Love that they gave so many options, for pretty much everything you can think of. Especially the" Wide area camera " I'm always looking around for material or chests etc. Also this game is so freaking beautiful. Great work brother.
Appreciate the kind words and yes tons of options here. I felt this deserved a video for those that never really bothered to check the options but also to hear from those that like or dislike certain settings as well. There was a lot to unpack here.
@@user-lz5vh9bb5w As a FFXIV Player I agree - would love to see the camera out further especially when on a Chocobo. Still feels cropped in when on a mount.
I watched your Cloud and Tifa combat guides and these guides are so helpful. I did very well in the first part of this remake but I'm worried that this second part will be more complicated. Thank you for your help. I need to watch your other combat guides soon.
Thank you for supporting the channel. That Cloud guide could have been better especially now that I have more experience with explaining the combat. I'll be uploading more guides after I play the game. Boss guides included.
Hey, have been playing for a few hours and some things really just felt a bit off, despite me enjoying the game. This video really helped me change some things to my liking and has really helped my enjoyment of the game, so thank you!
Thanks and yeah that clutter gets in the way later in the game for sure; especially after you know what you're doing. You just reminded me to remove mine now that I'm settled in my own playthrough.
I've seen a couple videos say that the only lock-on that has auto camera is the third option. This is untrue. The second option is the only one out of the three that doesn't have auto camera. So you can pick camera controls and not have to keep managing the camera when locked on. Yes, the third option is the only one that tells you it has auto camera, but just switch to the first option and you see it has it as well.
Appreciate that and thank you very much for the kind words - the playthrough is taking me a while to get through so my ff7 rebirth video content has been on pause until I get a better understanding of things. Hope you enjoy the existing catalog of videos! I also stream playthroughs on my 2nd Channel @oxfordkinglp
Appreciate that! I paused on the guides as I needed to finish FF7 Rebirth on my other Live Channel - now that I'm done it's back to making a few more FF7 Rebirth guides. Already working on a Yuffie Combat Guide.
thanks for the tips also i know this is a horrible opinion but i be pl;aying in 4k mode i know iknow ew 30fps but perf looks too blurry for me even with the patch
saldy im still ill i was hoping to be nbetter before ff7 release but im gonna have to wait few more days so i got to avoid spoilers tho i have not played the og i do know about sorten stuff that happens in the story but this is a remake with nes stuff @King
First I heard of this - only thing I can think of is the section I went over where you can remove information on the left part of your screen may be turned off for you.
Change the Brightness to 5 but outside of that the game has this weird darkness issue that the Demo had as well - it's a known issue with how they handled Lighting in this game. Just have to deal with it.
Damn came here to see if I could turn off the horrendous dark to light effect when going in and out of buildings but looks like it's just bad game design
The visual indicator is to let you know that you can climb, not walk on terrain. It isn’t redundant. There’s high terrain that doesn’t seem scalable, but it’s possible once you tap O. Just wanted to make that distinction, because the game automatically makes you walk on higher ground if it’s low enough, but not every instance you’d know something is scalable unless you tap O, which is why the indicator is there.
@@oxfordking 😂😂 I had to be that guy because of your commentary man, sorry lol by the way, I have it turned off. Just wanted to point the useless info out haha
I think the idea is that you pick what you would naturally choose in a conversation based on your initial feeling, to get a more authentic flow and outcome. Sometimes thinking too much about a reply makes everything less natural and honestly, more boring, because it's less immersive when you consciously try to determine what the "best" choice might be.
No idea how you can play in performance mode... looks so blurry. But I guess graphics mode kind of sucks too. 30fps feels soo awful. But performance mode looks like a PS3 game.
60fps input timing and smooth as butter livestream VODs look a hell of a lot better than a 4k30 VOD so many other creators are doing. Can't watch 2 minutes of it and I turn it off.
This game just sucks. Even with these control fixes the fact that they RANDOMLY determine an enemy to fight and lock on to, whet the lock on feature isn't being used, is just proof of the downgrade in the system. How do you make your game worst?
Now that I've been playing the game for a few hours I realized just put it on easy the combat is trash just like it was and remake Love the story but the original is so much better
This game has far too much going on and it really makes things messy and unorganized. I'm still enjoying it but it doesn't have to have a confusing amount of layers to combat.
Yeah it's overwhelming and a lot of players are saying the same. Too many choices doesn't always mean better. Still love the combat but it's too much to keep up with at times.

Nice! So glad you found the video and there were a few things in here that helped out - means a lot to me!
I’m happy I found how to remove the combat display guide, I felt the screen was too cluttered. I’m trying some of the other setting, great job

I'm one of the weird people who prefer fixed over free
Nah not weird at all. Some people prefer certain things. You're awesome and don't ever forget that. Who cares how others play a video game.
I use free too son.
@OxfordKing Not everyone is awesome, dude. In fact, it's pretty damn rare.
can’t be that wierd because it was already a default setting :b
I use fixed.
You want to mute MAI? Put her voice in the controller and MUTE the controller sound! Be happy guys!
Hell yeah! Nice one 🎉
Im gonna change these settings AFTER i have played the game. Will they still work? But honestly thanks for going indepth with all of these!

Pro tip. Put it on performance and don't look back.
I dont have the "completed assignment guideance" in my settings..
It will show up after MAI appears in the game and then after you complete a Mission from Her. It happened to me too in the Full Game.
