so what type of washers or spacers did you use and how many ? i seen the other video as well , seems like he used nylon spacers but his seems to be on an incline and use looks flush ?
Robert G any washers will work. I found nylon bolt spacers and cut them to about 1/8”. It just depends where you mount bolts as to how much angle you need to correct. I mounted as high as possible as I’m tall and didn’t want shelf too low. I also left shelf a few degrees higher than level so as things wear it will lay perfectly flat. If you start level it will wear and then lean downwards and you will have stuff rolling off of it. Mine is perfectly level now
Tito Camacho I just cut it to exact length of barrel. Then used a torch to burn it, scraped off with wire brush then burned again to get deeper color. Then sanded lightly until it was smooth and then used water seal and put several coats on it
Nice work Daniel !!
Nomadman thank you
Looks awesome. Where did you get the hinges?
Sorry just saw this message but I see it was answered
