On Nevada side, on skiers right into the base of the Canyon, can ski past that ribbon leading back to the lift, leave resort and ski 5k vertical down to desert floor in a good snow year.. be careful not to get lost, use GPS, and would need a ride back to resort. 😆. Can also ski down to Casinos on California side that they don't tell you.
Yeah we have heard heaps about these resort to valley runs, sadly they are back country and pretty easy to get lost. We don’t want to encourage people to go out of bounds without the right training or a guide.

It is, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful places to ski or snowboard in the world. It can get a bit crowded on the California side..

There is a bit of snow, they have an amazing snow making system so there will always be something open.
$250 a day for a lift ticket? I have a lift ticket from 2003, walk up window weekend rate $54. 😢
The price of corporate skiing in America. Cheaper to get an epic pass which is what they want you to do
You forgot to mention that the best terrain, snow, and views at Heavenly are accessed through gates that lead out of bounds.
It’s true however we didn’t want to encourage people to exit through gates without the right gear or knowledge.
It was Heavenly until mega-passes and RUclips qunts giving up all the hidden stashes to the kooky masses about ten years ago
This is the lamest resort per % of Square footage... It's the Wal-Mart of ski areas
