New video about one of the most talked about players in the history of football. In this episode we take on Lionel Messi who played for Barcelona and PSG for all of his career.
Lionel Messi - Making A GOAT - Documentary
Please leave a like, it means the world after months of work in this series.
My third full length documentary, this time in a docu-series format, goes over the career and life of one of the greatest players this world has ever seen Lionel Messi, from his birth in Rosario, trough his progression from Newell's Old Boys wonderkid, to being signed by Barcelona all in this first episode and then developing into a club legend and eventually leaving a mark that will likely never be wiped off while developing the most fierce rivalry in football on pair with Cristiano Ronaldo and finally his departure at 34, where most would retire he would take on the task of joining PSG. With months of dedication to the project, completed solely by myself, the owner of this channel.
I hope it paid off and that this will serve as a memorial for fans to rejoice over the memories brought to us by the greatest of all time.
Messi's grandmother : "One day you'll be the greatest football player in the world "
Little did she know that her grandson would become the greatest ever to grace the sport.
Its actually sad that she couldn't witness her grandson achieve it all.
She saw it all before anyone else did…
That's why he dedicates all his goals to her :')

We literally have the same story.
United fan because of the amazing 2007 United squad, loved ronaldo for years and tried dismissing messj was that great. Ronaldo later forced me to watch la liga after he left, and I couldn't deny any more: this man called messi was truly special.
As a huge Messi fan, I had always show nothing but mad respect to CR7 🤝🏼
People who haven't seen him have no idea what player he was. He was an alien in his best moments, from another planet and that's how he was almost his entire career, game after game. In every aspect of the game he was the best and he did it in an unstoppable and unbelievable way. His goalscoring side, assistant, dribbler, creator, passer... in all of them he has been the best in history or among the best in history without a doubt and he did that at the same time during a game.
Right, our generation was lucky to watch every games and have the greatest feelings in our lives. Today's kid can only watch highlights and documentaries.

Best in history? I disagree, same as Ronaldo! TBF Ronaldo has performed in many leagues, however, he is not the best player in history, why?
They maybe the best players of a generation, they have been afforded the very best in nutrition and conditions compared to previous generations of great players!
It is relative, I cannot imagine messi/ronaldo actually performing at all in the 1920's/1930's, then you have the 50s/60s/70s/80s! They would not have survived.
It is an insult to the great global players of all decades to insinuate they are the best in history, BS!
@@paulnsno7198 Messi would survive in every era
For me I think his greatness is from his view of the game. He sees it differently than all of us
prolly cuz he has Asperger’s , a form of autism
Whenever the defenders tackle him his eyes is always on the ball and how he would put the perfect finish. He will stumble and fall down still the defenders won't able to slow him down. I don't think someone so unbothered by anything else. He is a legend. He is the 🐐

You couldn't be more wrong.
There will always be a better player, someday.
And if you truly love football, you pray to live to the day, when a player shows up that actually will play better football and surpass Messi.
It's inevitable, because this is the human nature. Or do you think Usain Bolts 100m WR will remain unbroken? Records are meant to be broken, that's what they're there for. Do you really think, that in the late 80ies, people could imagine that there would ever be a better player than Diego? No, they couldn't, yet Messi happened. The same will happen to Messi. There's always a bigger fish in the sea...
@@Pintkonan The only reason I think its going to be extremely hard to beat Messi is the longevity and I personally think its because of Cr7, they battled each other nonstop, so we basically need another duo to come close to their records

@Yazan _5.0 world cup was fixed. In the world cup qualifying for South American teams, Brazil pumped Argentina home and away. Argentina are never the best team in the world right now. Messi is a nobody get that
I have the same feeling , my love for football will take a hit when this guy will retire.
@@wolverine4326 Yeah nobody can touch him.
Really awesome video, for me the best player ever, no doubt.
One suggestion for a video, please talk about Arsenio Erico, the best Paraguayan player of all time, and the player with more goals at the Argentinian league.
This is the top 4 seasons with more goals (Argentinian league)
1936/37 Arsenio Erico- 40
1933/34 Barnabé Ferreyra- 43
1937/38 Arsenio Erico- 43
1938/39 Arsenio Erico- 47
I realised it while playing football manager, and did a research on the player, I think he deserves more attention.
Which I don’t think he did.
Abraço 😉
When Messi retires, people will realise how foolish it was to ever doubt on his GOAT status..
Edit: Messi just won the World Cup, what now haters? What now? 🤷🏻♂️😂
Cr7 & Messi league of their own no order for me I was alive to see the greatest players of all time I was there! I'll tell my grandkids I seen the best of the best
There was never a debate but the media power of real Madrid created the debate
Messi & Ronaldo retiring will arguably the day I'm destined to cry. Honestly, I'd be incapable of imagining it happening ever
@@Unknown124k true…Messi was always beyond everyone else…past, present and also future I believe..
One of the best with whole team working On his success in a league with 2 teams. Same with Cr7. Its a team based game but People want idols so they were created to make money on them. Plenty of players deserve Balon Dor more than them during that era but the money were too high to let them lost.
I have been watching messi from the very beginning at barca and he has given me one of the best times in my life when life was dark. Watching him from the beginning has been an absolute journey to watch and that took me to places I could find peace. His magic is real.
Wow, surely the world will gonna miss LIONEL MESSI after his retirement.
Thanks for doing the Making the goat documentary, it was sensational. You are awesome.
Thank you for doing this! It's amazing to watch
I believe it takes up so much time! So thank you
one of the greatest videos on the platform. thank you for your hard work, sir.
Epic video. Thank you for covering my favorite player with love and respect!
This was so good! You have to a Reupload and add another 20 minutes until he wins the World Cup. The Story of Messi!
And today History was made again by the G.O.A.T.!!! World Champions!!!
Lionel Messi is my idol apart from Zinedine Zidane and Marco Van Basten, he is someone who is responsible with a strong mentality, here we learn to make a picture of our life as Lionel Messi, which can be said to be failure after failure with the Argentine national team made him despair and ended up retiring with his own national team, being ridiculed and insulted or ridiculed by haters, after that what happened? After failing in 1 World Cup final in 2014 and 2 failures in winning the Copa America in 2015 and 2016, he almost retired at that time and then came back again, what happened after that? with his persistence, patience, positive thinking he managed to win the 2021 Copa America and win the 2022 Finalism, and what he is waiting for is the 2022 World Cup champion who can silence netizens and haters with Messi's own success, he managed to prove his own greatness, that doesn't mean he is FIFA's golden boy, This is a beautiful and special gift. Before Messi decided to retire, he had already won everything in football and was Barcelona's all-time top scorer. Respect to Lionel Messi, the great legend of Barcelona and the Argentine national team.👑🥳🎉
I love his history, it is very inspiring to less disadvantaged in the society. Indeed he is the G.O.A.T
Cute 🤣
Cristiano Ronaldo:
Most goals in general
Most UCL goals
Most UCL goals in a single season record
Most international goals
Most hat-tricks
Most header goals
Most weak foot goals
Achieved top scorer in the Premier League (best and hardest league)
Achieved top scorer in La Liga multiple times
Achieved top scorer in Serie A multiple times (We weren't in the MLS at 35 kiddo)
Won a ballon d'or in the Premier League (Still the last one to do so)
Real Madrid all-time top scorer (biggest and most historic club in the world)
Pessi: Stat-padded against farmers while being in a powerful team in La Liga (pretty much 90% of his career), moves to PSG and has a quite average first season, second season he gets 6 goals for the entirety of the season (while being in a super team again against farmers), then runs away to the MLS 💀💀🍔🏳🌈🏳🌈
Keep bringing up the World Cup (the team trophy) when we're comparing individuals. I mean I get it, when you're desperate like every pessi fan, it's all you have 💀 Keep crying in every comments section though 🥱

Awesome video. Moved to tears. ;)
It blows my mind to think that Messi was the same age as me when he dropped the greatest champions league final performance and also be called the greatest player he has ever seen by souness
This is the BEST video of Messi that I ever watched; well done
Wonderful, wonderful ,wonderful - messi🐐
You make some of the best ever sports documentary commentaries that are out there. Congrats and thanks.
Thanks for this great story... You've put the story of a legend in our heart.
It's mental that messi wasn't alive when Maradona won the world Cup for Argentina and Maradona wasn't alive when messi won the world Cup for Argentina and then there's people that got to witness both and people who never witnessed one of them lift it 😮
finally a messi documentary
Thank you so much for sharing with the world who is Messi. The best past and present generation. Thanks for this well done documentary. ❤❤❤❤
⚽️⭐️💕miss Messi like crazy…..VAMOS ALBICELESTE ❤

one of the best docu of Messi narrated with emotion and passion that became contagious
The story of L Messi was in all timely and it was indeed a very historical experience in football history. Thru ups and downs of his career, he was a great athlete and his giving all his life, hope and passion. As time's passes by.. Respect and honor and love much well wishes to him. Part of football league and every single one of this is a very humbly and memorable moment for L Messi and as well for millions of people who admired love, respect and support him all the time. Wishing more winning games onwards Messi. 💯🥇❤️💖🤗

The greatest there is, God of the game❤❤❤❤❤❤
I remember saying to my brother. Have you seen that kid playing for Barcelona Messi? He said no. I said look out for that kid he's gonna be good.
bro this documentary is absolutely amazing
pls update it since messi has won the world cup now
Ahh I wish there were more videos of his play! Love the documentation tho! Fantastic work
What a beautiful video man, great great job!❤
thanks man
I watched Messi in real time, not missing a single game, even prescribed to BIeN TV the only station that played Barca games, that made it possible to watch every single game, without having to chase trough many sports chase in America, the country that calls Football, Soccer! I think they started the channel because of Messi and Ronaldo! I stopped watching after Maradona retired and then I saw the little genius and I became obsessed with Barca and Messi! I loved Pep Barca and I don't think that there was ever a team that played and make opponents look like sticks! Xavi,Inesta and Messi were the greatest attacking midfield in the history and Messi the GOAT!
