Jacks got a point. Mr beast has made it all about views and clicks now. Especially considering the fact that Jimmy has openly admitted to he and his crew micro analysing RUclips content in order to produce the most acceptable content on the platform.
Well, yes, that's the whole point of RUclips for some people. Also, he's been microanalysing RUclips and the algorithm for years. But he's also said that he doesn't want his videos to look too professional, which is why he won't upgrade his cameras past a certain point.
I feel that nowadays people just can't respect each others opinions anymore. Jack js entitled to his thoughts and opinions of others. Also he was literally baited by Tommy into saying these things since he wasn't able to lie.
If ur able to control your nervousness, and be able to stay calm , you can tell the most blatant lie to a lie detector test and pass , these sorts of test are extremely unreliable and is pure pseudo science

Because he has too big of a platform to basically call someone’s content fake and make an assumption about how much they enjoy making content, or how much passion goes into it.

It's not "just an opinion" though, if he had just said something like "I personally don't like his content" then that'd be fine, but he said things that were just objectively false and dumb. MrBeast may have changed it and been the most successful by a landslide but blaming him for ruining the whole platform is ridiculous. You don't need longer videos to have more fun either. That is just Jack's style, doesn't mean everyone else has to follow it; love the guy obviously but he needs to realize that fun is different for everyone.

People always get mad if you dare to criticize Mr Beast.
I think the reason for that is that you can’t really get mad at Mr. Beast as a person. Sure say what you will about his content, but the guy donates millions of dollars to the homeless and poor, gives money and opportunities to his subscribers, and ultimately is just a better person than 90% of the people alive. Since Jimmy is tied to his content directly, that’s why people get so defensive.

This is the first I've heard of this drama, but having to go off of the clip without Jack's more detailed reasoning isn't much to work with.
Although it definitely wasn’t MrBeasts intention imo he did play a HUGE part in ruining RUclips content. You can see how so many creators today want to replicate his succes (but worse) and RUclips is now full of this garbage “do this for 10K!!!1!1!😱😱” content. The editing and jokes are all so fast and explosive, everyone (and I mean EVERYONE) acts so extroverted and there’s little to no downtime for some personal talks. MrBeast isn’t a corporate entity like a lot of the biggest channels but it does feel like one imo.
I still think MrBeast makes fun content because he’s the only one that does this type of content on this scale and if he wasn’t as big as he is now and there weren’t a million copy cats of him he would 100% be a perfect role model for RUclipsrs

Seems like people love to forget that you can not like something but not hate it. His opinion is his, you may not like it but it's not about being right or wrong. Jack doesn't post 2 videos a day anymore though, he barely does weekly now. Yes he used to, but during that time he was genuinely happy about posting that kind of content. Of course that leads to burnout, which is where he is now by not uploading daily anymore like Felix. Well, Felix is retired and Jack doesn't have the same upload schedule as before because he was unhappy with how he went at it, just pumping out videos without breaks. I also don't know why you'd say he's in a burnout stage now tho when he's already out of that by literally changing his schedule and taking care of himself more, he's happier than he was before.

I honestly can't agree that Jack was "put on the spot". He was not forced to take a lie detector test, he obviously had to agree to it before hand. Tommy probably let him know by saying," Hey there might be questions your not comfortable with answering, are you sure you want to do this?." Also he answered the questions so fast, with no hesitation and he seemed super confident in what he was saying. Also Mr. Beast might have been a fan of Jack, that could be why he was super offended and spoke out.
So what if he did say what's on his mind? Are we forced to like people now? It's a damn lie detector test, if he was just asked in an interview without that machine and he went to town on Mr. Beast and how he ruined RUclips, then it might've been a valid thing to say that he hates the guy. He just don't like him is all. People seem to forget that you can not like something and not hate it.

As I say a lot. We live in a society where if you speak out your opinion many others with attack you for it. grew up watching RUclips since about 2010-2011 and I can definitely understand jacks argument. Yes Mr beast has changed youtube in both a good and bad way. The good way is that Mr beast sorta looks like he is enjoying his work but dew to this and how popular he has become it’s making many others just copy him. Yes back when I was watching most people were doing let’s plays on similar games but each still was different with reactions, how funny some the RUclipsrs were, people actually showing there passion for RUclips. I won’t lie Mr beast does all of this to help out people who need help but like you said his backlash at Jack he didn’t need to do if he wanted to be the bigger man.

I actually like Jack, but I think that he was in the wrong here. Yeah, maybe he was hooked up to a polygraph and was under some pressure, but he clapped kinda hard. He didn’t need to go into it with details. As far as Jimmy goes, I’m confused by some of the things that he said, but yeah, I think a response for this one was definitely due. Jack isn’t exactly a small time RUclipsr, he has 30 million subs. When someone that popular comes at your throat, it’s reasonable that you’d want to defend your position. Also, I don’t care for Ethan Klein at all anymore, but he was absolutely right with everything he said. But that all just my opinion.

Or it doesn't count because RUclips has been trying to bury me since my first video got over 100k but the 2nd part was age-restricted and only got about 8k and these tactics haven't changed in 15 yrs but have only gotten worse since COVID.
I think Jack's opinion is more generalized, a reason for that could be because Mr Beast uses his money as the main point of the video which results in people watching him and other copycats burn away their money for stuff like "I bought this Lamborghini and threw it off a cliff" that is not fun overall it's just stupidity of course Mr Beast has evolved from that, organising huge and fun games that many people take place in and raising money for charities...but he WAS kind of the start of that whole thing where peopke buy expensive stuff and do stupid things with them and post the videos on RUclips for views

I'm sure many questions asked maybe were cut out, or maybe everyone knew what questions were going to be asked, they obviously kept in certain things to stir up drama . If someone asked me for a collab, and said we doing a lie detector test and we ain't going to tell you what kind of questions we gonna ask, I'd say pass.
