Tracy, your horticultural and herbal skills seems to be on par. There’s nothing like, healthy living at home. I learn something, I didn’t know strawberries 🍓 first starts off as a flower 🙏🏾
I’m a Southern California girl but family has southern roots. I learned to garden from my granddad some 46+ years ago. I’ve had a garden every since! Currently growing herbs, scotch bonnet peppers, chocolate bell, yellow bell, yellow squash, zucchini, spring onions, many varieties of tomatoes (love them green for frying), pomegranates, Louisiana okra bush, LSU fig, aloe, jalapeños, blackberries, dragon fruit, greens, and container citrus trees (Moro, sanguinelli, satsuma, red rio, Thai, Meyer, cara cara, clementine, golden nugget, murcott and pomelo), I think that’s it…. 🤔 Plus I have over 60 houseplants and a Jackson Perkins rose garden. I’m also a seed collector too! I’m just a wanna be country girl in Rancho Cucamonga! 😂. I would love to send you some dragonfruit cuttings or some scotch bonnet seeds to see what they’ll do.
Hi Tracey, I’m growing mustard and turnip greens, tomatoes, eggplant, broccoli, squash, zucchini, herbs, strawberries, cantaloupe and watermelon. I also am growing bell peppers and jalapeño peppers and green beans.
Well done with your epic green thumb Tracey you make it look so ez the beauty of it all as you illustrate it with your movements being so fluid thank you Eddie
Looks good. I suggest you put the mint in a pot. Mint will take over your garden and will be hard to get rid of it once it spread and take root. I’m growing strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, bell peppers, basil, and lemon trees.
Love, that, you have crossed over to the garden world. Raised beds for the veggies and herbs are easier on the back. So, much fun over here! Keep the content coming, thanks for sharing.❤️
You have a beautiful garden. I grow mulberries, grapes, watermelon, okra etc. I like to go out everyday to survey the fruits, and veggies. The garden is a good place to de-stress and center as well. My tip is to simply enjoy it. It's quite magical seeing the flowers turn into gorgeous edibles. God's awesomeness on full display.
Kudos to Justin. From the South to the Rockies, I sense unlimited potential. Where the Bible sits.....The Farmer's Almanac should be close by. The FA is tried and true. Ingredients are necessary, but learn and understand the power of the Sun/Moon. Everything you grow represents how you grew it. I've seen Music, Touch, and Communication do unbelievable things in the Plant world. Congrats and good luck on your endeavor....
Your channel came on my feed. Your garden is beautiful. I starting about 9 years ago in Florida and it is very rewarding and relaxing once you see the fruits of your labor of love. Mint grows wild and will take over the garden. Try putting garden netting over your berries and fruits if you see the pest have nibbled them away. I have grown collards, turnips, beets, peppers, lettuces, tomatoes, okra, etc still trying to get the melons to produce and the corn. Keep on growing and enjoying what food should really taste like. ❤
It looks like the gardeners that planted the garden did a nice job. This seems funny i'm not sure if it's meant to be, but I like it. It gives Barbie vibes.
I love to grow things!!!!! Ive been planting a garden since ive returned from over seas 2002!!!! Do you find any differences when gardening in SC vice other states/cities you've lived?

What kind of mulch are you going to use? Mulching is one of my favorite parts of gardening. I like cedar and small local compost blend.
