I think existence of rivulet in inv’s dating sim is where everybody really start to get the idea of rivulet of being this absolute goblin
and now every shitpost of riv has not been far from the inv dating sim
My favorite part of this video is Ruffles going *skweee* like a rain frog and Lttm breakdancing on the floor. And Ruffles saying "Are you afraid of the I, embodiment of darkness and wet mouse".
You steal a black matter core in Riv's campaign and then toss it into the abyss without any regard for the possibility that it could go super critical and destroy like half of the planet. I think Riv has always been a chaotically neutral goblin mode fiend from the start.

Actually there are way more ways to die besides the egg. All of their lines are from the dating sim
I kind of picture Rivulet as never properly meeting another slugcat. I can imagine something similar to this going down only with said slugcat awkwardly fleeing leaving Rivulet depressed.
Ngl the animation of moon at 1:37 made me realise how easy it would be to use the iterators as horror movie villains
