This is by far my favorite game ever made. Shadow of Mordor, Halo, WoW and the Prototype games certainly are all in the top 10 for me, but nothing compares to Shadow of War for me. I wish the tech wasn’t so painfully difficult to implement the Nemesis System, because it would be awesome to see the Nemesis system in, say, Legend of Zelda, or Batman, or even an MMO.
Imagine a game like WoW, but with Ai systems for every monster and NPC you come across, that can create its own unique dialogue and quest objectives/text. Totally unique interactions with the same NPCs for different players inside of an MMO.
It would take so much effort to make it work though that it’s probably going to be effectively impossible until fully automated AI software designer programs are made. We’re close, but not there yet.
I can get lost in Mordor for hours just fighting captains, seeing what new variations I can come across. It’s an amazing game, and because of the Nemesis System, it actually feels alive more than other games.
I’d honestly say this game feels more alive than most all online games I’ve ever played, because the players don’t make it feel “alive” when all the NPCs are still static and give the same repetitive dialogue no matter how many times you play.
I’ve replayed Shadow of War probably 8 times through to the Shadow War Epilogue ((not playing that part)), and though the same names might pop up, very rarely do I ever come across two identical captains or warchiefs that are identical.
They always have a difference in armor, or a different voice and dialogue, different abilities and fears, etc. Even without a single instance of genuine interaction with players, it still feels totally alive.
Though it would be cool as hell to have an online Siege option where you actively defend against another real player, and eventually the two of you legitimately have to fight each other with your wraith powers.

Two there is a way to get zog, baz, gaz and Daz. Warning the triplets will break your game.

@FAsterisks well first if you get baz and gaz you can't get Daz to appear since they need to be dead and second for some reason trying to read one location from the map takes you to the machine tribe lore instead.
Zog breaks nothing he's that good and this even works on the machine tribe the one titles from that one shadow war siege.

Video series like these make me extremely sad that WB patented the nemesis system until 2035, and are just going to sit on it and likely never use it again. This mechanic is a GOLDMINE of emergent gameplay, and needs to be made available to ALL developers of games.

If an orc has decoy you can let one of the decoys kill you and you get a copy or you can get the same orc from vendetta missions with your friends
