- Spinning kicks are obviously not without their risk in MMA. Get them wrong and you can end up on the wrong side of a KO or being taken to the ground. However, get them right and you can cause significant damage to your opponent.

One of the best martial arts channels period.
Two great athletes and they make it look so easy. I am in awe.
One of my old kickboxing instructors was a KICK world champion and he had a similar setup for his hook kick. Even when you knew it was coming, you couldn't get out of the way.
I sparred with Lucas many years ago at Bas Rutten's Elite MMA Gym. He was super solid, I am glad to see he is still training with the best!

The kicking techique can be improved, just twist the other heel too and chamber the leg an kick it straight. The spinning kick is more complicated to put in words. Tae kwon do has very detailed instructions in those kicks
I wish I had a friend to exchange such spinning kicks daily! 😃
