I've said it before - Canada so suits you. So many of these places brought back such good memories. Thank you for this.
Oh my gosh, every time I go to Canada I don’t want to leave! Maybe one day I won’t 😉🇨🇦❤️
I can’t get over Frederick the boat kitty! He’s precious. ❤😂
Frederick is a star and he absolutely knows it 🐈⬛
I have been a fan from the beginning of your RUclips channel, I live in Vancouver. So nice to see Vancouver from your lenses!
Thank you for your longtime support! And oh my gosh, I just loved Vancouver. Must return!
Love Vancouver! One of my favourite cities as it’s so beautiful. Glad you enjoyed!
❤ this video Jen !!!! Much preferred to hike videos 😅
Glad you liked it!
I live in Vancouver. Wish I knew you were here I would have shown you some great stuff.
Ahhh I live in Vancouver! Hope you had a wonderful trip ❤
I sure did! What an epic city to live in 👌
Thank you for sharing, Jen! 💜
Thanks for watching! ☺️
This was such a great video of my beautiful city. There is so so so much more to explore but you have hit some great spots. Hope you heal quick.
Glad you enjoyed it! Such a fantastic city. I hope to return someday 🏙️
Been enjoying your videos so much lately. They are so relaxing !!
I’m so happy to hear that! Thanks for watching ☺️
I loved all of this!❤ Thanks for sharing. I have always enjoyed being on the water and sailing is the best ( in my opinion). That Sushi did look scrumptious. I have never seen with sprouts, yum. I showed a teacher friend of mine that toy store front, so clever and adorable. Thanks again and I think your new mic is working well. You take care. 😊
Haven't been to Vancouver in 30 years. And I miss it terribly.
Love the new mic. It's nice to actually hear you and not all of the background noise.
I love it - when it works 😬 Unfortunately I had a bit of user error with my next vlog and am missing half the audio. I’m guessing I didn’t turn it on properly 🤦♀️ oh well, you live and learn, right?
@@WithWonder ha ha, oh dear! Well, even pro's have to master a learning curve. I have no doubt that you will come up with a way to save the vlog!
great vlog as always
Thank you so much 😊
Wow, you sold me on a trip to Vancouver just by the description of that ice cream shop! Lol😅
Hope your throat feels better and thanks for another fantastic travel video!!❤
Blackberry Goat Cheese sounds wonderful!
We used to live in Vancouver and we miss the restaurants. Some of the best in Canada❤
That sushi was 100/10 🤌
Hi Jenn! Glad you enjoyed Vancouver. I plan to visit one day so i will use your vlog for recommendations. The sound quality is great i think. Hope your cough and throat issues get better. Take care!
I hope you do get to visit! Such an awesome place - and there’s WAY more to do than I could squeeze into this day and a half. But for sure do the boat charter if you can swing it. Those folks are so awesome and it was amazing ⛵️
Van-yay ❤
👍👍
Hi Jen! It was nice meeting you af the United Club. Hope all is well.❤
Great to meet you too! Thanks for saying hi 😁
@@WithWonder 😄
Lovely calming video as always Jen! :) Just something I noticed - are you wearing a Lisa Junius hairclip? :P She's a local artist to me (from Luxembourg), I just saw her last week and have a few clips myself! If so - it really mis a small world! 🤩
Yes I am! Good eye 😉
Amazing! 😍
The sound was great. The only thing I noticed was there were some parts where I felt a little motion sick. Maybe because of filming on the phone but maybe not. (I get motion sick very easily) Great video as always.
Been to both parks. The other one is better. Next time!❤
Hi Jen! Great vlog, so cool to see all the places you visit! I haven't ever noticed an issue with your audio (I watch all your videos btw), maybe an odd clip here or there but overall totally fine in my opinion.
20:10 I think it’s called Burrard Inlet. 20:41 Lions Gate Bridge.
👍👍
I've been to Japan three times and I still think Vancouver sushi far surpassed actual Japanese sushi!
You’re close! Vahn-yay (I can’t spell phonetically, but I think you’ll get the gist lol).
Thank you!
And Cap- eh- lan- o
👍👍
Curious…Do you travel solo? I’m widowed and I’m trying to get up the nerve.
Yes, I do. I love it but I’ve enjoyed solo travel since my college days so it’s not a new experience for me. If you’re curious about it, I recommend trying it out little bits at a time. Think, a couple hours to a local spot, then up to a half day, then maybe a full day after that. If all that goes well, an overnight somewhere not too far followed by a full weekend a bit farther away…see how it goes. I don’t think rushing into a huge solo trip is necessary to test out. Best to ease into things, at least that’s how I see it. Traveling so solo gets easier the more I do it. Follow your curiosity and see - you never know what you might discover about yourself on the journey! ❤️
I guess you were not able to go to Whistler and Buchart Gardens in Victoria?
Stay tuned 😉
@@WithWonder if you go to Victoria you should stay at villa eyrie. It’s become my escape place. The views, massive bath tubs, spa, and restaurant is 20/10. Plus it’s not even expensive.
I love the beauty of your videos. They are so calming and relaxing. I want to eat my way through that market!
Oh my gosh, what a fun place! Everything looks delicious 😋
Fun fact regarding the Totem pole. I love history so this is more from a historical point to view that a religious.
“You are not to plant for yourself an Asherah pole of any kind of wood beside the altar of The Lord your God that you make for yourself. Nor are you to set up a pillar for yourself-Adonai your God hates this.” Deuteronomy 16:21-22 TLV
An Asherah pole is a sacred tree or pole that stood near Canaanite religious locations to honor the Ugaritic mother goddess Asherah, consort of El. The relation of the literary references to an asherah and archaeological finds of Judaean pillar-figurines has engendered a literature of debate. (Wikipedia)
Who is Asherah?
The goddess Asherah and Asherah poles are in the Bible from Exodus to Micah, which shows that this form of idolatry was a constant thorn in Israel’s side.
Break down their altars, smash their sacred stones and cut down their Asherah poles. Exodus 34:13
This goddess appears to be the divine consort of the principal male deity in a number of Mesopotamian and Syrophoenician pantheons: this diety is the Babylonian storm god Amurru, the Ugartic god El, and perhaps even the Canaanite god Baal. Asherah was clearly a popular goddess (1 Kings 18:19). Her prominent appearance in the biblical narrative also indicates her cult was a major rival to Yahweh worship (Ex 34:13; Deut. 16:21). As a result, this explains the number of examples in which Asherah poles are erected and venerated, the strong condemnations of this practice and the depictions of these poles being cut down and burned (Judg. 6:25-30; 2 Kings 23:4-7).
She was often represented in the Bible by sacred poles erected near an altar. Her popularity among Israelites, still tainted by a polytheistic worldview, may be suggested by the inscription found in the northwest part of Sinai, “Yahweh and his Asherah”. Asherah can either be the name of the fertility goddess or the name of a cult object. The goddess was popular in pagan deviations in Israel and was also sometimes considered a mediator of Yahweh’s blessings.
This is how far back the Totem pole goes all the way back we see them in Egypt, Mexico with the Aztec as well. Migration patterns shows these were all the same people
This is why we find pyramids in various places through out .
I'm from New Mexico and I remember a DNA project involving the Navajo tribe. They found they share the same DNA as the Chinese. My indigenous friends were so amazed. Like I said I love history. I'm sure you can find less religious examples on your own research if this interests you.

I love all of your trips, but do you live with your kids or just leave them with Don on the weekends, how do you manage?
We have a co-parenting agreement where they spend equal time with each of us. Works best for our family at this time ❤️
That is great Jen, so happy for you to have that opportunity. I love your videos ❤️
Great vlog unfortunately most places downtown area's aren't good for staying it's convenient but due to the homeless crisis in all major cities pretty much across the US and other countries crime is so bad gotta stay outside of those areas to feel safe but anywhere honestly gotta watch you're surroundings stay safe have fun we get one life gotta make the best of it.😊
