL/lavash-the-preparation-meaning-and-appearance-of-traditional-bread-as-an-expression-of-culture-in-armenia-00985
@Mosero Mosei what I think is most likely they share many cultures and traditions because they are neighbour countries, why I believe that maybe it's originated from armenia it's because the country is old itself so the method might be different we can't confirm because we didn't live in the past
@Mosero Mosei maybe after all is armenians and countries near us are mostly a branch of the indo-europeans I do believe that turks might be ancient too but they as a civilization that formed into turkey they aren't old (meaning they probably were tribes that lived around those parts but didn't have a certain country calling turkey because they most likely refered themselves as turks, same as armenians) Because armenians had a formed kingdom for awhile so cultures must've formed relating to the way they made flatbread lavash Or what I think is the azeris mustve been just neighbour country (which the armenians refered them as akhvanq for quite some time) so they shared cultures, both countries share many things Anyway thanks for the discussion
