I started like that 3 years ago :D youtube recommended me some of her videos and I started to watch her. A few months later I was like oh my god I 'm going to be a nail tech I love it. So I got my license and I am a working nail tech for two years :) her videos are still my fav, all day everyday
This is exactly how I taught myself to do my lines cuz it just seemed the easiest in my mind. I feel so validated and somewhat normal now. Thank you Suzie. I've loved every video of yours that I've seen. You're amazing, calm, educational, and so very soothing.
I’ve been watching and learning from your channel for a while now. My husband got sick so I started doing my own nails. Nails on a budget . But you give great videos to learn from 🥰
Suzie you just put a extremely hyper 11 year old boy to sleep. I’m am so grateful for you and your soothing voice. I cannot explain how much you mean to us tonight.
Haha💜 I'm the opposite....her videos keep me up..I literally watch her videos back to back to back to back to back to back to back to back to back to back, ETC😂🤷🏻🙌🏻🤩
Yes I'm not very good free hand so lately I've taken my special tape I use to use to do painted on french tips and just cut the tape to the shape I want my smile line to be...I found the center sticker from my nail form stickers give me a pretty nice curved smile line... Thanks for sharing Suzie 💅💞
@@freedomheiress yes definitely!! I try to have everything on hand when I can when I don't have it, I improvise lol... I'm constantly watching nail art videos and when I see something I like I want to immediately try to do it haha so I'll go around the house to find anything I can use!
Awesome! I was hoping for a video like that, since I am not a nail technician, but love to do my own nails and these tutorials helps me how to create certain looks. Thanks
Love how informative you videos are. There are 2 video ideas I would love to see. Your hybrid gel videos are very interesting you've tried out so many products. Could you compare and recommend a hybrid gel that's best for beginners and also which hybrid gel is the clearest ????
OMG !! I have been looking and looking for a tutorial on "how to" have asked many only to be ignored, so I gave up. Thank you sooooooo much for taking the time to do this tutorial 🤗🥰😁❤️💯💞
Been a fan, but i was hooked after i saw a video for a new product and Susie opened each item an tossed the packages over her shoulder like she couldn't wait to start playing with it. Lol OMG I luved it... 😲🤣🤣
🥰🥺 Wow Suzie, this video, WOW!!! 💖🥰 I absolutely am obsessed with these video's. 💯 Over these few years I've been watching you, you have taught me so much. Thank you. 🥰 #AwesomeVideo 💖
Hey Suzie. I recently got into gel. I love it so much more than working with acrylic. However, pinching acrylic is much easier as I can just do it with my fingers. Gel is a little trickier. Could you show us the best way to pinch a gel manicure to get that perfect c curve?
Hi, I am a busy teacher and a grad student. Even though I have just subscribed, I have been watching you for over a year. Thank you for teaching me how to apply polygel! I have some questions: I am a brown skinned woman and the normal colors in polygel for a french manicure normally come in pink and white. For my skin tone pink does not look natural. Please explore colors that match brown skinned beauties. Also, why can't I find a vlog that shows how to perform a refill on polygel nails. Can you do one? I have purchased your recommended nail drill, polygel, and files. You are teaching me how to care for my nails. THANK YOU!!!!. Please don't leave our brown skinned beauties hanging. I am sure you are slammed with requests, but when you and your camera guy can manage the time in your busy teaching, (Big Ups to the "Camera Guy), I'll be anxiously watching and waiting. Keep up the beauty secrets!
Hi Suzie...for some reason I always call the chevron line a tuxedo nail. So now my clients call it that as well. It looks like half a bow tie to me so when I started doing nails that was the nickname I came up for it and it stuck. I love a strong deep line as well, so so pretty!
Nail Career Education I started putting little buttons on some ring fingers as an accent and for 16 years people still ask for those “tuxedo nails”. I love our job! Have a wonderful weekend!
Thank you so much for your awesome teaching!! Also I wanted to know where you get your rings? In one video that I can't find, you were wearing a gorgeous band that I am obsessed with!
I find that the best way to do smile lines is with a striping brush and just drawing the line. If it doesn.t come out perfect, i can always start over (i just wipe the line away). I also think that deeper smile lines can give the nail a much more elegant look, it can create the illusion of a slender, longer nail. In my opinion, french nails look the best on square nails.
I love watching your videos I have learned a lot. I know you don’t do a lot of review’s but would you be able to do one on nail dust collectors. I just do my nails as a hobby so I’m looking for a personal use dust collector.
Hey Suzie! I really need some help!! 😢 ive been doing nails for about a year and ive acquired quite a bit but the one thing i just havent got right is the brush. I dont have much to spend at all. But i know it will make all tbe difference. So what do you recomend? Any brands?thanks so much !! You're amazing!! Love the shows
I would really love to know how to fix or prevent sore red nail beds after wearing acrylics? I’m a nail tech myself and some common things I know for instants don’t over file and soak of the nails etc. But I follow all this on my own hands and it never seems to work my nails always seem really weak and red after my acrylics? Don’t know what to do or what I’m doing wrong
Hey Suzie! Could you make some videos about things you can also use for making fake nails apart from acrylics? And also do you know where the sell cheap acrylic powders and brushes? I love you so much your videos are so entertaining❤️
Hi suzie wow thanks for sharing i really wanted to find and easier way to do smiles. Cannot wait to try your way. I love kiara sky polish their awesome. Whats your imput on their polish?
@@NailCareerEducation i find them nice to work with also . Their gels are also awesome to work with and the colors are beautiful. The dips are the same.🙂❤

I never thought of the demarcation/separation on my natural nail as a smile line before. Mostly because mine are almost completely straight. Would you leave it straight or try to put a curve in?
Can someone answer my quick question please? Lol if you buy one dipping powder system, can you use other dip powders from different brands or would it be better to use the same brand system overall??? For instance joya Mia with joya Mia, opi with opi, kiara sky with kiara sky, etc. versus joya Mia powder with kiara sky dip set or opi dip powders with joya Mia dip set.

Hey Suzie! So, I finally dared to try the Born Pretty flower fairy gel. And, well this is my very first time doing gel nails (no extension). But, the problem I am facing is that the gel runs everywhere :( Any tip??

Thanks for the real fun video Happy 2020 I know you don't respond back but I do like to see how you do the almond and I like the squoval shape nails on you since your hands is kind of large it looks nice I have very nice little hands with very little thin fingers so squoval is my natural nail bed shape but I would love to try the almond shape a few times I don't like the Stiletto but I would be interested in trying the almond shape as it's a little more closer to a old-fashioned point nail can you please tell us some of the best places to order a LED light that is reasonable and some of the best acrylic gels to work with as some of the best brushes to apply the acrylic once again happy 2020 look forward to seeing some new designs be blessed💎💎🖤💜💛💚💙🖤💅🏼💅🏻💇🏼💆💆🏻.
Hey suzie, quick question. I used a dip kit on my natural nails, prepped them properly etc. But after i put the activator on it wasn’t working to crystalize my nails? I waited like 10 minutes, still wasn’t cured, so i added more activator waited another 10 minutes (repeated this process for an hour trying to get them to cure) and still they were not curing. I used the Kiss dip system. Just wondering if you have ever had that happen and how to avoid that?
I've used about 5-9 kits...never had they happen. It didn't make that beautiful click sound? I had one that base n top were the same bottle... less of that awesome click when tapped but still did harden. Maybe they had a manufacturing error? Email them to ask can't hurt anything and they may need to know...how recalls get started.😉
No that they did not, the beautiful click sound never happened for these nails unfortunately. And Alrighty will do. Thank you so much for the feedback.
I just realized how incredibly lazy I am when I do my own french tip nails. 😂 No base coat, any color polish, follow my natural smile line and a clear coat on top. Nail techs have rolled in their graves!
Cynthia Earp Same 😂 Without a base colour you’re able to take a q-tip with nail polish remover on and perfect the line, in case it gets a little crooked or wobbly.
@Choodle This is one area where Jel nail polish comes in. You can put a blear base, a solid color, cure that, then a tip color, wipe any mistake away with a dry brush or a brush dipped in rubbing alcohol, and cure that once you have the tip how you want it, and then a clear top coat (I am falling in love with matte top coats) and voila! Perrrfect french nails any way you want them. ♡♡♡♡♡

I know this is off topic but can I use my poly gel brush with builders gel?
Yep
Yeah but polygel will be so sticky... I use separate ones.
You could but Hybrid brushes are more firm/stiff, for a smooth application a brush designed for gel would be better
Music was especially on point this episode
Buitiful Nail + White pontes Nail + Smile plus
have you ever done a plaid nail?
Lately I've been thinking so much of asymmetric french designs, where the apex of the curve isn't on the center line.
I like that pinky one...🤩😘

i have a question? How to remove gel nail polish from gel acrylic nails? I don't want the nails to come off but i do want the nail polish to come off
You have to break the seal by filing the nails. You can file off the whole product of apply acetone on your gel polish. Your acrylic nails won't fall off if you file and use acetone unless you leave them for a long time. You can use a clothespin to secure an acetone-filled tissue to your nail and leave it for about 5 minutes, put pressure to the nail to take off the product and your gel polish should come off easily without disrupting your nails. Personally, I prefer to file, but the choice is yours.
