Just to clarify, the game was "early access" on steam, it's now in the early stage of official full release. As for the NFT/crypto, I've heard about this as well but from what I've been able to find it's something that Faraway does as a whole, not just this game. I'm actually yet to see any indication of it in game, but it does definitely exist officially. Expedition is totally safe tho and really fun, definitely recommend giving it a try if you're into CO-OP PvE type gameplay
I played this game a lot when it was on steam. I actually did enjoy it and expedition in particular was really fun. The multiplayer was basically xdefiant but with it's own flavor. Back then it didn't have any of the nft stuff going on though. I do play on mouse and keyboard but for most of my life I've been strictly controller. Mouse and keyboard isn't that hard to learn. I played Xdefiant with it and had a great time despite what people complained about. You should definetly give Delta Force a chance. I've been addicted since launch and both the battlefield mode and tarkov mode are really fun. It honestly was much better than I expected. I am a huge battlefield fan though.
Thanks for the breakdown! I have a quick question: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?
I've played this game since 2022. I bought the game and played it again and honestly the NFT implementation really has not changed the game at all which that's also what they said. Microtransaction is optional, not mandatory. You can still play the game how you used to play. The only changes they made is the Campaign mode is no longer a multiplayer mode but they downed the difficulty a few notches so it's doable for everyone.
Regardless of personal bias, but making a game Epic exclusive and putting NFTs in it is a death-sentence for the future of the game. Just being Epic exclusive on PC is already a tough burden, but implementing NFTs makes it a toxic asset. Grit did the same. Game was pretty fun in the playtests on Steam, but it didn't attract enough players, so they made the Epic NFT deal to get some short term cash, but sacrifice the longterm future. It's a shame, since Shatterline actually looked fun and I was looking forward to the console launch and quality of life improvements. Now I am pretty sure the game will slowly fiddle out till all the players are gone.
If you want a middle ground, look up the fragchuck. Like a one handed controller to replace the keyboard aspect but still letting you use a mouse. I never bothered learning keyboard because I like having a stick/triggers.
