I don’t think most people understand the level of investment they’re looking at when you see a vehicle pulling a trailer loaded with mater and the recovered vehicle. My hats off to you for the business that you’ve built and the home brew engineering involved with trail mater.
Just a little comment to help your channel grow :) We are gonna head out some day to meet an wheel with y'all :) Thank you for the videos - We love your work and attitude :) Dee Dee :)
Camera guy asks Rory " Shouldn't the motor be running when you are using the winch?" .... Rory "Yeah" and continues winching. Love It! When I grow up, I wanna be just like Rory!
I love the title to this video. You are a character bud!!! :-) Rory.... you take care of that buggy! I know you're partial to Mater!!! Lot's of us are too. LOL :-) "Chaos in Mater's territory!" Mater to the rescue! Oh yeah! Mater says Yehawwww. Rearing to go! :-)
Rory, that is a really nice recovery rig even if you have to recover yourself sometimes, sure is handy and fast that you can just drive right up on the trailer with whatever your towing behind you.
With your skills you could of done it in 2WD. You da Man! Great to have others out there to help you! They know If their in need they can count on you! Great Video!
I wonder how many treasures are hidden away up in those big rocks/rock cliffs/holes/caves from way back in the day? Maby a big stash of gold from a old robbery in the wild wild west days lol.
Hey Rory !! WOW !! Bad enough that YOUR ride broke down ,,now you have ""MATER"" to fix too !!! Always something that has to "SPOIL"" the days FUN !! Have a good week & Thanks for the 3 rides !!HAHA
So glad that Social Distancing is in my rear-view mirror. Going back to watch your older posting to Like, Subscribe and to comment. Al-Gore-Rhythm should be pleased with this.
Rory great show and a question what works better orys or shock with springs. I see trailmater handle the rough as good as an ory set up. Thank you my friend
Just a thought, check out log truck stingers. If you could adapt a stinger to your tow truck your trailer would follow follow in its tracks. Might help in those tight turns. Love your videos. Mike
Sucks the buggy broke on a fun day, but thr irony of the shirt you were wearing showing Mater towing a jeep on a off road recovery to then be towing your own jeep on a off road recovery, funny but not funny at the same time, love the videos every week
It's cold outside here in the North-west right now, I been studying the Bible, King James, I been at it for hours: time -out: So I switch over to see what you had in a video, this one is great. Hey trail mater I no that this is an older video and hopefully you get this question that I’m about to ask you and you do a video on it!! What size tires do you run on your dually wrecker and do you run wheel spacers to be able to run larger tires?? I have several 4 1Ton 4x4 duallys one is a service truck that I use for scraping metals out with one is a dump truck and one is a tow truck that everything works on all them!! I also have a 1969 Chevy 1Ton 4x4 with the Dana 60 front 14 bolt rear doubler set up with the sm465 manual tranny with the upgraded 32 spline out put shaft in it and I just built a 421 sbc for it!! Absolutely love this Truck and have had it for close to 25 years I did just get a 1981 gmc 1Ton4x4 with yes the Dana60 front and a Detroit locked 14 bolt rear with disc brakes also!! All the trucks I run have the sm465 trannys in them!! I would definitely like to put a little bit bigger tires on the duallys but every one says that I can’t do that I have to run the 235/65/16 tires I tell them that they shouldn’t be in business if they can’t tell me what I need to run a taller tire on a dually!!! Lol!! I have seen several different ways people have done it I was just wanting your best input on the best way to do it??? Thanks in advance buddy!! I absolutely love watching your videos along with fabrats channel and Matt’s off road recovery channel!! But I do have to say that Paul and I have 95% of things in common and I definitely love all his work!!
OK you said you were going out to have some fun with some friends wheeling. Isn't that a big part of your job.. So if wheeling is your hobby. Does that mean you work very little? Since wheeling is your hobby and your "job" is largely wheeling to and from the customer. LOL😂

I like that" no unless ur an internet warrior" lol👍🇺🇸
Tires on the rescue jeep reminded me of the old fun country tires of the 70/80s

Nice when you have not only a fun toy to play with, but a bigger one that's the best recovery item you could want. LOL!

That snorkel comment is a bit of foreshadowing a future Onion Creek rescue in 2023…
I haven't had to rescue myself yet, but I do hope that never happens. Good job though!

Fun video, thanks guys 👍
Great adventure. What trail is this?
Pritchett Canyon.
Thanks + thanks to the person who filmed you.
I see the problem, the headlights are square.
👍❤️
What tires are those on the jeep that took you back to the shop?
Maxxis short course stickys.
@@trailmater those are bad ass but look like they would only be good for the rocks
@@kennethburnett6704 they are a race tire that comes mostly blank that racers groove to the way they like.
Oh ok. Thats really cool though. Knowing me I'd come up with a stupid looking worthless design. Lol
a little bite a fun
do you ever do night recovery's ?
All the time.
Ok have you ever had someone run into or almost run into your recovery rope in the dark?
I got reflective ropes for night recovery's . In 3 different sizes.
Not ever been an issue yet, it's usually just me and the other rig at night. And with my warning lights people watch out.
@@unclesandcrab
Who makes reflective ropes???
😎🇺🇸
