@@MyWorldofFragrance yes, you have the Parfum correct? I ordered the EDP because that is what was available to me where I live. Do you remember what the primary differences were?
Delta of Venus is one of my current faves and it lasts forever on me. I think it's absolutely beautiful! Great video, Sam, but sorry some of these didn't work out.
Hey Sam, you gave me the best advice on getting Alexandria ii for a signature scent a few months back 🎉 I wanted to know do you have 2 or 3 more options that are more of a fresh type of scent that is niche that I can wear in the really hot weather that can set me apart from everyone else.? I’m in my 30s so I don’t want to smell like a teen or like an old man neither 😅 Thanks for everything miss your videos, hope you put up more content soon ✌🏾&❤️
Recent blind buys for me were Parfum d’Empire Fougere Bengale and Corsica Furiosa, both deep discounts…neither are immediate loves, but Fougere Bengale has really grown on me after wearing it daily for a week. Wasn’t sure it was a ‘me’ scent, but it definitely became one. Now I think I love it!
Fougere Bengal was a surprise favourite. I bought it nearly blind. I had loved everything else from Parfums d’Empire but it’s my favourite from the brand and my favourite Fougere. It’s so weird and wonderful.
@@catherinelynnfraser2001 agreed, Parfum d’Empire is soooo weirdly good! Tabac Tabou is another favorite, but certainly not a love at first sniff. Smells like a horse stall, but I just love it. Just blind ordered Azemours des Orangeres based on the quality of the others I have.(They’re all on sale at Jomashop right now!)
Wow! I had no idea Panouge was still releasing fragrances. I have an old bottle of Panouge ''business man'' from the 80s that's full on nitro musk fougere. I also blind bought Messe de Minuit and I 100% agree there's something in it that's too specific to be wearable, and I have no problem wearing Oriza Reve d'Ossian and Relique d'amour.
Blind buys are very naughty, but yes fun 😅. Rubicon Guava was my goto drink with my Indian takeaway at the end of every wild night at Uni 🤣 I do love the stuff. The first one sounded so promising. My recent purchases are : Tilia by Marc Antoine Barrois and Un jardin à Cythère by Hermes, fantastic fragrances; my recent worst purchases are Rose Chérie Guerlain and Tabac rose by BDK As surprising as it may seem, I smelled these perfumes in stores and when I got home it was a total disappointment. so When I do a blind purchase as for herbs Fresca that I hate, I do not regret it saying that it is a lottery game.
Great to see you & what a fun topic from you. 😂 ok, see, you aren’t logical, all the time either! I blind buy a lot. I might have to try happy dust! Sounds a bit related to another 13 too?
Haha totally not! Hmm Another 13 is a different kind of cozy sweater, this one seems almost vanillic? But it smells different to everyone, someone below thought Angel Dust smelled like nothing :) Worth a try imo if you like Another 13.

Sam, wow! Messe de Minuit! Etro has done some masterpieces that are a bit hard to find these days. My favourite are Palais Jamais and Shaal Nur, I stocked up several old bottles of them before they changed the packaging. Back in the days when we only had basenotes forum, when Montale was new to the market and people went crazy over it… that’s when I learned about Etro. ❤ I remember people describing it as gothic churchy, another cologne that people tried to get a bottle of was Czech & Speake No. 88 cologne, after all these years I still have not had a chance to sample it 😂
Ooo, I tried Pacifica French Lilac and was so hopeful. I agree that it’s synthetic and not very realistic. I also found it incredibly cloying - a scrubber for me! En Passant will be my next sample!!
I stopped blind buying after purchasing Oh la la by T.C., it smelled like old wall to wall carpeting in a very sad and empty shopping mall (on my skin of course). Tilia is my next perfume, but I will try it at least five times before buying.

Oh my GOD. Nothing nothing NOTHING is worse than expecting a green, bitter perfume and then receiving something sweet. 🤢🔪 what a shame too because we need more absinthe/wormwood perfumes. There are 2 other green perfumes I love but struggle a bit with because they have slight gourmand qualities that peep in and out: Baiser Vole edp by Cartier and Francine by Francesca Del’Oro.
