recently nullscapes was verified by Zoink, and it is a top 3 hardest extreme demon in geometry dash. one small issue, huge drama controversy thing, because the creator put a clicks between frames blocker in the extreme demon and was annoying about it on twitter, chaos insues, and then i yap about it. im really getting tired of the cbf drama guys. anyways, Thanks So Much For Watching!

This drama is fucking ridiculous. I can’t run levels like bloodlust with good fps on certain sections and cbf is a life saver for me cause it makes the first ship actually playable while recording runs. It’s the definition of leveling the playing field entirely (y’all see that guy who did the first wave in tidal wave on mobile?) and it’s stupid that it’s even controversial at all
yeah, adding cbf to the main game would literally be an almost unanimously popular decision, but if that never happens we just have permanent drama like this basically
To add to this, it’s the same with fps bypass. It leveled the playing field a bit for players who couldn’t buy higher refresh rate monitors. This mod does the exact same thing but for people with lower end rigs, which I’d say is even better than what fps bypass did.

I’m the type of guy to want to beat every level I play full detail. I never liked the fact all the levels I’ve practiced had to be done in ldm, even with the visual clarity.
The moon isn’t the only thing that bricks my fps tho but it is a major one. Recording my runs through the extension always had frame drops and lag spikes

i think that it should be allowed, because it helps raise the difficulty ceiling, and that means more insane and absurdly hard levels, which, in my eyes, makes it more fun.

The only reason I can kind of think of is that the verifier of every top demon will be required to not use CBF, but then everyone else that goes to beat it is allowed to. It seems kind of unfair for the verifier to go through an experience that is much harder than victors of the level.
Verifiers already usually have much more difficult experience psychologically than victors afterwards. I am curious what happens if the level is verified with cbf, but is beaten without it by someone later. Like zodiac xander cheating = tech verifier, or space cheating = doggie verifier. It could work the same way..
I mean, its kinda fair tbh. Not for lower end extremes but for top 10 extremes. CBF allows for clicks that are normally physically impossible.

The thing i hate the most about this drama is that people dont understand that for CBF to be added into the game by Rob, the community need to popularize it, the community need to show rob that they want this in the game, by gatekeeping cbf and being strongly against it, people are just making rob take longer with it, he should be aware that the community and even people who dont use it would benefit from it

I think some people are forgetting how hard these levels are. I can't even fathom how someone beats a level like nullscapes or grief. In the end, CBF is just resolving a notorious hardware issue (FPS severly impacting gameplay) that has plagued the game since its inception and is making these inconceviably difficult levels slightly more achievable for the best players to ever touch the game. While it is cheating on paper, we are not the ones putting in upwards of 100,000 attempts and countless hours to verify a two minute geometry dash level. If it matters to a top player that their click registers between two frames of their 360 Hz monitor, I think we should all just chill out about it and give them this small advantage.

For me CBF is like fps bypass. Why do you consider it hacking? It's not like it beats the level for you and the mod is free so anyone can use it. It is especially useful on mobile with levels that lag a lot

Honestly, until Robtop adds cbf into the game, cbf blockers are (imo) really valid. The level was verified without cbf, so it's fair that it is beaten without it too, if the creator wishes so. I think Kiba (especially looking at the previous nullscapes "hitbox controversy") just likes trolling people on twitter, and i must admit that it is quite funny seeing a whole fleet of 10 years old argue about it. Personally, I'm not a cbf opposer, I use it myself (not like it makes much difference on low-mid range extremes), but if the creator wishes to have it NOT used in his level, just let him do so, no "drama" is needed on it. Complaining about every single possible thing imaginable is just a characteristic of the GD community atp.
If I verify a level on 3 fps, does that mean everyone else should have to play it on 3 fps as well? No? Of course not, because that’s stupid. Nobody should have to play the same way the verifier did, because it legitimately makes the game worse for some people. Mobile players can’t play like zoink did, so does that mean if a mobile player beats nullscapes, their record is invalid because they didn’t play it the same way zoink (the verifier) did?
Also, just because he is justified in adding the cbf blocker, doesn’t mean he is exempt from any criticism on it or hate.
@@GamingForeverEpicIf a fair amount of the difficulty comes from you playing it on 3 fps, and that was the base fps the game ran on and not a modification, then, yes, everyone else should have to beat it on 3 fps too. Geometry Dash is not a game that natively runs on 3 fps, so your first point is just flawed to begin with.
Also, no, that would not make the record invalid because I'm pretty sure that Kiba is not trying to force people beating the level the way Zoink did, he is trying to stop people from beating it with mods to the game. There is a very big difference between those.

Anyways, dorami buffing the level slightly for cbf players is 100% justified so that all players are on the same difficulty level (handled infinitely better than nullscapes). I allows those who like the mod to still enjoy playing with it, but not gain an advantage with it.

I remember when I used it, I experienced some issues on levels with lots of moving objects. So I stopped using it for that reason, but I think it's better now. The levels are called Action by Lyal, EXHAUST, and Shrill Manor. Yeah, I know they are all Hard Demons, point and laugh. If I were to use CBF again, it would be for all levels. Not just the hard ones.
@@p8geons233 but doesn’t it make your clicks be able to be more precise. If your timing is right, should you not be rewarded for it? It’s easier but only because the difficulty was artificially inflated by frames, not because it makes you better at the game.
In my opinion the cbf blocker on nullscapes wasn't a bad idea. It was added because zoink had to verify the level without cbf, and he wanted the other players to go through what he went through to beat it and get a record on pointercrate.
If you want your record on the demonlist beat it without cbf like zoink, if you don't care about your stats on pointercrate and like using cbf just beat it on a copyable without the cbf blocker.
The blocker doesn't stop you from playing the level, it just determines if you care more about the demonlist record or about having fun.
I'm not very active on twitter so I don't know much more about this drama, but the only problem I see with it are people complaining/arguing about it and being total dicks against whoever has a different opinion.
To conclude, most of these dramas wouldn't happen if the community just behaved correctly, so if you want to say something negative towards someone do yourself a favor and stfu.

ok hear me out........ robtop shouldnt add cbf to the actual game. And thats coming from someone who uses cbf. Here's why:
The way it would be implemented would be weird. The game physics/refresh rate or whatever cbf changes would either have to change as a whole, or be an unlock-able in a shop (or a setting but that doesnt really make sense). I think that levels verified with cbf should be rated, but i dont think adding it to the game would be as simple as youre making it out to be.
1. Setting or an item in a shop are good ideas
2. Without CBF, Tidal Wave will likely remain at the top in 20 years as well
3. No, CBF still hasn't been added to the game. I think RobTop should just rate levels if they have one victor without CBF.

The only reason I'm against CBF is because it's a mod. It slightly changes the games' physics (Especially in platformers) and I don't understand why sayo devices and high refresh rate monitors aren't enough for people.

Cbf fixes a problem, yes, it makes levels easier, but it allows for lower fps players to play on a similar level to higher fps players.

the thing about this is that people are complaining making it way worse than what it really is, they act like a cbf blocker will kill the level and stop people from playing it, which in fact might be true to a certain extent because how many people have beaten the top 10 list? the level gets famous, people will download the level and do a practice run and thats it look at tidal wave and see how many people have beaten it/doing progress compared to the number of downloads/likes the level has. At the end of the day, its your choice to use or not use cbf just like its the creators choice to put a cbf blocker in it

Because going above 60 was always possible in game? It's kinda hard to disallow something the game lets you do to begin with. Modifying how the game works however, is normally banned.
robtop never intended for players to go above 60 fps. the goddamn physics is tied to framerate. if the game uses some form of deltatime instead, there would never be a controversy surrounding monitor difference
also, times changed, "originally" here is like 2013, nowadays I believe the game has a set 240 (?) fps to run so everyone has the same physics

@@fernando4959 Just going to say, while some of the physics inconsistencies between framerates can be blamed on poor implementation, "just use deltatime" is not the solution lol. Geometry dash has always had movement based on deltatime, otherwise running 120fps would mean the game runs twice as quickly.
Going high FPS was a thing the game let you do. With an expensive external monitor mind you, but it was a function of the vanilla game.

I dont understand why people care about this sort of stuff, i have never used cbf and im playing oblivion, i have never needed to use cbf and dont really notice a different, cbf barely does anything to increase ur skill. If level creators really care that much then its fine to add a blocker, i just think the way kiba handled the blocker was bad as it seems it was just for attention on twitter, reddit and yt and pretty much nothing else.
It’s fine to add a blocker, but just because it’s “fine” to do something, doesn’t mean people aren’t going to shit all over you for it. RUclips removed dislikes, they were perfectly fine in doing it. No legal issues or anything else. But people obviously hated the update.

Because from my perspective, rated levels are levels that work with anything. The only excuse for it is if the level is simply broken, but here its intentionally making it unplayable for a part of the community for no good reason other than "CBF bad". Challenge levels are different, as they arent rated. Since they arent rated, they dont have stardards and can be limited to certain groups of people. @@monstergamer5467

Nullscapes is a level based off frame alignment, and as CBF makes it so you can click in between these frames, it can lead to deaths that aren't your fault.

cbf is already on ios, it is limited by input polling rate however so it is still has much less of an effect than on pc

in that case any top 2.2 completions of 2.1 levels are now unlegit as the physics change makes the levels harder

CBF is a game modification, if Kiba wants to put something to prevent the use of mods in a level meant to be played vanilla, then youre a wuss for complaining

I think cbf is a big issue and it was actually zoink who said something needed to be added to stop people from beating it as quickly as possible rather then the experience he went through with it. I think cbf is weird because it’s not allowed on things like aredl and gddp which is a big reason why most people dislike it because only 1 demon tracker allows it. I think overall it’s a stupid debate if a cbf version comes out and people wanna beat it on that that’s fine. It’s a big issue of verifiers not wanting to have people have a much easier experience and the level feel easier then the verifiers had to go through
