I almost never leave comments on youtube, but this video warrants one - this had to be one of the most informative videos on GD's quality and reliability. I will be in the market in 3 weeks and hopefully I can pick this exact floor plan up! Thank you for in info and detailed walkthrough.
We bought a 2020 Grand Design last year and we love it camped all season in it with our grand kids so much room and plenty of room in the bathroom for changing. Would recommend this camper...we can't wait till season opens again to enjoy and make new memories .
We bought this exact Grand Design 26BH trailer in September 2019. Best decision ever. Love all the features and the floor plan is the best. We've been camping three times as much this summer already.
I love the bunks. I think this is my favorite design if you cant have an actual seperate bunk room. I always disliked how closed in bunks are; like your shimming into a box. Love the open concept and the steps on the side. Bathroom closing the master is a little strange but the room you get from it is real nice. Thanks for the video!
We’re a family of 5 upgrading from a 21 foot bunk house and the design makes sense to us. Our boys weren’t too crazy about the enclosed twin but the kids love the wrap around curtains around the open double because they can either leave it open and watch a movie with the family, or close the curtains for privacy. The bathroom is weird, until you get up in the middle of the night and realize you don’t have to charge through the coach to use it.
@@benpetersen9709 yeah that is definitely a big plus for that style bunk. We are a family of 5 too and should be receiving our Transcend any day now. I can't wait! Happy camping!
Echo Blystone, glad to hear you love the floor plan!! We would love to be able to help you in getting one. There are freight delivery options available. Would you like to more about this? Please let us know if you would like to explore further. Thanks for watching the video and commenting. Talk soon and happy Camping!!😀 Clayton can be reached by calling 780-986-1234.
Mathews Hoyt, great question!! You can mosey definitely pull this trailer with the “right” 1/2 or 3/4 ton. Please always be sure to verify the tow and payload capacities of any tow vehicle so it meets proper safe towing specs. Also, make sure you’re equipping the tow vehicle and trailer with proper towing equipment such as weight distribution hitch and brake control. We hope this helps!!😀
Magic Apples, if you’re basing your opinion solely on the open bunk layout, you then must detest 70-80% of the Travel Trailer bunk models built in the industry today. It’s unfortunate you think this is the worst layout you have ever seen because there are so many wonderful attributes this trailer poses that makes it such a good floor plan. In fact, the #1 selling bunk model layout in the industry has open bunk beds. We understand some people prefer to have a closed off bunk room and there are some really good layouts built that accomplish this. Good luck in your bunk model trailer search and we hope you find the floor plan that best suits your needs and wants.
ironflange, thanks for the comment. I can appreciate your feelings towards the walk through bathroom. Here are some of the quick benefits of the bathroom. 1. It’s not right beside the bunks which makes it quieter when kids are sleeping. 2. Tons more counter and storage capability than typical corner bath versions. 3. More flow and floor space because it’s the full width of the trailer. 4. Solid pocket doors create a double walled sound barrier between master bedroom and living area, making it quieter when the kids get up in the morning or watching TV. These are just some of the major benefits of a bathroom like this. You could also check out the 261BH Xplor which has a more conventional corner bunk/bathroom layout. You could also view the 27BHS Transcend or 2800BH Imagine. Thanks again for your comment. Take care and happy Camping.😀
ironflange, that’s great news!! Congrats on the purchase of your new Reflection. We hope it helps bring you and your family many wonderful camping memories!! Happy Camping and take care!!😀

8 Overland, thanks for your question. I don’t think there is enough distance to allow the slide to move in and out.
Is it safe to tow this vehicle with a 1/2 ton or just use a 3/4 truck

Nothing wrong with that bunk layout, but it's the walk-through bathroom that I'm not too keen on. That's just me, though.
