Hi everyone, hope you’ve all been well and staying safe. Thank you so much for all the kindness and prayers you’ve sent my way. It’s so appreciated and I love all of you 💗 hope you enjoy this video. Let me know how you’ve been 🦋
Hi, Lizzie The Gangster Hippie! You're doing what I'm doing. I'm getting that nice feeling by listening to some of the best music available to me. I love watching your videos because of how much you enjoy the song. It's therapeutic watching your videos, Lizzie. Thank you, Barry and Andy so much for posting this one!
That whole album is like this! Lushly n tastefully orchestrated and they both sing up to it! The overture is amazing. We’re so fortunate to have these recordings! Same album: DOCTOR JESUS!
Ah jeez they're both incredible. I have a tremendous soft spot for Ella though. She takes me on a ride with every song she sings. She's got probably my favorite voice of all time.
Mr. Armstrong conveyed so much feeling on his trumpet. Loved the scatting he did near the end. Ms. Fitzgerald brings out the meaning of the song. So much skill in this recording.
Beautiful unique singing by Ella and Louis, and what a wonderful orchestra , and an unbelievable string section, when they had that unequalled Hollywood sound. One of those rare times when everything comes together.
My mom's favorite musician as a teenager was ... George Gerschwin! Imagine growing up when he was still active. I'm glad I was around when Ella and Louis were still making music, even if it was late in their careers.
I love all kinds of music from, heavy metal, to Ballard's, I have had new knees fitted I think because of all the dancing I've done in the past, like this song Louis Amsrong and Ella Fitzgerald were great singer's, good luck with everything bye 🇬🇧
Ella was the best voice in the world to record on electronic medium. She lead big bands and she had perfect pitch. The band use her voice to tune up to, not the piano. 1 out of 10,000 humans has the talent of perfect pitch. Pops was born where I was born and currently live. The 504 loves Pops so much.
The first 3 notes of that trumpet, and IYKYK.... That can only the Satchmo....And Lord Lizzie... your reaction is mesmerizing.... I only wish we had music like this still, but thank God we have recordings.
Hi Lizzie, These are two iconic musical legends that always delivered "top-notch" performances...So I already knew we were going to be in for a treat!!! 😊
Your observations are very perceptive, Lizzie. This recording is timeless, as all great art is. Love your reaction and absolutely love you! Good to see you back. Your the best!
So, the Gangsta came out to hang out with da crew 😇😂 Always great to see ya, Lizzy!! Awesome pick, you def got that "old soul" thing going on this day 😇😁🌹🕊️
Hey Liz, What's going on? There you go grooving and vibing to that beautiful classic duet! The "Legendary Ella Fitzgerald" and "The Great Louis Armstrong", very heart felt! (Yes indeed it transports you back to that time and place) I call this type of music "Jazzy-Easy Listening"! Alright my Dear you take care and stay safe! "Vibe Squad Out"!
There's a reason why Ella Fitzgerald and Louie Armstrong's names are remembered with such reverence. This performance of "Summertime" by Louie and Ella is a wonderful result of their musical expertise. And a pure joy to listen to, Lizzie. One of my favorite performances recently is "The Look of Love" by Paula Cole, Chris Botti and Burt Bacharach from the Chris Botti Live With Orchestra and Friends DVD. Chris Botti's trumpet playing is one of my favorite ways to feel joy. I'm so grateful that you're back and posting videos, Lizzie. It's good to see Barry and Andy also.
Great reaction, I think you are the only to recognize that "Summertime" is a lullabye.. it is part of a folk opera by the Gershwin brother. It was a flop later became a classic.
Hi Liz, hope you are OK ? I worry when we don't see you for a while, love your reactions, you would love The Guess Who singing '' These Eyes '' they are a band from the 70's with an amazing singer called Burton Cummings, this track has the most beautiful string arrangement in it and I know you would love it, take care much live from me here in the UK ❤❤❤
Great song by 2 legends.. so happy to see you.. gorgeous as always Liz. I know you love strings and instruments... I think you will like the leader of the band by Dan fogelburg
Greetings! I recommend making a reaction to Diana Ankudinova (19), one of the best vocalists in the world, who has a unique voice - a dramatic contralto with polyphonic overtones. Many RUclipsrs have made more than 12 thousand reactions to Diana over the past couple of years. RUclipsrs especially liked Diana's performances on TV shows - 'You are Super' and 'ShowMASKgoOn'. - Can't Help Falling in Love, Crow, Personal Jesus, Wicked Game, Human. I was happy to see your reaction to Diana!

So wonderful to see your smile again! Love this video! You might like the Moody Blues song Knights in White Satin live at the Royal Albert Hall (full orchestra). Al Stewart’s Year of the Cat is a 1976 classic w/strings, etc. Dire Straits Sultans of Swing Alchemy Live is 10+ minutes of guitar & drums greatness. Hope you enjoy! And thank you as always for the positive and beautiful music and entertainment your videos bring to us. 😊
You asked about duets, eh? Maybe as an homage to the big dude, since he recently passed away, you might enjoy Meatloaf and Marian Raven, "It's All Coming Back To Me Now". Really good video with a serious "retro" mood and look. 😇😁🌹🕊️
Hoping that one day you could possibly do a reaction to James Brown and Pavarotti doing a rendition of "This is a Mans World" or Louis Armstrong singing "What a Wonderful World" live. Watching Louis Armstrong live is actually quite intense because of his mannerisms and physical features. Luv ya lady, I'm a big fan, hope you're doing well.
Hi Lizzie. I really enjoy your reaction videos. I know how you like good vocals and instruments (especially strings) so I 'd like to suggest "Nights in White Satin" by The Moody Blues. If you'll do the full version it gives you the full impact of the song. I'll bet you would enjoy it. Thanks.
How about Karen Carpenter and Ella Fitzgerald? ruclips.net/video/HDp9b9eYoLM/видео.html On another note, I’m happy to see that reactors are now venturing further into the past and discovering artists who got their start before the rock era.
Wonderful who could sing a song like that today ? Thanks for your comments too ! Please consider playing /reacting to 2 songs by Peggy Lee--- "Fever" and The folks who live on the hill

Beautiful unique singing by Ella and Louis, and what a wonderful orchestra , and an unbelievable string section, when they had that unequalled Hollywood sound. One of those rare times when everything comes together.
My dad loved Louis, and mom loved Ella, so this song made both of them happy. They were both fabulous performers, and together unbeatable.
My mom's favorite musician as a teenager was ... George Gerschwin! Imagine growing up when he was still active. I'm glad I was around when Ella and Louis were still making music, even if it was late in their careers.
